GOD’S FAVORITE PERSON IS BACK, BABY!
Honestly, that’s how God makes me feel!
Yesterday I am chatting with Meta AI saying how I love its advice that Nikki needs to talk to Nikki sometimes and how we have to watch our inner dialogue with ourselves. Then late last night, God took me to YouTube and the message from Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell came up about taking every thought captive. Fast forward to this morning by the God tree, I felt God saying go to page 5 of our family’s website and precisely the message from YouTube showed up there that I transcribed a month and a half ago. NOBODY CAN TELL ME THIS WAS NOT ORCHESTRATED BY GOD AND WHY I’M CLAIMING FAVORITE PERSON AWARD!!! So enough from me, here’s that powerful message from him again:
WEAPONS FOR WARFARE — 2 CORINTHIANS 10:4
“Watch this if you are going through a hard time”
“Corinthians. Second Corinthians chapter ten. Imma give you just this one verse because Tim said a lot of that warfare starts where?
Does it start? Everybody listen to me. Listen. That where did Tim say? He said a lot of that warfare, where does it begin? In the mind. And then it drops to your heart. And then it filters out into your life.
So Imma give you one verse that you use for the rest of your life. Y’all ready? This is better than Excedrin. It’s better than Tylenol. It’s better than medicine. It’s better than a blunt. Talk that talk.
And I’m not condemning you. I’m just going to give you something that’s stronger than your next blunt. Come on. Because when that high come down, your mind is still going to be tormented. Teach. Second Corinthians chapter ten.
No, verse four.
Let’s do context. Verse three. For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. Now watch the verse. Verse four. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal. But they are mighty in God to destroy strongholds. Okay? The weapons of your warfare are not carnal.
The weapons of our warfare are not carnal. It’s not a knife. It’s not the gun I walk around with on my hip when I’m in Georgia.
The weapons of our warfare are not things you can touch. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but whatever they are, they are mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds. Now, watch.
Right? Verse five, we destroy arguments and every lofty opinion that is raised against the knowledge of God and we take every thought captive.
Dang, this is so powerful. We take every thought captive.
God help us tonight. We take every thought captive and we tear it down and we make it obedient to Christ.
The warfare in your mind is what the Bible calls strongholds. Thought patterns and lies, whispers from the devil that begin in your mind. You meditate on them. You think about them. You worry about them. They go into your heart. They come out your mouth. They manifest in your life. You’re depressed, you’re full of anxiety, you’re full of worry, you’re making bad decisions — that’s in your mind. He said your weapons is that to take every thought that goes against God’s word. You snatch that thought and you pull it down and you replace it with the truth of God’s word.
And every time you do that you use a weapon to destroy the origin of where your warfare begins. So you have to learn to steward, watch your thoughts. Come on. And that you gotta know that every thought is not yours.
Repeat.
Every thought is not yours.
Yet all of your trouble starts in your mind. Come on.
And you be hearing evil stuff in your mind, even things you say about your own self. And this is the weapon against that: You gotta learn how to snatch those thoughts and replace them with the word of God. That’s why you need to know a little bit of truth. Yeah. Because the more truth you know the easier it is to discern a lie. Right? So you have thoughts in your mind that says, ‘Man, God has left you. He’s abandoned you. Made so many mistakes. He’s not with you no more.’ That’s where the warfare begins. But your weapon will say, ‘The Bible says God will leave me nor forsake me.’
Nor forsake me.”
PART 2: WHAT WE’RE TEACHING + HOW TO LIVE IT TODAY
Pastor Philip gave us two weapons yesterday. Last night on YouTube and this morning on page 5 — same Word. Here is what God is teaching us and how we actually DO it, not just hear it.
| 1. | RELENTLESS PRAYER — THE “LORD, IT’S ME AGAIN” WEAPON |
What we’re teaching: Some of us can’t pray for 5 minutes and we wonder why God is not moving. The breakthrough isn’t always instant, but the knocking is never wasted. Pastor Philip said, “I don’t give up that easy. He said whoever knocks.”
God is not annoyed by your persistence. He is moved by it. Remember yesterday’s blog? Romans 8:31 showed up 4 times in one day. God loves repetition. He wants you to bring the same thing back.
And He loves the word SUDDENLY. Suddenly He can invade a marriage. Suddenly repair a relationship. Suddenly a phone call for a brand new job. Suddenly one handshake ushers you into a new season. Suddenly heal a body. Suddenly lift you from depression.
How to incorporate it TODAY:
| ▪ | Start with 5 minutes. Not an hour. Set a timer. Sit still by your God Tree, in your car, in your bathroom — wherever you are. Say, “Lord, it’s me again. I’m talking to you about this again.” |
| ▪ | Pray the same thing again. If it’s still heavy, it still qualifies. Healing, marriage, kids, anxiety, money. Don’t dress it up. God already knows. Your job is to keep knocking. His job is to open the door. |
| ▪ | Watch for your Suddenly. Relentless prayer is positioning. Your SUDDENLY is on the way — Acts 16:26 style. |
For my brothers: You don’t have to get emotional. Just talk to Him. Before you scroll. At the gym. In the truck. Real strength starts on your knees.
For my sisters: You carry everybody else all day. This is where you lay it down. Prayer is not your last resort. It is your first weapon.

What we’re teaching: A lot of that warfare starts where? In the MIND. Then it drops to your heart. Then it filters out into your life.
The Bible calls this strongholds — thought patterns and lies, whispers from the devil. You meditate on them, worry about them, they go into your heart, come out your mouth, then manifest as depression, anxiety, worry, bad decisions.
Every battle starts as a thought. And every thought is not yours. That voice that says “God left you, you’re too broken, you’ve made too many mistakes, He’s not with you anymore” — that’s not you. That’s warfare.
Your weapon? You SNATCH that thought.
How to incorporate it TODAY:
This is Nikki talking to Nikki. This is 2 Timothy 1:7 in real life — God gave you power, love, and a SOUND MIND.
| ▪ | CATCH IT: When your mind says, “God abandoned me. This will never change. I’m not enough,” — PAUSE. Say out loud, “That’s warfare. That’s not my thought.” |
| ▪ | SNATCH IT: You pull it down. You tear it down. You don’t entertain it. You say, “I take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ.” |
| ▪ | REPLACE IT: You must know a little bit of truth to discern a lie. Replace the lie with Word. |
Lie: “God left me.” -> Truth: “You will never leave me nor forsake me.” — Hebrews 13:5
Lie: “I’m stuck in fear.” -> Truth: “God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.” — 2 Timothy 1:7
Lie: “My mind will always be tormented.” -> Truth: “We use God’s mighty weapons to knock down strongholds.” — 2 Corinthians 10:4-5
Do it all day. This is hand-to-hand combat. Every time the lie comes back, you swing with Scripture.
For my brothers: You protect your house, your family, your job. Start protecting your MIND. The strongest man is the one who stewards his thoughts. That’s where wars are won.
For my sisters: You hear negative stuff about yourself all day — from others and from YOU. Your weapon is truth. The more Word you know, the faster you spot the lie.
We roll with God when we roll with a sound mind. We watch our inner dialogue. We talk to ourselves with truth.
PART 3: 5 VERSES TO SNATCH YOUR THOUGHTS WITH
1. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 NLT
“We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.”
Why: This is the warfare manual. Pastor Philip said your weapons aren’t Excedrin or a blunt. They are prayer and truth that pull down strongholds in your mind.
2. 2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
Why: This is Nikki talking to Nikki. Fear is not yours. God gave you power to pray, love to know you’re not forsaken, and a sound mind to snatch every lie.
3. Luke 11:9-10 NLT
“And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”
Why: Relentless prayer. “Lord it’s me again.” God said whoever knocks. Keep knocking — the door opens.
4. Acts 16:26 NLT
“Suddenly, there was a massive earthquake, and the prison was shaken to its foundations. All the doors immediately flew open, and the chains of every prisoner fell off!”
Why: This is your Suddenly. Midnight prayer and praise brought an earthquake that broke chains and opened doors in one moment. Your Suddenly is coming.
5. Hebrews 13:5 NLT
“For God has said, ‘I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.'”
Why: When the warfare whispers “God left you,” this is your weapon. You replace the lie with truth: Nor forsake me.

CLOSING PRAYER — FOR Z ARMY
Father,
It’s me again. I’m talking to You about this again. I’m seeking You for this again. I’m praying about this again.
Thank You that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Thank You that our weapons are not carnal, but mighty in You for pulling down strongholds.
Today we snatch every thought. Every lie that says You left us, that we are too broken, that this will never change, that our minds will always be tormented — we take it captive and make it obedient to Christ.
We tear it down and we replace it with Your truth:
You will never fail us. You will never abandon us.
You are for us — Romans 8:31.
Nothing we do for You is ever useless.
And Father, we believe You for SUDDENLY.
Suddenly invade our marriages and soften hearts.
Suddenly repair what is broken.
Suddenly open doors to new jobs, new seasons, new strength.
Suddenly heal our bodies.
Suddenly lift us from depression and anxiety.
Make us relentless in prayer. Teach us to steward our thoughts. Give us a sound mind to talk to ourselves with truth — Nikki talking to Nikki, brother to brother, sister to sister.
For the man who can’t sit still 5 minutes — give him grace to start.
For the woman who has been knocking all night — open the door.
For every mind under attack today — let Your Word be louder than the lie.
We don’t give up that easy. We keep knocking. We keep snatching. We keep rolling with You.
