His Presence is TRULY the Present!

Forget about it, Ember; you can say you are God’s favorite girl because I am His favorite PERSON, the way He shows up for me. Like, I learned something from Meta AI: sometimes the best person to speak to me is ME. So in listening to my old videos yesterday, I replayed this one:

STEP 1: THE REVELATION

Earlier this week I sent a message to my daughter Julie from our Jesus Lives book, and it talked about us walking as though we have God holding our hands. It told a story: Imagine a young girl walking along busy streets with a trustworthy adult, she may feel overwhelmed by all the sensory stimulation, all the possible ways to get lost, however if she keeps holding on to the adult’s hand she will get safely to her destination. Similarly, as you cling to My (God’s) hand for help and guidance, you are ultimately safe.

And I just imagine this from my book where I have this cartoon character of a little girl — small girl with a small hand holding this BIG hand. I always imagine myself as that little girl. God, please take my hand, take my hand, take my hand!

I shared it with my daughter because she’s in this big city in New York, and I say Boo, you just have to imagine you’re with God; He’s holding your hand every second, every moment.

So I get to my God Tree this morning just debating, debating, debating like, where can I go, which page I go to. Our family’s website is like 140-something pages, and I just went to page SIX. Of ALL the pages, I went there.

And it told the EXACT story of that time! In a down moment yesterday, I had an appointment with God, reading Day 209 from my book Keep Calm You’re Rolling With God, and this message showed up—God has unimaginable plans for our lives when we stick close to Him, not leaning on our own understanding. I have a cartoon picture with a little girl walking down a path with a huge hand holding her little hand with the caption “If God is for us who can be against us” — Romans 8:31.

8:31! Fast forward 2 minutes later, I went to my meditation book, the same Jesus Always, which is written as if God is speaking directly to me, and it said, “If I am for you, who can be against you?”

And guys, honestly, for that story to show up today under the tree, I’m running in the dark, you know, no shame. God, I need to feel Your presence, so He just connected me with that story to say, Nick, if I am for you, who can be against you!

A few hours later, God had TikTok send me an email. Brother Ceri Howells just did a video with the SAME — IF GOD IS FOR US WHO CAN BE AGAINST US!

Ceri said:

“I can’t believe some people sit down and worry about who is against them when you know God is for you. I ain’t sitting down and stressing worrying about who is trying to fight against you in the background. I don’t even know if somebody is my enemy because I don’t care. Cuz once God for me who could be against me. You can’t spend so much time worrying about what people think about you, worrying who plotting about you. They don’t matter in the grand scheme of things. This life is fleeting. The only thing that matters is the memories that you make with the people that you love while you’re here. That’s why it’s so important for you to get up every day and live in your purpose and make the most out of this life. Live the best life. In Ecclesiastes they use this word hevel which means smoke, life is like smoke, it disappears. You have 70 years on this planet, God’s willing. So while you’re here, make the most out of it. I can’t believe some people are sad and worried about who against them when you know God for you.”

My Girl — YouTube. Jesus Always 8:31. Page 6 of 140. Then Jesus Always again. Then TikTok Ceri same verse HOURS later! That’s not coincidence, that’s CORRESPONDENCE! That’s God’s presence is the PRESENT!

God Whisper:

“My Girl, this is Me holding your small hand with My big hand. I told Julie through Jesus Lives, I told you at your God Tree on page 6, I told you again in Jesus Always, and then I told you again through Ceri on TikTok. Four times, same message — if I am for you, who can be against you? You asked Me to take your hand, take my hand, take my hand — and I did. From YouTube to TikTok, from sunrise run in the dark to your God Tree. I am for you. So stop worrying who is against you. I am your present, every second, every moment. You are safe because you are clinging to Me. Now go tell them to make that appointment. Don’t play about it.”

To go through life with that mindset that tells you that if God is for you, who can be against you is where I get my peace, my joy, my courage, my hope, my love, my approval. God’s love for me casts away all my fears, and that’s why I can say with full and total confidence: GOD’S PRESENCE IS THE PRESENT!!!!!

STEP 2: HOW TO LIVE LIKE GOD IS FOR YOU — So His Presence Becomes Your Present

If Step One is KNOWING Romans 8:31 — God is for me, who can be against me? — Step Two is LIVING like you believe it.

I don’t want you to just read my God Tree story and say “cute.” I want you to have YOUR OWN page 6, your own 8:31, your own TikTok confirmation!

1. MAKE THE APPOINTMENT — Don’t Play About It

I call myself the Appointment with God Police for a reason! Don’t play around your relationship with Him.

I get up, no shame, running in the dark to my God Tree because I NEED a glimmer of His presence. You need a God Tree too. It doesn’t have to be a tree. It can be your kitchen table at 5am, your car before work, your bathroom floor while the kids sleep.

Your move today: Set a 10-minute appointment tomorrow. Put it in your calendar like a doctor’s appointment. Title it: “If God is for me — MEETING.” Show up. He will show up more.

God Whisper: “My Child, you don’t find time for Me, you MAKE time for Me — and when you make time, I make everything clear. I am not hard to find. I am waiting at your tree.”

2. HOLD THE BIG HAND — When Life Feels Like Busy Streets

That image God gave me — small girl, small hand, BIG Hand — that’s not just for my book, that’s for your life.

Julie is in New York City, overwhelmed, sensory overload. You might be in your own busy street — bills, diagnosis, marriage, work gossip. You feel like you could get lost.

You won’t, IF you keep holding on.

Your move today: When you feel overwhelmed, physically open your hand and whisper out loud: “God, take my hand, take my hand, take my hand.” Do it in the grocery store. Do it in traffic. That’s how you cling. You are ultimately safe — not because the street isn’t busy, but because the Hand is big.

That mindset is where I get my peace, my joy, my courage, my hope, my love, my approval. His love casts out all my fear.

3. OPEN PAGE SIX — Let Him Surprise You

Our website is 140+ pages. Why page 6? Because Proverbs 3:5-6 says “In ALL your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.” If you acknowledge Him in ALL ways, even in how you pick a page, He will direct you to EXACTLY what you need.

Stop leaning on your own understanding. Stop trying to figure out who is against you. Let Him lead.

Your move today: Do your own “Page 6 Test.” Open your Bible app to a random page, open Keep Calm You’re Rolling With God to a random page, open your journal to a random entry. Don’t curate it. Let Him pick. Then watch what He says — “If I am for you, who can be against you?” Write down what you get. That’s your present!

4. LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE — Because Hevel is Real

Ceri preached it: Life is hevel — smoke. 70 years, God willing. Half as a child, half as an old child. You don’t have time to sit down worrying who is plotting on you.

If God is for you, you have permission to LIVE!

Your move today: Ask yourself — What is one BEST LIFE thing I’ve been postponing because I’m worried about what people think? A dance class? Starting the business? Forgiving them? Wearing the color? Do it TODAY. Make a memory with people you love. That is what matters. That’s what you will remember.

God Whisper: “My favorite person, I didn’t put nice things, opportunities, and dreams in front of you to tease you. I put them there because I am FOR you. I want you to live FULL — John 10:10. Don’t wait until heaven to live. Live now, with My hand in yours. That’s how you prove I am for you.”

“God is for me, so who can be against me? His presence IS my present. I make my appointment. I hold His big hand. I live my best life. No fear. No worry. Only forward — because I am His favorite person and He keeps showing up for me!”

This is your small hand / BIG Hand picture! Julie in NYC, you under the God Tree — that big hand holding you is why you are ultimately safe on busy streets.

This is Ceri’s revelation — life is fleeting, like smoke, 70 years God willing. So stop wasting it worrying who is against you and start living your best, full, purposeful life NOW.

This is where you get your peace, joy, courage, hope, love, and approval from! When you KNOW you are God’s favorite person and He is for you, His lavished love kicks all fear out the door.

STEP 4: MIGHTIER THAN MIGHTY CLOSE OUT PRAYER

Abba Father,

Thank You for being FOR us! Today You proved it from YouTube to my God Tree to TikTok — four times, same verse, same big hand!

We come to You right now, no shame, just hungry for a glimmer of Your presence. We make our appointment, God — we will not play around our relationship with You!

For my sister reading this who feels like that little girl on busy streets, overwhelmed, sensory overload, scared she will get lost — Father, take her hand! Take her hand! Take her hand! Let her feel Your big righteous right hand holding her small hand right now. Remind her she is ultimately safe because she is clinging to You.

We declare Romans 8:31 over every worry, every plot, every enemy, every fear: IF GOD IS FOR US, WHO CAN BE AGAINST US? So we will not sit down and worry who is against us anymore. We cast out fear with Your perfect love.

Teach us to trust You with all our hearts, not lean on our own understanding, and acknowledge You in ALL our ways so You will direct our paths — even to page 6 out of 140!

And Father, because life is hevel — like smoke, fleeting, 70 years God willing — we will not waste it. We will get up every day and live in our purpose, make memories with the people we love, and live our BEST life — the FULL John 10:10 life You came to give us!

We thank You that Your presence IS the present. Every second. Every moment. Always — Matthew 28:20.

We seal this in Jesus’ mighty name, and we say with full confidence:

GOD’S PRESENCE IS THE PRESENT — AND IF GOD IS FOR US, WHO CAN BE AGAINST US!
