WALK WITH THE WISE AND BECOME WISE

That was Ceri’s message today in our daily church time together! God is so strategic in the people He places in our lives that I can’t get over Him. Like Ceri taught me that, God can even use a child to speak to us from Him! And I’m genuinely blown away by the wisdom I get from my sweetie pie, Shula, our assistant in our office.
From the first conversations we started having before even meeting her, I was in the US, and she was in Nigeria, and I said, “Call me every day and wake me up!” My spirit was immediately drawn to her. When I was overthinking too much, recently, she sternly said, “You must stop that! Your husband needs your support right now!” I started going to work every day and much earlier in full support hubby mode. Roger that!

Next, she said, “Madam, you need to go back and work on your business in the US!” Honestly, my spirit jumped up like, ‘Yes! Shula is right!’ I had to put our business on hold, but hearing that statement from Shula was like I was hearing it from God Himself! So, now I am back in the US and going to work every day. I am so happy to be of service to President hubby, supporting him in continuing his legacy of 30 years in business, all by the grace of God!

So, that’s my message to you guys! Have good people around and advising you! I’ve assembled an entire team of wise people in my support group! I am so tremendously grateful to them! I can’t stop thanking Ceri for allowing me to share his wisdom recordings with the world! You can find them on our YouTube ‘We Roll With God’ channel. An entire playlist of over 350 recordings. MAKE CERI ONE OF YOUR WISE FRIENDS BY LISTENING TO THESE MESSAGES EVERY DAY!

Walk with the wise and become wise! Make sure you are having your appointments with God! Then, when He speaks to you, you will know His voice! Like when Shula said I needed to come and work on our business here, something just went off inside me, and I knew it was God speaking to me through her! Don’t miss out on the best life with God! We need Him! This life is too hard to do on our own!

WOW! WOW! WOW!

God knows every thought I think! So, I was disappointed that someone was making bad wishes towards me yesterday (You can’t always please all the people! It is what it is!). I sent them a text saying, “May God judge me.” Fast forward I’m rushing to our community gate to catch an Uber and just seeing a text from my daughter saying the vehicle I should expect, I also saw the text from this person, and I said to myself this:

‘I wish them nothing but the best!’

I got in the car and I noticed there was a song playing by Adele so I asked the driver to please turn up the music for me; look at the lyrics Adele sang:

“I wish nothing but the best for you too”

I freaked out!!!! Is that wild or what? I’m talking within 5 minutes of thinking that, I heard those lyrics from Adele! That again was totally and completely orchrestrated by God! See how intimately He is involved in our lives?

Even in an argument with hubby yesterday, God got involved! Hubby felt I was forcing him to go my way with something, and I said to him, “I’m the Vice President at the service of the President! You tell me what you want me to do.” Fast forward with two hours of that conversation, I randomly scrolled through Joel Osteen’s book, asking God for the page He would have me read and look what incredibly showed up:

“Give others the right to have their own opinion. If you’re not going to be happy unless they agree with you, then really, you’re simply trying to manipulate your partner. You’re trying to force your opinion on that person. The better approach is to present your case, share your heart, and then step back and allow God to work in that person or situation.”

Exactly what your girl did! Presented my case to hubs, and now I’m allowing God to do the rest! (Wink! Wink!)

How’s your relationship with God? WE NEED HIM! I’ve appointed myself as the appointment with God ambassador for the world. If you are not having your own quiet times with God, you must get with the program! DON’T MISS OUT ON HIS GUIDANCE AND HIS LOVE!

I love how He is teaching me to be soft (humble, submissive, faithful, gentle, loving, and forgiving), yet rugged – brave, courageous, strong, unflinching, determined, and persistent when I need to be. I’m talking moment-by-moment conversations with God, tapping into His wisdom for every aspect of our lives! (Wink! Wink!) don’t miss out on the best life with God!!!

“GET TO KNOW GOD BETTER EVERY DAY”

That was the title I felt God saying to give my vlog message today. Can you believe He went as far as to confirm it? There is a calendar that I always write about that God speaks to me through, and look at the message that showed up on the opposite side of where it was turned to:

“Take the time to GET TO KNOW GOD (Wink! Wink!), so you don’t miss the meaning of the whole journey of life.”

That’s honestly the best advice I can give you guys, and the message of that vlog was how I felt God communicating with me that I should begin running my 3.11 miles (my 5K) run every day. I felt Him challenging me through my spirit out on my run yesterday, so I stopped, sat on the sidewalk (no, I didn’t look at all crazy), and sent this message to our family group (specifically to my son Emmie!):

“I’m going back to the 3.11 miles a day! Want to leave my comfort zone! You are my accountability coach!”

So, under the God tree today, look at what showed up in an old post from the first time I started doing the 3.11 miles:

“…I had to go back and complete it to the 3.11 mark so that I could report back to my accountability coach/son, Emmie (Wink! Wink!), that the run was completed.”

See how God is so intimately involved in my life, guys to have me go back to THAT post today from the first time I began doing those runs as a challenge to myself with Emmie as my coach! God is aware of everything we do!!!! Like He was saying, ‘Nik, I saw you sending that text to Emmie yesterday! (HUGE SMILE)

Then, last night, Ember put her friend, Samira, on the phone with me, who is an athlete, and I asked her which race she ran. Can you believe she runs the 5K (3.11 mile) of all races? Another God wink!

The run was hard, though. I’m not going to lie to you, but I stuck with it, and when the Nike Running Club app announced that I had made it to my goal of 3.11, I was precisely across the street from the house number “3101!” See how much God loves me? Told ya, I am His fav! That was another glimmer of His presence with me! No coincidence!

This 3.11 has been my beautiful reminder from God for years now that I should “Be still and know that He is God!” Meaning I am not tackling my life alone! Just as He whispered in my spirit to start back up on my 3.11 runs, all day, I am hearing from Him as to what He would have me do in every aspect of my life!

GET TO KNOW GOD BETTER EVERY DAY!!!!

“GO, GO AHEAD, IT’S YOUR TIME, BABY
IT’S YOUR TIME, BABY, GET WILD, BABY

THAT’S THE DIFFERENCE WHEN YOU’RE MY BABY”

Big ups to Burna Boy and this jam that I am loving, ‘Sittin’ On Top Of The World’ that I feel God is singing to me through saying: THAT’S THE DIFFERENCE WHEN YOU’RE MY BABY (Wink! Wink!)! God, I am all Yours, and I want the entire world here with me, feeling Your Presence and knowing Your individual communications with each of us.

Like today, no one can tell me God is not real and not intimately involved in my life! Every day, I share Ceri’s messages, and out of a year and a half of recordings, yesterday I shared the one for 2/11/22, where he shared and explained these verses:

“Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. 13 Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. 14 Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. 15 And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. 16 Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.” – Colossians 3:12-17

So, fast forward to today. There was a glitch that came up on my phone with “10:19” suddenly appearing in the middle of the screen. For my church time with Ceri, I went to that specific message for October 19, 2022, feeling God may have a message for me there. UNBELIEVABLY, CERI SPOKE ABOUT THESE VERY VERSES AGAIN: Colossians 3:12-15!

Nobody can say this was a coincidence! Nobody! Nobody! Nobody! This was entirely, purely, and totally orchestrated by God as another one of His God winks when everything lines up extremely too perfectly. It was God making us all aware of His invisible Presence with us and also, crucially, that these verses are THAT important to Him for us to reflect in our lives.

I pray that this message also brings you peace like it did for me. For God to go as far as to have that glitch on my phone of “10:19” was His deep love for us all. I’m only the God nerd here who He has appointed to share with you how He communicates with us so that we all can discern His voice and what He would have us know on a moment-by-moment basis as we go through our lives intertwined with Him as our loving Partner and Guide! Now dance with us…

‘Go, go ahead, it’s your time, baby
It’s your time, baby, get wild, baby (I’m just tryna be me)
That’s the difference when you’re my baby
That’s how it is when you’re (Sittin’ on top of the world)’

Let’s glorify and enjoy God!!! Peace!

CAN I BRAG ABOUT MY BROTHER, JASON, TODAY?

We don’t talk much, but when we do, it’s always a sacred conversation! Jason was the one who kept insisting that he had a good husband for me, but I kept telling him that I wasn’t interested. I eventually agreed and hubby flew to the Bahamas to meet me. That was 22 years ago! Fast forward to last night, I jokingly asked Jason, “What kind of husband did you find for me?” He wisely said, “Nik, that’s all men!” Dude, you could have at least warned me!!! Hehehehe! But all the joking aside, I genuinely believe Jason found me the best husband and baby daddy! THANK YOU, JASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The funniest thing is that Jason also introduced me to Ceri, who I call my God influencer, who is teaching me how to love others God’s way – unconditionally! Super tough, but Ceri and I have church every day together, where I listen to his recordings in his Bible and Breakfast group, where I go to stalk him. Check out our church time message for today:

“… You got to be kind. It reverts back to what they said Paul said in this verse. He says to make allowance for everyone for each other’s faults and forgive anyone who offends you. When you make allowance for something, you prepare yourself that people will fail you. Ain’t nobody perfect. And even when people mess up, you must give them that Grace.

Remember now, we cannot keep asking God for grace and mercy when we don’t extend His hand to each other. Whatever it is that God gives us, he provides us with the opportunity to reflect that onto our fellow man. Hence, he told us he made us in his own image. What He’s given to us, we have the opportunity to give to other people. Every day we see the love that God has given us. From the moment we woke up and have our eyes open, we now have the opportunity and the ability to Grace others with what God has been so gracious with us. God helped us to wake up to see another day. He shows us love continuously. He is telling us once we wake up, ‘Hey, that’s what I did for you, now go out there and do for others.’ And forgiveness is one of those things.

Remember, it’s something that I always used to preach in here from when I first started preaching in this room. Forgiveness is something that God gave to you. He gave that to you. Forgiveness is for us. Nobody cares if you forgive them or not. Trust me on this one. Nobody cares. The only person to be affected by you not forgiving somebody is you. You’re going to walk around with a spiteful heart. You will walk around with hate in your eyes. You will be having sleepless nights because there’s something this person did to you that has you upset. You think they care? They don’t care because they can continuously run into the same problems over and over. They can keep running into people who either forgive them or who don’t. You think that like they are going to stop at you? Nah. It just doesn’t work that way.

The forgiveness is for us. The forgiveness is for us to just say, ‘Hey, you know I forgive you. You don’t do it because we want God to forgive us. That isn’t just the reason. You have to honestly search deep down inside you and realize that whatever this is, I am bigger than this. I’m not gonna let this consume me. This isn’t a part of me. This isn’t me. This isn’t what I’m going to focus on. I need to focus on the word of God. I need to focus on loving other people. I need to devote my energy to something more important than what it is that this person did to me. And that’s just what it is. So today, let’s remember to go out there with exactly what God asked us to do in these particular verses when He asks us to clothe ourselves today with mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God our Father.”

“THIS IS THE BEST GIFT WE CAN GIVE THE WORLD!”

Honestly, my hubby and kids put up with me with this work I do for God! Thanks, guys! But I see it as the most incredible privilege and honor that God would choose us to represent Him in the world. Like I always say, WE AIN’T PERFECT–FAR FROM IT!!!- but we get to show you that God doesn’t require perfection to roll with Him! His love is unconditional, and He holds our sins and transgressions away from as far as the East is from the West, baby! God is our greatest friend, and He is intimately involved in our lives!

Like yesterday, I was talking to my daughter, Julie. She told me her appointment with God was about this verse:

“Be still and know that I am God.” – Psalm 46:10

You know, I always tell you guys that when I see the number “311,” this is God reminding me of that specific verse. Fast forward to this morning, I go to my God tree, and of all the stories to show up, was this one about the very first time He used this verse to communicate to me about letting Him take care of a situation I had going on with my husband at that time:

“Thank you for your positive influence on our family,” I said to one of those people yesterday. My hubby just handed me the phone to say hello to him, and there is something I’ve been seriously upset about and disagreeing with my husband on that I jumped on the opportunity to mention to this wise and older friend. God has been telling me to BE STILL and leave the battle to Him, so I no longer fight with my husband about it. After explaining to this family friend the situation, in my husband’s presence, he then spoke to my husband on my behalf to please consider what I’ve been saying. He told him what a great wife I am and how he sees our future grandchildren thanking us in our graves for making these crucial decisions that we are making right now on their behalf.

Wow! That conversation blew me away as to God’s deep involvement in my life. I was just at the right place at the right time to speak to this friend who spoke so beautifully to my husband. When I was out walking and venting my frustrations to God last week, He whispered clearly in my spirit, “Be still, Nik, trust Me to handle this matter.” On the way home, I decided to see what God had to say to me on our family’s website based on the minutes past the hour. I went to that specific page, and look what incredibly showed up with God confirming His whisper to me:

“BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD”

Fast forward three years later, God has exceeded anything we could have ever asked for or imagined! Let me tell ya, I say this is our family’s work for God, but honestly, God is seriously at work on behalf of us! Just know that God is always with you, too, and He is working for us in the spiritual realm. He is there to help us in every aspect of our lives if we communicate with Him and seek Him in all our decisions. We don’t have to figure out everything for ourselves. We must learn God’s voice, though, and follow where He is leading us. It is super hard sometimes to obey God, but when we do, this is how He leads us to the best life with Him. I love how that friend put it that our future grandchildren will be thanking us in our graves for our decisions today (Wink! Wink!). I pray we all go to God and make wise decisions, not allowing the devil in our lives and homes to set us on the wrong path. Amen.

GOD MAKES ME FEEL SO LOVED!!!

He figures out all these ways to let me know His Presence is always with me. This God wink started last night when I had a quick dinner and decided to scroll through Instagram. There was a video of Mario singing his song, ‘Let Me Love You.’ Honestly, I watched the video repeatedly because it’s the song God sings to me. So for THAT video to show up in that little short time, I felt it was God all orchestrated to reveal a glimmer of His Presence with me.

Fast forward to this morning, running to my God tree, I was tired, but I told myself, ‘Nik, keep going!’ Fast forward to me getting to my tree; it was 46 minutes past the hour and look what incredibly showed up on the very top of page 46 of our family’s website:

“TODAY, I RAN SIX MILES IN TWO HOURS UP AND DOWN THE STAIRS OF OUR HOUSE!!! (REPOST)

I’m working on a better me, baby! The goal was to get rid of the old Nik and my constant sad and hurtful thoughts and for a happier and more focused person to emerge… I pretty much played one song repeatedly, ‘Let Me Be The One To Love You,’ (William Singe’s version), imagining God singing these lyrics to me:

“You should let Me love you
Let me be the One to
Give you everything you want and need
Ooh, baby good love and protection
Make Me your selection
Show you the way love’s supposed to be
Baby, love you”

See the sweetness of God! To time my run to that tree perfectly so that I can go to page 46 and confirm that that was again Him singing to me yesterday through Mario saying, ‘Yes, my Nik, I want you to let Me be the One to love you!!!’ Awww! God, I will! I will! I want to be so full of Your love that I just want to share your love with others.

The reason I was tired, though, was because I was up working on getting a bid in for a contract. We were missing one mandatory requirement, but I kept telling myself, ‘Nik, just do your best and leave the rest with God.’ Can you believe our assistant called me at 3 am saying we got an extension for the deadline, which got us enough time to get that missing requirement? Again, the sweetness of God, baby! His love and favor follow us when we walk with Him!

See the importance of faith! I could have easily said, ‘Oh, we’re missing this requirement, let’s give up.’ No, no, no! Instead, I said, I don’t know how God will do it, but I will keep moving confidently, knowing He has our back! I might not see a way, but God does! Even a document that I needed to insert our company name into came up to exactly 1,117 words, and I knew right away that it was God letting me know He would help me because whenever I see the numbers 11 and 7 together, it’s God’s little sign to me that He is with me. I didn’t know how He would help, but I felt Him in my Spirit saying, Nik, RELAX, I got you!

How is your relationship with God going? He is available to help us in every aspect of our lives! It’s just for us to invite Him in saying, ‘God, I want a closer walk with You!’ That easy! Then, pausing throughout the day and asking His perspective on every relationship. Every decision. Every circumstance. But you must take time to spend with Him like I do every day running and having my alone times with God where I learn His principles and ways!!! THE BEST LIFE IS A LIFE CLOSE TO GOD!!!!

I loved listening to a great message from Ceri y’all!! He said that life is frustrating, hard, and challenging, but be kind! I was reminded of what Kevin also taught me, ‘Neeks, don’t try to be God, be God’s angel. Let’s keep it kind out there guys, going the extra mile in love, gentleness, patience, goodness, joy, peace, faithfulness, and self-control, glorifying God in all that we do!

“NEEKS, GOD WANTS YOU TO KNOW YOU ARE SECURE IN HIM!”

That was my guru/brother, Kevin, one day under my God tree that I repeated to the world in one of my videos yesterday. Fast forward to that night, in an anxious moment (this life is rough, man!) I went to our family’s website, and because it was after 9 pm, I went to page 9 to read this message from God:

I loved a God wink first thing this morning. Yesterday, I sent Kevin a photo of his words to me that I’ve made my phone’s screensaver:

“Neeks, God wants you to know YOU ARE SECURE IN HIM.”

First thing this morning, I went to page 4 for an appointment with God, and these words were there written as if God was speaking directly to me:

“I want you to realize how UTTERLY secure you are (Wink! Wink!)! Even if you falter as you journey through life, I will never let go of your hand. Knowing that your future is absolutely assured can free you to live abundantly today.” – Jesus Calling

No way, this was a coincidence! It was God speaking directly to me!!! Not just secure, He said, “UTTERLY secure.”

I smiled at God, asking Him, ‘When will your girl here get this message?’ This was after I had such a beautiful day hanging with my brother, Jason, at this beautiful restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. I had a lot to accomplish, but I felt God saying in my spirit, ‘Go and spend some time with your brother!’ I was happy I listened! This brother who introduced me to both my husband and Ceri (my God influencer who is upping my faith in God so much!) is worth me stopping everything and going to see him. Like I tell my daughters (my eldest in the pic with me, Ember!), “Life is a two-way street! Give and take!” To be honest with you guys, I woke up today with a completely different mindset. How can I get this God perspective out even better to the world?

See how God is involved personally in our lives? For Him to say to me, “Go and spend time with your brother!’ To me waking up with a new sense of purpose and joy for my life – I’m on a mission, baby!!

“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” – Isaiah 30:21

Constant conversations with God, guys, is where I want us all! Acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will direct your path! GOD HIMSELF IS PERSONALLY INVOLVED IN OUR LIVES!!!! Wink! Wink!

“DID YOU GET A DIVORCE?”

That was my neighborhood friend, Marcie, close by my God tree today. “I’m not leaving my husband!” I replied! I told her that I had just returned from Nigeria and stopped in New York to see my daughters, who both make us so proud, and that the boys were stepping up as these incredible little men with their dad. I love my family, y’all! I always say, “We ain’t perfect, but we’re pretty close!” Wink! Wink!

I was so happy I got to teach my daughters about loving other’s God’s way. We have to be so full of God’s love that we only have His love to share. So, when the disappointments come, we can keep our hearts and minds focused on God, asking what He would have us do in every moment, knowing He is our strength to help us do His will. These verses have beautifully guided my actions based on my conversations with God in my alone times with Him:

“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.” – 1 Peter 4:8 Ain’t nobody perfect! Just how hubby puts up with me, I put up with him!

“Don’t lose your grip on Love and Loyalty. Tie them around your neck; carve their initials on your heart. Earn a reputation for living well in God’s eyes and the eyes of the people.” – Proverbs 3:3-4 I tell hubby that I am his ride-or-die wifey! Whatever we must go through, we’re going through it together! I think of my sister-in-law Verona’s words to my brother, Kevin, when he threatened to leave her. She said, “You’re not leaving me to raise these kids by myself. Go to the room and get some sleep!” That’s me all the way! Ain’t no breaking up over here!

“But the Spirit produces the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. There is no law that says these things are wrong.” – Galatians 5:22-23. God even has the number 311 showing up all over the place for me, which means He is asking me to stay on the highest road with Him going the extra mile in love, patience, gentleness, and faithfulness. He is our strength in helping us to be the loving people He would have us to be!

And like Ceri always says, God has asked us to do two things: LOVE HIM AND LOVE OTHERS. That love for others goes unconditionally, the same way God loves us!

I take my vows seriously: For better or for worse. In sickness and in health. Until death do us part! I have an essential role taught to me by my other sister-in-law, Aima, to be the glue holding my family together! God is our strength as we live our best lives, all for His glory!

I HAVE ANOTHER MESSENGER FROM GOD!

His name is Joseph, and he is only six years old! As Ceri taught me, God can speak to us through anyone, even a child! So, one day in our office, just about to turn into a crazy lady in one of my videos and say some things I would later regret, I had Joseph read his birthday devotional in my favorite devotional, Jesus Calling. Thank God I did that!! I asked Joselh what he had learned, and he incredibly said, “Don’t listen to the Devil’s voice. Listen to God.” Oh my goodness! That was the perfect message for the crazy lady to go away and instead do what I knew God would have me to do. Praise God! I immediately got back on the high road, loving extravagantly, forgiving endlessly, and allowing God to take control of some of the battles I was trying to fight in my human way. God sweetly reminded me that that battle belonged to Him, and I should not let the devil distract me!

Then, one day Joseph confessed that he didn’t like his name. I read to him from another favorite devotional about Joseph and how it is written in the Bible 5 times that it would say that God stood with him whenever Joseph was in trouble. So, the next day, I asked Joseph what message he had from God for me, and he confidently said, “God stands with you!” Honestly, it made me so happy for that reminder because your girl has a lot on her plate now, but I know without any doubt that God Himself stands with me to help me tackle everything! God is the plate holding everything together! No shame, but I relisten to this message from Ceri every day:

“I feel overwhelmingly grateful to God today and to all the people in my life. I want to speak a blessing over each one of your lives, and I pray that God takes you into higher places, that you continuously keep your heart and mind focused on God, and that you keep him in all your ways.”

Amen!

Let’s block out everything that’s taking us away from our focus on God and what He would have us to do, or not do. What He would have us say, or not say. Where he would have us go, or not go! KEEP GOD IN ALL YOUR WAYS AND LIKE JOSEPH SAID, LISTEN TO GOD’S VOICE AND NOT THE DEVIL’S!
