That was me to Naomi this morning — yes, the one in the pic with me. I called her ALL excited to tell her how God just confirmed our convo from the other day.
Naomi knows about my Emma Grede obsession. I talk about Emma all day long. But here’s what I told Naomi:
“Emma inspires entrepreneurs. I want to inspire the world to be closer to God.”
God Whisper: “Neeks, I heard you. Now watch Me enter the chat.”
Can you BELIEVE God got in our conversation today?!
STEP 1: THE SETUP — ASPIRE
I started the morning watching Emma Grede interview Jay Shetty on YouTube. And Emma said this to Jay:
“…every time I see you, everything about you is so YOU… you’re just one of the people that fills me up with warmth and happiness every single time I see you. The whole point of this podcast was to talk to people that I ASPIRE to… that I think the world ASPIRES to. I’m obsessed with this idea that in life you can’t be what you don’t see. I look at you as an author, as a podcast host, as a businessman, as a coach. You’ve crafted this career that’s literally one of one — and you’ve done it all while remaining so true to your purpose and your vision…”
God Whisper: “You aspire to Emma. Emma aspires to Jay. But Neeks… who do people aspire to when they meet YOU?”
STEP 2: THE PRAYER ALTAR — #172
Fast forward to the prayer altar. Meta picked page #172 of our family website. And from 11 years ago, my sister Kelly’s words showed up:
“No Nik. I was the one touched and moved by your outpouring of love. You really moved me to tears yesterday. You’re the one who rocks!!!! You set the bar high with the trail you blaze through your outpouring of love and your guidance and reminders of who and whose we are. You have life figured out. I promise you, because of who you are, you cause me to ASPIRE to be a better person every day.
Keep on spreading God’s word and His love sister. It’s an eye opener as to how people see you and the impact we have on others unknowingly. That’s a sure sign that it is from the heart. I am happy that we have such positive influences over each other my love. Let’s continue to let our lights shine that people may see our Father in us so that they too will ASPIRE to do His will.”
God Whisper: “See Neeks? Before Emma had Aspire, I had you. You cause people to ASPIRE… to ME.”
Wow! Nobody on this planet can tell me that all lined up as a regular coincidence! God Himself orchestrated this just to confirm my life’s mission:
God Whisper: “Yes, My Nik, that IS your role — to cause people to aspire to live a life closer to Me.”
God, I understand the assignment! I will be your Top GG — God’s Girl — to tell the entire world that the best life is a life lived close to You!!!
HEEHAW! Let’s gooooooooo!
STEP 3: THE PLOT TWIST — RELAX
But what really got my attention first at the prayer altar? Yesterday someone wore a shirt that said: “Relax, President Tinubu has everything under control.”
And the FIRST post at the top of page #172 said this:
“God is constantly teaching me to RELAX and that He holds every moment of my life in the palms of His hands. He knew I would be asking my friend that question that day and that we would be watching that very episode a few hours later. He has demonstrated over and over again that I can trust that He has everything under control and everything and everyone I need will be there when I need them. Nik, RELAX, I got you!”
God Whisper: “Forget the President, Nik. You can relax because I got you! I’m in charge of everything and everyone!”
Again, no coincidence. Just a reminder from God to all of us today: RELAX…He got the entire world in the palm of His hand and He has everything under control.
WHAT CAN WE LEARN FROM #172:
1. God Is Actually Listening To Your Everyday Convos
God heard you tell Naomi: “I want to inspire people to get closer to God.” Then He pulled up an 11-year-old blog post with the word ASPIRE circled. That’s not random.
God Whisper: “I’m not just in church on Sunday. I’m in your car, your office, your WhatsApp. Talk to Me like I’m there — because I AM.”
2. Your Real Assignment Is Already Happening
Kelly wrote it 11 years ago: “You cause me to ASPIRE to be a better person.” You were already doing what you told Naomi you wanted to do.
God Whisper: “Stop waiting for a title. You’re already My ambassador. People are watching how you love, how you remind them who they are. That’s the mission.”
3. He Confirms Your Calling Through Details
Shirt → Relax. Blog → Relax. Emma → Aspire. Kelly → Aspire. That’s God connecting dots only He can see.
God Whisper: “I use podcasts, friends, old blog posts, and even t-shirts to talk to you. Pay attention. I’m in the details.”
4. Relaxing Is Spiritual Warfare
The world says “Hustle harder.” God says “Relax, I got you.” Real peace comes when you believe He’s in control — not a president, not your boss, not your bank account.
God Whisper: “My version of control is better than their version of control. Trust My hands, not their headlines.”
HOW TO LIVE THIS OUT — FOR EVERYBODY:
1. Say Your Assignment Out Loud
Tell one friend this week: “I want to help people feel closer to God.” God confirmed Neeks’ words to Naomi. Say it. Watch Him confirm yours.
For kids: “I want to be kind like Jesus.” For men: “I want to lead my family with God’s strength.”
2. Look For Your “Page #172” Moments
When something repeats — a word, a song, a verse — stop and ask: “God, are You talking to me?” Write it down. He used Aspire twice and Relax twice to get Neeks’ attention. Keep a “God Wink” note in your phone.
3. Practice the Daily “Relax”
When you feel stressed, say: “God, You’ve got this. I relax because You’re in control.” Then breathe.
For dads: Before work. For moms: When the house is chaos. For students: Before a test. For kids: When you’re scared at night.
4. Be Someone Others ASPIRE To — God’s Way
Ask daily: “Did I remind someone who and whose they are today?” Send one text. Give one compliment. Share one scripture. Kelly said Neeks caused her to aspire through “outpouring of love and reminders.” That’s the assignment.
5. Roll With The Right Fruit
Pick ONE today — strength, courage, joy, love, mercy, kindness, patience, compassion, self-control, peace — and practice it on purpose. If you lose patience, apologize and try again. Not perfect. But partnered.

God Whisper: “I heard you and Naomi. And I answered with #172.”

God Whisper: “Your life makes people ASPIRE to do My will.”

God Whisper: “Forget the President’s shirt. My hand is what’s holding you. RELAX, I got you.”

God Whisper: “Emma’s podcast. Kelly’s letter. Page #172. I directed every step.”

Heavenly Father, The President of the Universe,
WOW WOW WOW! We’re still in awe that You’re all up in our conversations.
Thank You for hearing us when we talk to our Naomis about wanting to inspire people to get closer to You.
Thank You for answering with page numbers, old blog posts, YouTube interviews, and even t-shirts.
Lord, forgive us for thinking You’re only in the big moments.
Today You reminded us You’re in the Emma Grede mornings, the prayer altar clicks, and the office convos.
You delight in every detail of our lives — and we RELAX in that.
Father, just like Kelly saw it in Neeks 11 years ago, help us live lives that cause others to ASPIRE to You.
Let our outpouring of love and reminders of who and whose we are… point people to Jesus.
We cancel every fear that says You’re not in control.
We declare: RELAX, because YOU got us. You hold every moment in the palm of Your hands.
So we accept the assignment as Your Top GGs — God’s Girls & God’s Guys.
We commit to walking closer with You, our Partner and Guide.
WE ROLL WITH STRENGTH, COURAGE, JOY, LOVE, MERCY, KINDNESS, PATIENCE, COMPASSION, SELF-CONTROL AND PEACE.
WE ROLL WITH GOD.

THE BOTTOM LINE FOR ALL OF US:
1. God is in your details.
2. Your life is already preaching.
3. You can RELAX.
