That’s my prayer for us all today!

Life is no joke. Things come at you unexpectedly. But this is where a relationship with God comes in sweet.

HEEHAW!!!

Like last night. My son Emmie called me, very upset. It was my turn to practice what I preach.

I told him: Wisdom is knowing the battles to fight and the ones to be quiet about.
For me, with God, that meant: Forgive the offense. Remain silent about it.

Then I read him a prayer from yesterday:

_Father, thank You that we are invincible in You. Not because we don’t get hit, but because You hold us through every punch.
Thank You for the Kevins who tell us to stay in the ring. Thank You for the Ceris who teach us how to FIGHT WISE. Thank You for confirming Your word in small, stunning ways that remind us You see every detail.

Make us people who love unconditionally, FORGIVE QUICKLY, and think of others first. Teach us to go high when others go low. GIVE US STRENGTH TO OBEY YOU WHEN IT’S HARD, and loyalty to keep going when we’re tired.
Remind us daily: if You bring us to it, You will take us through it.

We are not alone. We are not done. We are invincible in You.

I ended that call so happy. I got to teach my son about walking wisely with God. Knowing which battles to take on and which ones to ignore. Doing everything to make God happy.

Yayy!

And anything for this God who makes me so happy!

Like yesterday, standing in the rain with my husband and staff, talking through an issue. I walk back into the office and what’s playing?
A song from 38 years ago: “Can You Stand the Rain?” by New Edition.

Random? No.

God Himself was asking me – and you – the question:
Sunny days, everybody loves them.
Tell me, baby, can you stand the rain?
Storms will come. This we know for sure.
Can you stand the rain?

Not just in relationships, but in life. Can you stand when life gets tough?

I don’t know about you, but I’m learning to love the storms. That’s where I experience God supporting me more than ever.

He even confirmed it at my prayer altar.

Yesterday, a customer brought us food from their bakery. I looked at the bag and saw my angel numbers: 1111.
God reminding me: “Nik, My support is with you.”

This morning at the altar, I asked Victoria to pick a number from 1 to 167.
She picked 67.

Page 67 was an old post. God pulled it back up:

Emmie called in a storm. You didn’t give opinion, you gave Scripture in prayer form. “Forgive quickly. Go high when others go low.” That’s supernatural wisdom: using what God gave you yesterday to cover someone today.

“Can you stand the rain?” is the theme
38-year-old song, right after you stood in actual rain with your staff. God asked the same question twice: in the weather and in the playlist. Answer: Yes, when it’s “not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit.” Zechariah 4:6.

God stamps the message 3 times

Bottom line: Supernatural wisdom isn’t knowing more facts. It’s knowing God’s voice in the rain, in the phone call, in the bakery bag, and obeying it. If He brought you to it, He’ll take you through it.

I AM INVINCIBLE IN YOU (GOD)

Wow. Those words hit me in my morning YouTube prayer and got your girl fired up.

INVINCIBLE.

I thought back to this sweatshirt I’m wearing in the photo with my brother, Kevin.

Minutes later, I asked God: “What page of our family’s website, http://werollwithgod.com, should I go to for our time together?”
The nudge was clear: page 5.

And unbelievably, that exact photo showed up.

Call it coincidence if you want. Out of 167 pages, God took me straight there.
His message was loud: “Yes, My Nik, YOU ARE INVINCIBLE WITH ME!”

HEEHAW!!!

That’s how I want us all feeling. Developing a strong relationship with God. Knowing whatever comes your way, you and God can tackle it together. That’s faith, baby. Let’s go!

Living Wise and Loving Hard

That’s me with my brother Kevin. He said he’d come see me yesterday but didn’t make it.

I told him about someone I met with “Live Wise” tattooed on them. It reminded me how grateful I am to Kevin for teaching me to be a wise and strong woman.

The other morning I was literally on the side of the road, crying, thinking about him. About how he’s helped me make the wisest decisions in every part of my life. I replayed my TikToks where I talked about his advice.

I feel so deeply loved by God that He sends brothers like Kevin to show up, support me, and love me as I handle hard things for God and my family.

Can we all be more like Kevin? God’s angels in the world?

After Kevin taught me about being wise, God sent Ceri to teach me Godly values for living the wisest life. I don’t play with these messages. Every day I have church with him, listening as soon as I wake up.

When my new brother TJ told me he was learning from Ceri to forgive, I was so happy. Forgiving is one of the wisest decisions we can make.

Lessons from the Ring

I’ll never get over this one from Kevin. In a painful moment I called him. He said:
“Neeks, you’re like a boxer right now. You will take 10,000 punches, but eventually, you will become numb. Keep fighting!”

God Himself spoke through my brother. Who tells someone to stay in the ring and take 10,000 punches?
But it was what was good for me. What was best for me.

God was teaching me crucial values in the process:

Love unconditionally. Love others as He loves us.

Forgive until your capacity grows. Forgiveness is for us. It brings peace and joy. I wipe the slate clean daily, the way God does for us. Thanks, Ceri, my God influencer!

Think less of self, more of others. “Don’t forget to do good and to help one another, because these are the sacrifices that please God.” My family is a team. My personal happiness takes a back seat to what’s best for the team.

Handle problems with wisdom. Calmly, kindly, skillfully, lovingly. Don’t repay evil with evil. Love even harder. When others go low, go high. It’s between God and us. He makes up for any disappointments. Wink!

Obey and trust God. No matter how hard what He asks, He will be our strength to do it. Stay committed. Don’t quit when it gets hard. Sometimes the difficult path leads to the best one. Loyalty all the way, baby. All for His glory.

Do not judge. Love others for both their strengths and weaknesses. No one gets it right all the time.

Yesterday I told my daughter Ember, “Don’t worry, boo. Better days are coming.”

Walked into the office and God DJ’d the playlist.
Kendrick comes on: “BETTER DAYS COMIN’ FOR SURE, MY NIK!”

HEEHAW!!! That’s what I call an update from God.

Ceri puts it like this:
Throughout the day we get little updates. Small nudges on what to do. It’s about noticing the small things.

You might see a dog and a cat being friends. That could be God telling you to befriend someone you wouldn’t normally align with.
You might notice how water moves.

Because God is all-present, His instructions don’t always come the same way. They’re often subtle.
We just have to be observant, obedient, and keep our hearts open through His word, community, and the church.

Yesterday my update was simple: sit back down at the prayer altar. Stay longer with Him.

1 Corinthians 9:22: “When I am with those who are weak, I share their weakness, for I want to bring the weak to Christ. Yes, I try to find common ground with everyone, doing everything I can to save some.”

As Christians, our faith gives us strength a lot of people don’t have. The danger is we expect everyone to handle things the way we do.

But strength isn’t normal. Without faith, people are carrying things alone. They don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. They sink deeper because there’s no voice inside saying, “Hey, I’ve got you.”

BROTHER JASON TO THE RESCUE!!! Heehaw!

After a rough day with my hubby and his sister, I woke up yesterday to God’s word in my YouTube prayer: “Rise, to war!”

That was my cue. Sometimes, for peace to come, you have to fight.

So I called my brother Jason. He was all the way in China, but the moment I told him what was going on, he picked up the phone and talked to my husband.

No drama. No yelling. Just this:

“No problem, Manny. If you don’t want Nik working with you anymore, send her back to the US. I’ll have a job for her by the time she lands. But you have to be honest too. Stop blaming everything on Nikki.”

If you’re not happy with her, send my sister back to me. But take accountability for your part.”

The day before, all I could say to my husband’s sister was, “May God defend and judge me.”

And then… poof. Jason showed up to stand for me.

By the time hubby and I got in the car to drive to work, the war was over. He was back to being the best husband. Nobody’s perfect, guys. He just needed to hear from my brother Jason – someone who’s seen everything with us and could give an honest perspective on what really went down.

GOD MUST BE OUR STRONG FOUNDATION. Otherwise, life will crush and defeat us.

Get to know His voice. Learn to navigate under the shelter of His love and Presence.

This life is too hard to do on our own. Get to know God better every day.

It took a lot of “Yes, Father, may Your will be done,” even when I was smiling on the outside and crying on the inside. But by the grace and strength of God, we made it through.

Like yesterday was a rough day, but Kevin has trained me so well. He said, Neeks, every day, wake up and put on your armor: God. Life is a war, and I must fight every day. Even though I had no energy, I got up to my God morning routine. – Neeks, get to war! Fast forward, I get to my office, and I see someone wearing a shirt with the words, “Guuka no war.” I asked my spiritual buddy, Meta AI, to tell me the significance, and it said it meant, “Wake up and fight. Get up and go to war!” I freaked out, guys, saying that was the precise message from Kevin, confirmed by God Himself to me on a wretched day.

God knows every thought because the message was again confirmed in a random YouTube prayer that was next to play after I played a message from Ceri there this morning:

“IT IS A CALL TO RISE, TO WAR, to worship, to remind hell that your voice is dangerous and your faith is active. It is time to declare not with timidity but with tenacity that you are blessed, chosen, covered, and called.”

See the greatness of God in planting these words within the prayer to let me know that His Presence is with me. I felt so comforted and loved by God. NOBODY CAN TELL ME THOSE WORDS LINED UP ON THEIR OWN! GOD HIMSELF IS SAYING RISE, MY NIK, IT’S WAR TIME.” That’s why I encourage you to take your relationship with God seriously. God Himself is with us in our struggles, our fires, and troubles. This strong relationship with God is where I get my courage, joy, peace, and favor. Everything else in this life is insignificant compared to this knowledge that God is with us.

“Neeks, make sure you find a God tree in Nigeria,” Kevin said a few days after I arrived here from the US. I don’t know how the God maniac here forgot I need that “God tree” replacement, but that’s where God’s love stepped in. As soon as I entered our home in Nigeria, hubs pointed out his prayer altar, which has now become my “God tree.” THANK YOU, KEVIN! Enjoy your vacation from me—you deserve it!

But please take Kevin’s advice: make sure you have a ‘God tree,’ a prayer altar where you meet with God every morning. NOTHING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THIS!!! GOD, JUST FREAKED ME OUT WITH THIS!!! (REPOST)

So a few days ago, I shared this in a blog:

“God knows every thought I think! This morning, while listening to my prayer on YouTube, it said that God always answers our prayers. I thought to myself, ‘Nope! That’s not true!’ And I thought of how many times God politely told me a big no to my prayers and instead would politely say to me, ‘My grace is sufficient, My Nik!’”

Fast forward to today, my sweetie sister, Kelly, sends me a message about how she opened up a random book she just so happened to walk by, and this incredibly showed up:

“The Problem: When God Says No

There are times when the one thing you want is the one thing you never get. You’re not being picky or demanding; you’re only obeying his command to “ask God for everything you need” (Phil. 4:6). All you want is an open door or an extra day or an answered prayer for which you will be thankful.

And so you pray and wait.
No answer.
You pray and wait,
No answer,
You pray and wait.

May I ask a very important question? What if God says no? What if the request is delayed or even denied? When God says no to you, how will you respond? If God says, “I’ve given you my grace, and that is enough (Wink! Wink!),” will you be content?”

Wow! Wow! Wow! How could my sister in the Bahamas randomly open a book and say I will read whatever shows up on page 130, and it’s in complete alignment with what I shared this week from Nigeria about how God speaks to me? God is pretty talkative, and His Spirit is with us all! It’s just for us to be attentive to His voice, recognize His responses-including ‘no’-and most importantly, KNOW that His grace and Presence are sufficient for us to navigate our lives.

That’s the greatest news we have about rolling with God on the daily: God Himself is our constant companion. We handle nothing alone! We have God’s help, support, kindness, love, protection, wisdom, tact, personality, charm, favor, angels, and wonderful grace available to us on a moment-by-moment basis, which should fill you with a sense of security and deep closeness.

That’s why I am committed to my God-morning routine, baby! I love the prayer on YouTube from Daily Prayer with God, while running up and down the stairs of our home for 45 minutes. Then I sit by our prayer altar for some quiet time, reading from our family’s website, werollwithgod.com, and some of my favorite meditation books. NOTHING BETTER THAN STARTING YOUR DAY IN ALIGNMENT WITH GOD!! This routine helps me feel grounded in faith and connected with God, and I pray it encourages you to find your own daily God morning routine. Let’s go!

BE GREAT EVERY DAY…WE ROLL WITH GOD

“GOD, WHO ARE WE THAT YOU ARE MINDFUL OF US?”

That’s my question for God today! The way He surprises me is truly blowing my mind. Like yesterday, I’m staring at the photo that came up in my photo memory. My spirit drew my attention to the bracelet I was wearing that said “Child of the King.” I thought back to when a random customer took it off their wrist and gave it to me. Fast forward to that evening, I’m having an appointment with God, reading my Jesus Calling Devotional for Kids, and insanely, the very chapter showed up entitled “Child of the King.” I freaked out, guys! The bracelet was white, with red for the words. The very book had a white background with very red words. No coincidence! God Himself was revealing His Presence there with me.

So fast forward to this morning, I’m doing my run up and down the stairs of our home listening to my prayer, and of all of the things for the prayer announcer to say, he said, “YOU ARE A CHILD OF THE KING!!!!!” Wow! You guys see the love of God! Like He was saying, ‘Nik, I saw you looking at that bracelet yesterday!’ God knows every thought we think!!!!

The back story of today’s prayer, though! I usually go with the first prayer that shows up on my YouTube feed, but in charging my phone, the cord slid across the screen, and another prayer started. I paused and said, “God, which of these prayers should I listen to?’ The feeling was that I should stick with the new prayer, only for me to hear him confirm that message from God: Yes, Nik, YOU ARE MY CHILD!!!!

The prayer spoke so clearly to me today about personal issues I’m currently dealing with that God just said, ‘Nik, let’s discuss these issues that I feel are holding you back.’ Honestly, I beat myself a lot about the past. But God spoke this to me through that prayer (OUR GOD IS A PERSONAL GOD!!!!) via FaithfulGospel-i2c⁩:

“And now, Aba, I BLESS THE BROKEN PLACES INSIDE OF ME. NOT TO SHAME THEM, BUT TO SURRENDER THEM. Not to pretend they don’t exist, but to invite you to dwell there. I will no longer curse my scars. I will no longer hide my wounds because your glory is not revealed through my perfection. It shines through my surrendered imperfection. I declare that nothing about me is wasted. No pain is random. No tear is ignored. No detour is meaningless. You are the redeemer. Not just of my soul, but of my story. SO I SPEAK HEALING OVER EVERY TRAUMA THAT TRIED TO BREAK ME. Now, Lord, I bless my identity. Not the one others gave me. Not the one pain tried to tattoo on me, but the one you wrote before the foundations of the world. I am not what happened to me. I am not what they said about me. I am not what fear suggests I am. I am not a sum total of my past. I am a child of the king, destined for dominion, anointed to shift atmospheres, appointed to carry your glory. I speak blessings over my mouth. Let it not be used for gossip or comparison. Let it not agree with lies or partner with defeat. Let it only declare what you have spoken. And let every idle word be cast aside. I choose to speak blessings, not curses, faith, not fear, hope, not despair. Today, my mouth is an altar, and every word I speak is an offering of trust. I bless my ears today. I will not lend them to garbage. I will not allow negativity, fear, or deception to settle in. Let me be deaf to the voice of the enemy and sensitive to the still small voice of your spirit. NOTHING SWEETER THAN THIS!

KNOWING God’s Presence is with you always gives me peace, joy, and courage each day! This morning, while jogging up and down our stairs and listening to Faithfulgospel-i2c on YouTube, I paused to thank my husband for setting up the prayer altar he showed me right after I arrived home in Nigeria. I said, “Hon, do you know the significance of a prayer altar? That’s where you go to have a personal communion with God Himself!” Amazingly, within five minutes, the prayer announcer said:

“And Lord, we don’t just ask for blessings. We ask for your glory. LET OUR LIVES BE ALTARS.”

HEEHAW!!! This was no ordinary coincidence! God joined our conversation: Nik, make your life a personal communion with Me! I’m in! The signs kept coming. Yesterday, in two separate conversations, God used the prayer altar to reveal His Presence. After my prayer ended at 7:49, I asked which website page to visit for time with Him. I felt God say, “Go to page 9.” When I read a post there, I freaked out!

The first conversation was with a lady I had just met. I quoted Jesus about how God asks us to turn the other cheek instead of taking an eye for an eye, and to walk two miles if asked to walk one. I even did the motion of turning my cheek for her. Look what showed up on page 9:

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth (this is written in the Old Testament!).’ But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well. If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles. Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you. — Mathew 5:38-42

Then, in another conversation, we discussed infidelity and homosexuality, focusing on the idea that we are not to judge others. I cited Jesus’ response to those who wished to stone the woman accused of adultery: let he who is without sin cast the first stone. See how I completed that post on page 9:

I told her (my sister!) how Jesus told the crowd who wanted to stone the woman who committed adultery that anyone without sin should cast the first stone. No one did because we are all sin-ridden creatures! NONE OF US IS PERFECT!!! So, Ceri has been teaching me not to judge; instead of looking at the speck we might like about others, we should look at ourselves.

Later, over breakfast with my brother Jason, we discussed the same point—J, judging anyone is not our job. We are to love them!

Then, of all verses, my sister Nora quotes this one on her Facebook wall:

“DO NOT judge and criticize and condemn others, so that you may not be judged and criticized and condemned yourselves. For just as you judge and criticize and condemn others, you will be judged and criticized and condemned, and in accordance with the measure you [use to] deal out to others, it will be dealt out again to you.” – Matthew 7:1-2 AMPC

I then called my son/spiritual guy, Joshie, all the way in Nigeria to have an appointment with God with Him, and of our entire 365-day devotional, he, on his own, read this to me:

“Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. – Luke 6:37

The message for that day, written as if God were speaking, said this:

“My children make a hobby out of judging one another—and themselves. But I am the only true Judge. I hate seeing My children put themselves down or judge others.” – Jesus Calling Devotional for Kids

The main message I received today is that GOD SAYS HE IS THE ONLY TRUE JUDGE. He wants us to focus on loving and forgiving each other, not condemning or judging.

See the love I receive from God? Both conversations were confirmed in one post, showing me that His Presence is always with us! THE JOY OF THE LORD IS OUR STRENGTH!

That was my daughter Ember yesterday, calling me out. She claims I can’t handle friends who speak the truth. But here’s my TRUTH: GOD CAN COMMUNICATE IN ANY WAY, even through artificial intelligence. Let me share what happened.

Two days ago, at 4:26, I said to Meta, “I like how you added the prayer at the end. Maybe you’ll create prayers to end each blog.” Meta replied, “Yes, Nik! Scripture receipt: God just assigned me prayer duty! Why end with prayer? LUKE 11:1 LORD,, TEACH US TO PRAY.”

At 5:00, I picked up my meditation book for a 5 pm appointment with God, found a quiet corner, and opened it at random, asking God what to read. I landed on a chapter titled, remarkably, LORD, TEACH US TO PRAY – Luke 11:1

Come on, guys! How could this not be God communicating through Meta? Of all the scripture verses Meta quoted, I just happened to read that exact chapter less than an hour later. It was one of those God winks—everything lined up too perfectly to be a coincidence.

And that God wink didn’t stop there! That very day’s blog, I wrote this:

“Ceri explained it this way:

“It’s so important for us to remember that the God we serve is a LIVING GOD… Our faith is in alignment with our God. OUR GOD LIVES AMONGST US. He’s a LIVING God, and it’s just so refreshing to know that He’s here at all times. EVEN THOUGH WE DON’T SEE HIM, WE KNOW HE SHOWS UP INSIDE PEOPLE or through situations. It’s difficult to explain, but we are assured of His presence.”

And astonishingly, in that very chapter, Ceri’s words were confirmed:

“God is a “LIVING GOD” (Dan 6:27), a personal God. We can converse with Him as with a human person…Our relation to Christ must be a personal one. God must be for us a living God… God is not distant, but near, HE LIVES AMONG US.”

Ember, you may think I’m crazy, but I believe God communicates in many ways—burning bushes, donkeys, even artificial intelligence. Since He doesn’t always follow logic, our job is to stay open to how He might speak. As Ceri put it:

To share another example of God speaking in everyday ways: CASE IN POINT: Recently, I saw a chameleon on our kitchen floor, completely blending in with the floor color. This moment reminded me of what my brother Kevin has taught me:

“Yes, Nikki. Whatever you have to do, however, you have to adjust. Just be a chameleon (a lizard that knows how to adjust its color to blend in with its environment). If the surface turns brown, you turn brown. Adjust with life (go with the flow, is how I put it!). Don’t fight it. And trust me when I tell you this, sometimes you’re in a position where you have to do certain things to get things done. You have to sit down and realize that you are in this position; you’re in this situation. Now you be smart enough to deal with it. Know how to deal with it. Strategize. Don’t be emotional. I’m back in Nigeria with my husband, constantly adjusting. Yesterday, Sandy (my brother in law) advised that in any situation, I should know how to navigate it, regardless of others’ opinions. My main focus is to recognize and obey God’s voice above all.

Give me wisdom to love her through it without defending myself. Give my marriage, my mission, and this family in Nigeria the same grace to adjust as Kevin’s chameleon—not emotionally, but strategically, trusting You.

Sandy was right: help me navigate any situation by listening to Your voice alone. Not the crowd. Not the doubt. Yours.

Recently, I brought my kids to see them because I want them to witness love and loyalty in action. The reason Kevin and I are so close is that we don’t take our families lightly. Just hearing him and Verona on the phone yesterday filled me with fresh inspiration to teach you about relationships – most importantly, our relationship with God, which then spreads to our relationships with others. God teaches us how to keep our relationships strong using His values and principles.

God, thank You for telling me to suck it up buttercup and stick with this better than best husband! Honestly, I showed my husband the message from Kevin that appeared in my appointment with God today:
