“THIS IS WHY YOU DON’T HAVE FRIENDS!”

Hehehe!! That’s the comment from my official critic, my daughter, Ember. I get it! I’m a lil extra! Too much for people to handle! And why I cherish the ones who do! Add in my constant God winks, and I’m definitely too much constantly bragging about how I’m God’s favorite (HUGE SMILE).

Like this morning, I woke up to one of my fav Instagram reels with someone dancing to Diana Ross’ song, ‘I’m Coming Out.’ Fast forward maybe two hours or so later, I was running back from my God tree listening to my Ceri recordings when I felt God saying in my spirit to listen to our Good’s girls playlist of over exactly 1,096 songs and when I picked a random shuffle, THE VERY FIRST SONG TO PLAY WAS THIS VERY DIANA ROSS SONG, ‘I’m Coming Out!’ NOBODY CAN TELL ME THAT WAS SOME RANDOM COINCIDENCE! That was God Himself orchestrating this God wink to reveal another glimmer of His invisible presence with me. Here’s how my favorite meditation book explains this:

“As you go through this day, look for tiny treasures strategically placed along the way. I LOVINGLY GO BEFORE YOU and plant little pleasures to brighten your day. Look carefully for them, and pluck them one by one.” – Jesus Calling

God has the sweetest and coolest personality!!! I’m with David who wrote this thousands of years ago:

“what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them?” – Psalm 8:4

I ran back home so happy KNOWING GOD HIMSELF STRATEGICALLY ORCHRESTRATED THAT REEL AND SONG TO PLAY!!! So listen, listen listen! I don’t want to be this happy by myself! Like my guy Mufti Menk taught me:

“Your five daily prayers; Work on them. Hold on to them. Become strong on them and see the miracles in your life.”

My alone times with God, especially listening to Ceri’s messages and rereading old posts with the wisdom from my brother, Kevin, have brought me to a new realm of closeness with God. After quoting this verse in my last post, someone who I haven’t spoken to in months had sent it to me the very day before:

“Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.” – Colossians 3:16

Again, it is no coincidence, but where God wants us all, filling our lives with the richness of Christ and His example, teaching and counseling each other with this wisdom. Google “WE ROLL WITH GOD” and make rolling with the Creator of the Universe your lifestyle. Amen!

“YOU GOTTA FORGIVE, MAN”

That’s me to my new angel, Eddie, who is helping me renovate our office, making me seriously happy (God, thank you for all the angels you send to my life!!!). So, yesterday, I had a talk with Eddie about forgiveness. I said I know it’s difficult and will take superhuman strength sometimes, but we do it for the God who forgives us. So, in cleaning the office today, I said let me see what our calendar (Mottos For Success) had to say, and unbelievably the message for yesterday said what I told Eddie:

“Forgiveness is an act of superhuman proportions. But once you forgive, the liberating power of this act will immediately become apparent to you.

Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” – 2 Corinthians 3:17

God is pretty talkative guys! No way my message to Eddie on 11/23 lined up precisely with the calendar’s message for 11/23. IT WAS A MESSAGE TO US ALL TODAY!!! As I explained to Eddie, forgiveness is for us! We walk around sad, angry, and bitter when we don’t forgive. But, as Ceri has beautifully taught me, we must forgive and hand over whatever anyone has done to us to God. Nobody is perfect, so in the same way we want God and others to forgive us, we must forgive others, too.

I was so happy talking to Kevin yesterday when he asked, “Who am I to point fingers at anyone?” Honestly, who are any of us to judge and condemn anyone? Yesterday, I heard some criticism from someone who said that I take Kevin like a God the way I always speak about it. I said not at all, just the opposite; Kevin points me to God. In one of my terrible moments, Kevin said, “Neeks, the best thing I can tell you is to get closer to God. Make God your priority.” That is the best advice ever given in the history of humanity. GOD IS TRULY OUR GREATEST FRIEND. Kevin encourages me to be wise, which means going to God constantly asking for His guidance and obeying Him. Not always easy, but always best!

This person also suggested that I read the Bible instead of talking to Kevin so much. In thinking about it, Kevin has been the walking Bible in what he demonstrates and teaches me. These verses come to mind when I think of Kevin and the genuine love and support he gives me:

“Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.” – Colossians 3:12-17 NLT

May Kevin inspire us all to love and support each other HARDER!! Doing it all as a representative of God! Amen!

“GOD, OVERWHELM US WITH YOUR PRESENCE”

That was my prayer under my God tree today, and He certainly didn’t disappoint! To the point that He had me crying happy tears in my office, getting all emotional when I’m supposed to be the professional and calm boss lady (SMILE). This God wink began when I got to the God tree at 20 minutes past the hour, so I went to page 20 of our family’s website:

“But the reason why Kevin left me that voice note was because my angel/brother had arranged for me to spend some time by the pool of the Hard Rock Hotel with some out-of-town clients. So, I head over there and at the traffic light to turn onto GRIFFIN Road, a customer with the last name “GRIFFIN” flashes me, and her name appears on my phone. I looked at the vehicle directly in front of me, and it had a frame reading that it was purchased at I-75 at “GRIFFIN.” So, that’s three “GRIFFINS” all lined up perfectly together. I look next to me, and there is a truck with the number “21113” printed on it. “211” has been special to me and my daughter, Julie, because we take it as God leading her to attend a specific university in New York, after we visited back in January, and the number “2011” is engraved on one of the building’s stone. That evening, we got an email from this university offering Julie a scholarship of $29,000 per year for four years. To God be the glory!

When I spoke to the customer with the last name Griffin, can you believe she didn’t even know that she had called me? It was all God getting my attention with those three “GRIFFINS” lining up with the “211” on that truck to say that His Presence is strong with my family and me, and that was the university He wanted Julie to attend. I know this all sounds crazy, but it’s God’s voice that I’ve come to know.”

Fast forward a few hours later, my angel/dealer supply guy shows up to get paid for a recent order, and unbelievably, OF ALL THE AMOUNTS, his bill came to precisely $211. NOBODY CAN TELL ME THIS WAS SOME ORDINARY COINCIDENCE!!! It was again everything lining up too perfectly with God overwhelming me with His Presence. This 211 is a unique communication from God where He reminds me that He is taking me out of my comfort zone and teaching me how to have “walk on water” kind of faith in Him. He is putting a lot of pressure on your girl, but He makes me highly aware of His Presence with me and that He and I are carrying my burdens together. Amen.

I had to rush to my bank this afternoon, and while waiting, He had this to say to me (and now you!):

“I AM NEARER than you think, richly present in all your moments. You are connected to Me by Love bonds that nothing can sever. However, you may sometimes feel alone because your union with Me is invisible. Ask me to open your eyes so that you can find Me everywhere. The more aware you are of my Presence, the safer you feel. This is not some sort of escape from reality; it is turning in to the ultimate reality. I am far more Real than the world you can see, hear, and touch. Faith is the confirmation of things we do not see and the conviction of their reality, perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses.” – Jesus Calling Morning and Evening Devotional

GOD EXCEEDS MY EXPECTATIONS IN EVERY ASPECT OF MY LIFE!!!

I’m in love with this verse:

“Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” – Ephesians 3:20

Honestly, this is my experience with God! Like God got me balling crying yesterday when I read this voice note from my brother, Kevin, in my appointment with Him by my God tree:

“Every day. Every day. Every day, my sister. Every day. Accumulate a little more strength, and you will see the most powerful woman you’ve ever seen in your life. Don’t mind all the noise around you. Work on that which you just sent me. You have to work on being a stronger person. And I don’t mean because you feel good today. The more strength you build up, the more muscle mass you build up, the stronger you are when you need that strength. I told you before you don’t pray for things not to happen; you pray for strength to deal with things when they happen. And things are happening. Every day. Every day. Every day. Every day. Take care of yourself.”

The reason I cried was because I thought of how God has exceeded anything I could have imagined with this brother who has overwhelmingly supported me for the last four years. I tell him he is like 10,000 brothers in one! AND WITH THE BEST ADVICE FOR EVERY ASPECT OF MY LIFE!!!! The thing is out of the world unreal! Not any normal, something something! I feel like he is my personal hotline to God! (HUGE SMILE)

So after He advised me to work on getting stronger, God then brings Ceri into my life to help with that! I told you guys, no shame, I wake up every day to listen to Ceri’s playlist on our WE ROLL WITH GOD YouTube channel called ‘Nikki’s Daily Motivation.’ Today I ran in the dark and in the rain listening to him as I ran to my God tree. Ceri reminds me that God is my strength to tackle my life! WE CAN DO ALL THINGS WITH GOD BY OUR SIDE!! Then, I take some quiet time to listen to what God has to say to me, reading from our family’s website and my meditation books.

Bottom line, guys, make sure you are working on your relationship with God! The love God shows me to have Kevin and Ceri to show up and support me has been incredible! I don’t want to be this loved by God by myself! Kevin told me to work on being wise, and Ceri’s messages are about having Godly principles and values that are seriously working for me. GOD IS THE BEST GUIDE FOR OUR LIVES!!! Kevin said to make God my priority to get closer to God, and the messages from Ceri honestly have taken me to a new realm of closeness with God.

“Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” – Ephesians 3:20

Amen!

GOD DEVISES WAYS TO BRING US CLOSER TO HIM EVERY DAY

That’s the message from Ceri that is so true! Like I run to my God tree every day, excited to see all the many ways He would find to reveal His invisible Presence with me. And this morning, He did not, as usual, disappoint me. Every conversation. Every interaction. Every thought we think. GOD KNOWS ALL ABOUT IT!!!!

So, yesterday, I made this comment to my brother, Jason:

“God is correcting me with what you always say (consistency)! Keep the corrections coming, please! DON’T GO EASY ON ME!

I got to the tree at precisely 16 minutes past the hour, so I went to page 16 of our family’s website, and there was an entire post there entitled, of all words: DON’T GO EASY ON ME! No one can tell me that it was some ordinary coincidence that my words to my brother showed up out of 146 web pages. What normal person even talks like that! LOL! It was AGAIN God Himself sweetly making me aware of His invisible Presence that is always with us.

And about this not going easy on me, I feel that’s my assignment from God Himself, baby! I’m His guinea pig whom He takes through some challenges to learn the crucial God perspective for our lives. This showed up in another post on that page:

“Your girl here has become a professional at swallowing some bitter pills and taking emotionally painful punches, but I feel that’s my special role from God (Me a soldier!). To be the glue that’s keeping my family together and, at the same time, show you guys that love can still exist within imperfections. Love is a decision that we can make every day despite whatever has happened in the past, and we do it all for God. Hubby certainly puts up with the crazy God lady here who writes posts sharing all our family drama with the world!”

It’s constantly asking God:

“What is Your perspective here. This relationship. This circumstance. This decision. And how can I enter into it to glorify you.”

Trust me, this is not easy! It’ takes superhuman strength sometimes, but that’s where a relationship with God comes in. God knows what we do not know. He knows the utmost best decision for us in every moment. He sees the hearts of others that we do not see. He designs tests for us to make us better. And when we are weak, we can count on His strength to back us up! It’s just for us to keep our eyes fixed on Him from one moment to the next, seeking His wisdom.

I love a message from Menk that anything that brings us closer to God is a good thing! So, with me in Florida trying to get our business going again, I’m running to God constantly for His help and support, so ultimately I am taking it as a great thing! I feel so close to Him, and I want you here with me! Make sure you take time daily to read or listen to anything that connects you with Him. We need Him!

“God is not fear; He is peace. He is not worry; He is faith. He is not stress; He is trust. Be all that He is, and you will have the spirit of calm that you desire in your life.” -Mottos of Success

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. – 2 Timothy 1:7

YOU GUYS ALREADY THINK I’M CRAZY!

So here goes another one of my God stories! I needed to talk to my husband about something important yesterday, but God told me in my spirit to call him later. When I did speak to him, he started asking me for the price of a new iPhone 15. I said, “Roughly $1,000.” He questioned me repeatedly, and I kept saying, “Hon, like $1,000.” But let me tell you how God showed up.

God has a way of taking our attention where He wants it, and He brought my attention to a paper with a big “$1000” written on it. And because I’ve learned God’s voice so well, I knew this was no coincidence, but God Himself made me aware that He was with me as I discussed that crucial matter with my husband. It was another one of my God winks where things lined too perfectly to be considered an ordinary coincidence. Of all the places for me to be standing to have that conversation with hubby while he kept questioning the price of that phone, for God to take my attention to that paper directly in front of me was God’s way of showing me, such deep love. Not only me but my family.

That was an exceptional conversation with hubby, who gave me such great advice. Thanks, boo! And because God made His Presence known, that meant your girl here had to be on the highest road )no turning into crazy lady) but be the wise, calm, supportive, and loving wife God would have me to be.

Believe it or not, God went as far as to confirm that this was Him because I got to my God tree at 6:43 today, and this showed up on page 43 of our family’s website where something similar happened some years ago:

“To have a healthy and happy family is a HUGE blessing from Him that I’m not taking for granted! His wisdom in every aspect of my life is seriously working. So much so that when He asks me to do difficult things for Him, I just have to say, ‘God, anything for You!’ Like yesterday at the dentist’s office. I used the time waiting for the boys to talk to my husband in Nigeria. Trust me, I had a lot that I wanted to say in that conversation, but God figured out a way to tell me, ‘Nik, SHHHHHH. Be quiet.’ Exactly where I was on the phone, outside in the parking lot, my husband said, “I spoke to your MOM for over one hour. Did she tell you?” Immediately as my husband said “MOM,” God took my eyes to the license plate of a parked car that incredibly had the word “MOM” inside. This was one of my God winks where, once again, everything lined up too perfectly to be some ordinary coincidence. It was God revealing His invisible Presence with me there.

And with one glance at God, I knew what He would have me to do: “MUMS THE WORD, NIK. BE SILENT! To hold back all the words I wanted to say and stay on the high road with Him. ‘Yes, Boss!’ God exceeds my expectations when I stay on the path that He has for my life. Not easy, but when I look back, I can see that God’s ways are always best. He is making your girl stronger, more mature, loving, forgiving, and much more patient. ‘God, how may I honor and glorify you in every moment of my life?’ is my constant prayer.”

As Ceri explains, God is constantly speaking to us and giving us updates throughout the day. Our job is to develop a relationship with Him so we know when He is talking, and we can be obedient to Him and what He would have us do. This is how He guides us to the best lives with Him! Amen! And no matter how far you feel you are off track, God will help you find your way back. No situation is too difficult for Him! Wink! Wink!

“God has wonders and miracles waiting for those who trust Him enough to do what He tells them.” – Mottos For Success

Trust in the Lord with all your heart…
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths. – Proverbs 3:5-6

CAUGHT!

That was me a few minutes ago, by God! Here I am, the God maniac here telling you guys to trust God, and yet all day, my faith in Him has been going up and down. I screamed at myself, saying, ‘What’s wrong with you, Nik!’ Can you believe God found a way to address this issue with me? His love!

So, I had an appointment earlier in the day with my son, Joshie, and I felt God saying in my spirit that I should go to the very next day from where we left off, and look what showed up in our Jesus Calling Daily Devotional For Kids (written as if God is speaking to us):

“In math class, you learn that the shortest distance between two points is a straight line. So let’s pretend that you are at point A and I am at point B. The quickest way for you to get from A to B—to Me—is through the straight line of unwavering trust.

The key is unwavering. It means trusting me constantly, no matter what. Because when your trust wavers—when sometimes you trust Me a lot, other times only a little (here is where He completely caught me, guys, doubting Him today!), and other times you completely forget Me—then your straight line of trust starts to have lots of twists and turns. You can still reach Me—eventually. But you will have wasted a lot of time and gone through a lot of unnecessary trouble. When you realize that your trust has wavered, just whisper, “I trust You, Jesus.” And I will draw you back onto the right path with Me.

Trust in Me with all your heart, and I will make your path straight.”

Amen! Honestly, I had such a great appointment with God by my God tree today, where He again figured out a way to let me know that His Presence is always with me. It was my angel friend/mechanic Jeffrey who came by to help me out yesterday. Because I got to my God tree at exactly 6:23, I went to page 23, where an old post about Jeffrey showed up:

“God is blowing me away with all the love and attention He shows me!!! In every aspect of my life, He is showing up! Like, I called my husband in Nigeria asking for help with a vehicle that we had already sold with a coolant problem. He was busy and didn’t have time for me. Can you believe within the hour, a mechanic friend (Jeffrey!) just happened to stop by and was able to diagnose the problem within minutes? It was the radiator cap!”

It was another one of my God winks where everything lines up too perfectly to be an ordinary coincidence. Out of 146 web pages, for me to go precisely there after spending most of the day with Jeffrey yesterday was all God revealing another glimmer of His invisible Presence with me. Like He was personally saying, ‘I see everything about you, my Nik!’ And His Presence gives me the faith and courage to keep going. I hope you are having your alone times with Him, reading or listening to anything that makes you feel connected to Him! MAKE GOD YOUR TOP PRIORITY AND FOCUS!!!

SORRY YOU GUYS HAVEN’T BEEN HEARING FROM ME SO MUCH LATELY

No more spoilt wife; your girl is working hard these days, getting our business up and going again! I honestly can’t get over God asking me to leave hubby and my sons in Nigeria and that I should come back and unpause our family’s business in the US. This week, a customer thanked me for coming back, and another customer came today looking for a vehicle for his daughter, who is about to graduate from university, and that made me extremely happy. I preach to my team that God is our Partner, so we should show up as if God Himself has asked us to work there. All over our signs are “In God We Trust,” and I have no doubt whatsoever that God is standing strong with us!

God is so involved that it freaks me out! One day, I was having an appointment with God with my son Joshie, and my hubby got in on our conversation from the background, telling me how I make so many mistakes because I don’t listen to him. Even though I said to him that he was a big part of why I lost confidence and had to go to my brothers for strength and courage to keep going, he didn’t care and went into me even more! He did this in front of my 13-year-old son!!! But let me tell you guys how God showed up. The next day, Ceri posted this on his Facebook wall:

“SOMETIMES WE’RE LONGING FOR A FAMILY MEMBER TO BELIEVE IN US AND CHEER US ON OR FOR A FRIEND TO ENCOURAGE US, BUT IT’S JUST THE OPPOSITE (This was precisely me with my husband!!!). There will be people who are close to you who don’t think you can accomplish what God put in your heart. You have to say as Paul did, “So what if they don’t believe? I love them, but I’m going to be deaf to their unbelief.” These are tests we have to pass. You don’t need them to believe in you. Be respectful, but be deaf to their unbelief. The quicker you get rid of it, the better you’ll be. If you dwell on it, it will become a lie that infects your thinking. You can’t play defeat in your mind and have victory. You can’t think sickness and have health. You can’t dwell on thoughts of lack and have abundance. The way you keep the infection out is by dwelling on what God says about you: “You are strong, talented, and valuable. Your future is bright. Your dreams are on the way.”

NOBODY CAN TELL ME THAT WAS A COINCIDENCE! That was God Himself giving me specific instructions on how to deal with the hubby’s constant criticisms: NIK, RESPECTFULLY IGNORE THEM!!! Honestly, seeing that post was such a boost to my confidence, knowing God Himself believes in me and loves me so much to even have this post show up from Ceri. I accept that hubby is my most prominent critic, helping me to tackle weaknesses and to be more business-minded like he is and make me stronger. If I’m to be this fierce businesswoman, I have to toughen up. And my self-esteem should not be from anyone else; that’s why it is called SELF-esteem! Now I’m telling hubby I will be better than him and my brothers in business because I’ve made God my Business Partner! Heehaw!

I hope you are feeling God’s Presence with you, too, and that you are taking the advice of my guy Mufti Menk”

“Your five daily prayers (alone times with God reading or listening to anything spiritual)—work on them. Hold on to them. Become strong on them. And see the miracles in your life.”

Don’t play around with your relationship with God! We walk by faith, not sight, where we expect everything to go better than we can even ask or imagine! Amen!

“OUR CONVERSATIONS ARE SACRED”

That was me to my home’s exterminator, George. Like he just said, “God works in mysterious ways!” When some unwelcomed guests suddenly showed up, I called George that I needed him urgently. As I was talking to him today, I thought of a conversation we had years ago when I told him how we have to love others for their strengths and weaknesses. Fast forward to a few minutes ago, while waiting for something, I said let me have a quick appointment with God, and out of 146 webpages, look what incredibly showed up (that very conversation with George from over a year ago):

GOD GETS IN ON A CONVERSATION

Yesterday, I explained to someone about the ups and downs of marriage and how God must be at the center of every move we make. Being obedient to God is how He guides us on the best paths for our lives. I wrote yesterday about God directing my daughters to these top-notch universities in New York that we have no doubt that they were personally picked for them by God Himself (His love is too much!!). It ain’t always pretty, though, and He does ask us to put up with some difficult stuff at times. Not always about our personal happiness, but just constantly looking to God, asking what would make Him happy. I told them all about my meetings with God under our God tree, and he gives me specific instructions. They left with me asking one crucial question that God asks me often: It’s easy to love someone for their strengths, but can you love someone also for their weaknesses? That’s the true test of marriage!

Fast forward to this morning, I felt God saying to me in my spirit that I should go for my run (Didn’t feel like it today!!) so I could meet with Him under our tree. I got there, and I paused the Nike Running Club app. I had jogged/walked exactly .58 miles, so I decided to go to page 58 of our family’s website. Look what incredibly showed up in the first post there:

“Do you love me enough that I may be weak with you? Everyone loves strength, but do you love me for my weakness? That is the real test.” – Alain de Botton

Is that amazing or what? God figured out a way to let me know that He is intimately involved in every conversation, thought, and word I speak, and our relationships are critical to Him. Is that beautiful or what? No way this lined up so perfectly to be some random coincidence. It was God revealing His invisible Presence with me. And again, these meetings with Him under our tree give me such confidence, courage, peace, joy, love, and approval, knowing God Himself is my Support, Help, Back-up, Strategist, Counselor, Friend, Father, and Protector as I take on my life. And no, I don’t look crazy at all hugging this tree (HUGE SMILE).

This advice about loving people for both strengths and weaknesses goes for all our relationships! We need each other because this life is too hard to do on our own. God gives us the wisdom for every relationship, every circumstance, and every decision. I was telling someone how I went to the Justin Bieber concert without a mask (don’t know what I was thinking!) and ended up sick. Now, I’m trying to get my strength back together. But God has a reason for everything, and in all my weakness, He reminds me that He is my strength. THE GOD PERSPECTIVE CHANGES EVERYTHING!!! May every day bring us closer to Him. Amen!

Today, I’m at work with my sons as we take the family hustle to the next level. No shame in my game! I need God as I bravely take on this challenge not only for my kids but also for my grandkids, great-grandkids, and generations to come. Next year will make 30 years since my husband started this business, and God has stood strong with us. Our motto is “In God We Trust,” and I teach our kids that everything we do should be done to honor God. Not that we get it right all the time, but we show up trying to always give our best.

Julie told me today that I’m her ride-or-die mom. That’s me boo, and wife too!! The boys are totally upset with me right now as I keep finding fault in a car they’re cleaning (if you’re a street cleaner, be the best street cleaner, is what my mom taught me!), but that’s my crucial work from God to be the wife, mom, and person He would have me to be. Our reward is with Him! May we all do everything for the glory of God, especially in our homes. May our lives reflect Him to a watching world.
