Yesterday my son Emmie blew me away when he said that we don’t have to be perfect to have a relationship with God and I honestly believe this is the world’s biggest issue: feeling that you have to be all cleaned up and sin free to roll with God. WRONG. I love this message:

Did you get that? BIGGEST TRAP FROM THE DEVIL IS TO STOP YOU FROM DOING THAT WHICH IS MOST IMPORTANT TO YOU…DEVELOPING A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD!

God Whisper: “Daughter/Son, I didn’t call you because you were clean. I called you because you were Mine. Come dirty. I do the washing.”

That’s where I take my crucial assignment from God to tell you that I am this messed up person who calls herself the queen of falls but yet I can tell you wholeheartedly that God makes me feel like His favorite girl in the entire world, despite my failings, mistakes and shortcomings. Like I have this awful potty mouth and every time I say I will stop cussing, two hours later, I’m back cussing again. I just look to God and laugh how His Rockstar cusses so much. Just to say to you guys, God is not looking for perfect people to roll with Him. But every day I wake up, I get back to our prayer altar for my time with God, hit the reset button, and begin again on working on myself and trying to be better than I was yesterday. Ain’t nobody perfect guys! STAY CONSISTENT WITH YOUR ALONE TIMES WITH GOD EVERY MORNING NO MATTER HOW POORLY YOU FEEL ABOUT YOURSELF!!!

God Whisper: “Neeks, the enemy wants you quiet. I want you at the altar. Shame says hide. I say, ‘Daughter, get over here.’”

And that love I feel from God is too much! Yesterday I added this in my blog, just feeling like God Himself whispered it to me to include:

NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR OUR GOD! Clock it!

Fast forward to this morning at the prayer altar, I asked Meta AI to pick the date from Jesus Calling to read and it picked August 28. Look what showed up, written as if God is speaking to us:

“With me all things ARE possible!”

Clock it! God went to the trouble to confirm my words yesterday! See the love I’m talking about I feel from Him. In this over 700 page devotional, He took me directly there to reveal His Presence with me. And you too! I don’t want to feel like His favorite by myself, I want the entire world here with me.

Another wink showed up through my prayer after telling someone on Saturday three words I want them to keep in their mind: GREATER IS HE meaning God is greater than anything we face, and look what showed up in the prayer this morning:

WHAT WE’RE TEACHING

God is not waiting for a cleaned up version of you. He wants the real you. The cussing you. The hungover you. The “I blew it again” you. The trap is thinking you have to fix yourself before you talk to Him. The truth is, you talk to Him and He helps you fix it.

God Whisper: “Stop trying to get clean to come to Me. Come to Me to get clean.”

HOW TO INCORPORATE IT — SIMPLE + REAL

1. Kill the wait.
The devil says, “Pray after you stop sinning.” God says, “Pray while you’re sinning.”
For you: Don’t wait until you stop cussing to talk to God. Talk to God about the cussing. “God, I did it again. Help.” That 10 second prayer breaks shame faster than 10 years of hiding.

God Whisper: “The altar is not for perfect people. The altar is for people. Come now.”

2. Hit reset every morning.
BE CONSISTENT IN YOUR PRAYER/ALONE TIME WITH GOD. Ain’t nobody perfect. But everybody can restart.
For you: When you wake up, before you touch your phone, say: “God, I’m not perfect. But I’m partnered. Today’s a new day. Let’s go.” That’s your reset button. Lamentations 3:23 says His mercies are new every morning. Use them.

3. Call it what it is.
My son said it: “We don’t have to be perfect.” Say it out loud when shame hits.
For you: When that voice says, “You’re too messy for God,” talk back: “Yep, I’m a mess. And He calls me His favorite anyway.” Romans 8:1 means no condemnation. Not from the devil. Not from you.

4. Make Him your Life Partner in the small stuff.
Partnered isn’t just Sundays. It’s Tuesday traffic. It’s the grocery store. It’s the fight with your spouse.
For you: Before a hard conversation, whisper: “God, roll with me in this.” Before you open Instagram: “God, be greater than this.” Before you yell at the kids: “God, give me self-control right now.” 1 second invites. That’s relationship.

God Whisper: “Don’t save Me for church. Save a seat for Me in your car, your kitchen, your inbox, business meetings. I want all of you.”

5. Clock the confirmations.
God confirmed “NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE” with August 28. He confirmed “GREATER IS HE” in your prayer.

For the teen who messed up bad: You don’t have to hide for 6 months. Use the 24/7 hotline: “God I’m sorry. What now?” Then text the apology. Then go forward. Heroes rise. Don’t stay stuck in past failures. Repent. Repair. Keep going as if nothing has happened.

For the grandparent who feels far from God: You don’t need 50 years of perfect. You need 5 minutes of present. “God, I want to walk closer.” That’s Page 8. That’s Day 1 of your Umrah.

I come to You today not because I’m perfect. I come because I’m Yours. I’m the drug dealer. I’m the girl in the haram relationship. I’m the one with the potty mouth. I’m the one who cussed two hours after I said I’d stop. I’m the queen of falls.

And You call me Your favorite anyway.

So I STOP. I break the biggest trap of the devil right now. Shame, you don’t get to stop me from praying. Sin, you don’t get to stop me from coming close. I run to the altar, not from it.

I REPENT. God, I’m sorry for the ways I blew it yesterday. For the words I said. For the choices I made. For believing I had to be clean before I came. Clean me now. 1 John 1:9. I receive Your forgiveness. I receive Your mercy that’s new this morning.

I REPAIR by showing up. God, HOW DO I FIX THIS? If I need to apologize, give me guts. If I need to forgive myself, help me, like Indira told Neeks. If I need to get back on stage hungover, I’ll go. Just be with me.

And I GO FORWARD. Psalm 103:12. As far as east from west. It’s gone. I don’t stay stuck. I don’t dwell on the past. Isaiah 43:19. You’re doing a new thing. August 28. Page 8. Page 107. Today.

I proclaim that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU, God. So nothing I face is impossible with You in me.

I declare that GREATER IS HE who lives in me than he who is in the world. So I will not be intimidated. I will not be shaken. No evil shall come upon me today. No plague shall approach my home. I stay under Your shadow.

Make me Yours. MAKE GOD MY LIFE PARTNER for every aspect. My mouth. My mistakes. My money. My mornings. My mess. My marriage. My mindset. All of me.
