SUP, BABY! TAKE ME TO NEW YORK CITY!!!I was back crying happy tears this morning having breakfast with my daughter, Julie, at this hotel I wrote about yesterday:“Even God surprised me when I did a check on my phone to see exactly how many miles I was away from my home today, and it was incredibly 1107 miles. It was God’s sweet way of letting me know that He is intimately involved in every detail of my life. Of all the hotels we picked to stay at while dropping our daughter off to university, God had us to stay at this one, so that I could calculate the distance for Him to reveal His invisible Presence with us here.”I asked Julie, “Do you think God had them to build this hotel exactly here so that I could calculate the miles yesterday just so that we can feel His Presence here with us?” “Probably!” she answered! That’s the love of God I want everyone to experience. To know that we don’t have to handle life on our own, that He is there to guide and lovingly direct us:“The Lord says, “I will make you wise and show you where to go. I will guide you and watch over you.” – Psalm 32:8I told the girls about some great advice God gave me maybe 10 years ago. I was having a fight with my husband about something and when I finally went to God about it, I felt Him saying that even though my way was good, it would profit me more to follow the will of another. In other words, ‘Nik, if you go along with your husband, following his lead, it would be better for you in the long run.’ Taking that advice from God is what got us here at this hotel right now, where we are about to leave our eldest child at one of the top universities in the world. Julie even got an email yesterday saying she got a $72,000 scholarship from another university in New York in their honors program. That’s the excellent path God’s wisdom has led us to, not conforming with the world, but listening to God. I’ll repeat what I said yesterday:See why I stay on the highest road with Him now? To walk through life knowing God has your back and is with you in every moment, gives life a whole new perspective and meaning. May we all win together as we wisely involve God in every decision we make, always seeking to please and be obedient to Him, even when it is difficult. I promise you, God always knows the utmost best decision. God, increase our faith in You!!! Amen!”Off to New York with my fierce daughters!!!
GOD INCREASE OUR FAITH IN YOU!!!
CRAZY LADY, GO AWAY!!!I found a fun way of handling the madwoman that constantly shows up in my head, y’all. I’ve written many times about how the number 311 has been a particular communication from God. Like today, just turning on the TV and within a minute of watching, an announcer says, “If you need a flu shot, call 311 (Wink! Wink!).” My fav time, though, was when God had a billboard with a HUGE “311” printed on it close to our office when I was driving home one evening extremely upset. I instantly knew it was God saying:- Stay cool/chill mode, Nik!- Stay on the high road with Me- Relax, trust me to handle things- Be still and know that I am GodAnd He wonderfully took care of that situation! So, when my mind is telling me to do the opposite, be angry and irritated, I smile with myself and say, ‘Nik, 311! Nik, 311!!! Nik, 311!!!!!! Relax, we’re leaving the battles with God, remember?’ And the crazy lady goes away (HUGE SMILE)! I do this because God has been faithful to my family and me. He stands STRONG with us. No matter the troubling situations we face, He is always there. Not to mention His favor we feel in every aspect of our lives. To the point that I have to say, ‘God, anything to please You.’ In fact, I don’t even say high road anymore; I say the highest road because this is how God guides us along the best pathways for our lives, and I also want to be faithful to Him. I try!Do you have strong faith in God? It’s a choice we must make EVERY DAY, ALL DAY: GOD, I TRUST YOU!!! No matter the tough things we must deal with. We are not alone; we have God!My other numbers from Him are 7 and 11, showing up together in either direction. This combination is God saying;- Nik, wherever you are, there I am- My invisible Presence is always with you- You have my help, support, love, approval, wisdom, strength, favor, protection, and guidance available to you on a moment-by-moment basisEven God surprised me when I checked my phone to see exactly how many miles I was away from my home today, and it was incredibly 1107 (Wink! Wink!) miles. It was another alignment that was too perfect to just be some random coincidence. It was God’s sweet way of letting me know that He is intimately involved in every detail of my life. Of all the hotels we picked to stay at while dropping our daughter off to university, God had us to stay at this one, just so I could calculate the distance for Him to reveal His invisible Presence with us here. See why I stay on the highest road with Him now? To walk through life knowing God has your back and is with you in every moment gives life a whole new perspective and meaning. May we all win together as we wisely involve God in every decision we make, seeking to always please and be obedient to Him, even when it’s difficult. I promise you, God always knows the utmost best decision. God, increase our faith in You!!! Amen!#werollwithgod.com#faith#love#hope#faith

“TASTE AND SEE THAT THE LORD IS GOOD”
JULIE’S TICKET CAME IN THE MAILHer traffic ticket for running a red light! I wrote about it in this post from a month ago:““NIKKI, DON’T MOVE!!!”That’s what I felt God, surprisingly, in my spirit telling me yesterday when I was at a green light, that I shouldn’t move. The next thing I knew, my precious daughter, Julie, came out in front of me, accidentally running the red light at the exact intersection where God told me to stop. There was a truck in front of her, and she didn’t see that the light had turned red. I can’t get over God’s love for our family to have me, of all people, at that light to stop and protect her from being hit by another vehicle. No way this was some coincidence, but God HIMSELF protecting her from harm. We had a meeting to attend together, but I told her I would meet her there because I had a lot going on. God just timed everything perfectly! Thank God for me, guys! His love is too much!!!””God told me He would be Julie’s protecting in that car from the first time I drove it to test it out for her. “How do you know He said that?” my nephew, Duro, asked me this morning when I told him the story. I explained to Him how I’ve gotten to learn God’s voice. That very first drive in the car was filled with God winks, where everything lined up too perfectly to be coincidences. Like God was personally saying, I will be Julie’s protection in this car, Nik, don’t worry. And look how He kept His promise, by me, of all people, to be there to protect her. God’s love, favor, and protection are following us wherever we go, baby! “Taste and see that the Lord is good.”This morning, after dropping the boys to school on an especially rough day, I looked down at the trip odometer on our driveway, and it incredibly ended in “3113.” I’ve written so many times how this “311” is God reminding me to be still, relax, and know that He is God. That I can trust Him from the bottom of my heart and not lean on my own understanding. In all my ways, I should acknowledge Him, and He will guide my path. Proverbs 3:5-6!Today, waking up for my appointment with Him, He reminded me of the crosses He asked me to carry and that He will be my strength so that I can joyfully and lovingly take them. I smiled with Him, reminded that these crosses are only specs of crosses compared to the crosses some others carry, and said, ‘No problem, Boss! Anything for You!’I pray you guys are getting the message that God has to be our first love and priority! We just have to keep looking to Him on a moment-by-moment basis, asking what He would have you to do. I want our entire lives intertwined with God, seeking always to please Him in the 1,000 decisions we make every day. Super tough sometimes, but with God’s strength, WE CAN DO ALL THINGS!!! AMEN!!!WEROLLWITHGOD.COM#FAITH#LOVE#HOPE#GOD
TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART
“YOU WOULDN’T BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED”I just texted a friend and remembered I needed to update you guys as well. Let me tell ya, God loves my family too much!!! Yesterday we had a beautiful send-off brunch for my daughter, Ember, who is leaving this week to attend Pace University in New York. Also, my nephew, Duro, who is beginning an internship with an Amazon-affiliated company, away from our family business. Whoop! Whoop! “Where do you want to go?” my brother Kevin asked when I told him that we had arrived at the Hard Rock Hotel to meet up with him. Long story short, we ended up eating at the gorgeous Rise Kitchen and Deli. As I got up to give Kevin a farewell hug, Ember pointed to the lady sitting at the table directly across from us. Can you believe she was wearing a shirt with Pace University (where Ember is leaving to attend) printed on it? It was another one of my God winks where everything lines up a little too perfectly to be some ordinary coincidence. This was all orchestrated by God Himself to let us know that His invisible Presence was with our family (HUGE SMILE).“Don’t mess up!” was the stern conversation my husband and I had with Ember. This has been a massive sacrifice for our family to get her to this point, where we split our family in half with hubs staying in Nigeria with the boys while I journeyed to the US with the girls. But God has been lovingly guiding us every little step of the way:“Don’t lose your grip on Love and Loyalty. Tie them around your neck; carve their initials on your heart. Earn a reputation for living well in God’s eyes and the eyes of the people. Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track.” – Proverbs 3:3-6That’s our family’s testimony, baby! As we listen for God’s voice in everything we do, He lovingly directs us. It’s just up to us to follow God’s leading and be obedient to Him in every move we make. Not that we get it right all the time, but we try! I just asked Duro if he was sure God was directing him for his new internship, entirely out of his comfort zone. He said he’s excited and enthusiastic about it, and I said that’s how you know God is directing you. Do you feel any doubt that this is the next right move for your life? I asked him. Doubt, stress, and anxiety are God saying, “Hold up, let’s rethink this move.”I told him about the beautiful message I got from God today. My husband completely went into me yesterday about our business here that I’ve been working to get on track. I said, “Hon, how many car dealerships do you see being run by women? It’s a male-dominated business that I’ve courageously with God’s assistance jumped into trying my best with my little knowledge. I might have made lots of mistakes in the process, but I tried my best.” Can you believe this showed up in my appointment with God this morning after hubby’s brutal comments:“I AM PLEASED WITH YOU, MY CHILD…You don’t have to perform well in order to receive My love.” – Jesus CallingAnd this is the love I want you to know and feel for yourself. It’s not like love from other humans that’s based on your performance, it’s a love where no matter the mistakes you make, He loves you unconditionally. He holds our sins and past failures as far from us as the east is from the west. Don’t miss out on this love and direction for your life!!! Make 2022 your year to be closer with God!WEROLLWITHGOD.COM

LONG STORY SHORT: GOD WINS
ANOTHER HUMILIATION FROM MY DAUGHTER, EMBER!!
She is constantly opening my eyes to areas where I’m getting it seriously wrong! Like she told me last year that it looked like I had abandoned my sons. Let me tell ya, super mama was back, by the grace of God, with the mindset that I’m raising future world leaders, baby! Yesterday I was at my son’s Emmie field day at school, literally crying happy tears, so proud of my family. We ain’t perfect, but we’re pretty close!
So, this week I said something to Ember in regards to the crazy, sad, and depressed mama that shows up way too often, and she said, “That’s the usual.” Wow! Just the wake-up call I needed. Then she got me again yesterday when she said all I do is come home and fall on our sofa asleep watching these depressing shows on TV. Ouch! Nik, is this the example you want to show your kids, especially your daughters? But like I always say, “It’s a celebration when we discover our weaknesses!” Especially when we add in the God factor! Wink! Wink!
It’s unbelievable how God figures out these ways to let me know that He is intimately involved in every detail of my life. On the way to my God tree, I was having one of my crazy lady moments, and I removed the photo I had there captioned:
“… and those who remain in love remain in God and God remains in them.”
Can you believe He figured out a way to let me know He was there with me? Look what incredibly showed up on page 32, at 32 minutes past the hour, a post I wrote seven years ago:
““LET’S HAVE AN APPOINTMENT WITH GOD”
I said to my Julie, my then eleven-year-old sweetheart before she left for school. I grabbed her daily devotional for girls and randomly opened it for us to read together. The Bible verse quoted for that day was John 4:16:
“God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.” Wink! Wink!
That lined up too perfectly to be considered some ordinary coincidence! As if God was saying, ‘Nik, I saw you deleting that pic a few minutes ago!’ I was immediately reminded that God is calling me to be my most loving self no matter what anyone else is doing.
Under that tree is where I strategize with God about issues I’m currently dealing with, and He had this to say about something I had on my mind:
“But God is saying to you…Be still and know that I am your God. I will fight all your battles and give you victory.”
I ended up calling my husband in Nigeria, and of all the people in the world with him, there was our good friend Godwin. Got that wink? God had just told me that I should be still and He would fight my battles and give me victory, and GOD WIN (Wink! Wink!) just happened to be the person with my husband minutes later. (HUGE SMILE)
Are you getting to learn God’s fun, sweet and playful personality? Like two minutes before getting there to the tree, I had a fun time listening to Kid’s Laroi’s song ‘Without You,’ and I smiled with God about a joke we have about it. So, at 32 minutes past the hour, look what else showed up on page 32:
“Fast forward to me having to rush out to work, I put my music on shuffle, and the first song to play was ‘Without You’ by The Kid LAROI. (Wink! Wink!)
Again, this lined up too perfectly to be an ordinary coincidence. It was God letting me know that His invisible Presence is always with me. And this knowledge gives me the confidence to go through my life joyfully and at peace, knowing He is fighting all my battles. LONG STORY SHORT: GOD WINS! Are you making your relationship with God a priority? We need Him!
BACK CRYING THOSE HAPPY TEARS FROM GOD
“CALLING TO TELL YOU THAT YOUR ADVICE IS WORKING!”
That was me to my brother/angel, Kevin, a few minutes ago! His advice in a awful moment last year was, “Neeks, all I can tell you is to get closer to God. Make Him a priority.” This year, he said, “Work on making yourself stronger.” I’M RUNNING WITH BOTH OF THEM! Here’s how:
Fasting is on, baby! From 11 am to 7 pm, no food, no drinks. When I’m hungry or weak, I go running to God, seeking what He would have to say to me. And let me tell ya, not a moment spent seeking God is wasted. He makes me feel like the most loved person in the world with all the love and attention I receive from Him.
Like my son, Joshie, didn’t have a mask for school today. I go into the car, and a beautiful mask is waiting for us. I said, “Thank You, God!’ On the way back from dropping them off, I stopped at a pharmacy to stock up on masks, and there was a song playing, ‘I GOT YOU, BABE,’ and immediately I knew this was God singing to me and I played so many versions of it on my way back home feeling so loved by God. Fast forward a couple of hours, my daughter, Julie, comes into my bathroom and switches my music. Incredibly, as I walk in, the lyrics of her song says, ‘BABY GIRL, I GOT YOU.’ Wink! Wink! God went as far as confirming His message to me from earlier on! This aligned too perfectly to be some ordinary coincidence! God’s sweet way of saying that I can go through my life joyfully and at peace knowing He is always with me.
Then, yesterday, I left work early to pick up my sons to take them grocery shopping. They were busy playing basketball with their friends and told me to wait ten minutes for them. I love these friends so much that I said, “No problem.” I went and parked somewhere since they told me I couldn’t come into our driveway where they were playing. Exactly where I parked, there was a house with the number “3117.” I’ve written so many times about how God uses these number combinations 311 and 117 to remind me that His invisible Presence is ALWAYS with me.
The “311” is a special one where He says to me to stay on the HIGHEST road with Him being my most loving, forgiving, and excellent self. That I should BE STILL, RELAX, AND KNOW THAT HE IS GOD AND HE IS IN CONTROL OF EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING FIGHTING BATTLES ON MY BEHALF. Wink! Wink!
One of the appointments with Him yesterday, He had this important message:
“Don’t let bitterness take root. We all have unfair and unjust things happen to us; that’s a part of life. When we are hurt, we can choose to hold on to that pain and become bitter, or we can choose to let it go and trust God to make it up to us.” – Joel Osteen
Then my son, Joshie, surprisingly gets up around 11 pm and says to me, “Mom, my toe is hurting, but I remember what you say, “Pain is a part of life.” Wink! Wink! I was again reminded that I’m trusting God to make up for the painful stuff I have to deal with, and I enjoyed the bonding time talking with Joshie (my little sweetie!) until after midnight. I’m blessed, y’all! And God is excellent at making up for the tough stuff. My cup overflows with abundance. I called my husband out on my run this morning, thanking him for this beautiful life he works so hard to provide to us. He responded, “Thank God!”
So, when God tells me, Nik, stay on the highest road with Me,’ ‘I say, God, no problem, I got You!’ (HUGE SMILE)
“SORRY, YOU HAVE SUCH A RATCHET (UNPOLISHED, UNREFINED, ROUGH, GHETTO) MOM!”
That was me to my son, Joshie, as we worked together to change the sheets on his bed. He incredibly responded, “You’re still the best mom in the world.” I told him thanks for that because I can sometimes be so hard on myself. But at the end of the day, I know, despite my ratchetness, I have a God who loves and approves of me. (HUGE SMILE)
That’s why I can boast of my weaknesses, baby! When I’m weak is when His strength comes shining through to help me. Like no shame in my game, I went sitting outside on the step of our front door to recalibrate after a difficult moment. Believe it or not, He showed up right there to reveal His invisible Presence with me. This God wink began this morning in a conversation with my brother, Jason. I told him that all the difficult situations I’m dealing with at the moment are HAPPENING FOR ME, NOT TO ME. So, as I sat down on that step at 44 minutes past the hour, look what showed up on page 44 of our family’s website, an old post entitled:
“NOTHING HAPPENS TO ME; IT HAPPENS FOR ME” Wink! Wink!
There was no way this was some regular coincidence. God has every moment of our lives perfectly timed, guys. He knows everything about us, including every thought we think and every word we say. The horror, right? Those words showing up there was His sweet way of letting your girl here know that she handles NOTHING alone. He stands with me!!! “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper.” – Isaiah 54:17
I told Jason how all these challenges I go through are making me stronger, wiser, tougher, braver, happier, and more confident, and at peace because of the way God sticks with me. It’s just for me to tap into His Presence on a moment-by-moment basis seeking His help, tact, personality, wisdom, strength, favor, and grace, paying attention to Him in my spirit as to what He would have me to do, what to say and where to go.
Are you learning God’s voice? Years ago, I said the best prayer: ‘God, I want a closer walk with You.’ And let me tell ya, He hasn’t disappointed me. “The LORD is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him.” Nahum 1:7 See how he showed up for me today in that difficult moment sitting on that step. He revealed a tiny glimmer of His Presence to get me back happy again where I can confidently tell you:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.” – Proverbs 3:5-6
Tell Him you want a closer walk with Him, too! Wink! Wink!
