I woke up with God in my spirit nudging me to listen to this Pretty Ricky song, On the Hotline (God cleaned up version!):

And now I’m on the hotline

Said I wanna talk to you, on the hotline
That’s the voice of God I want the world hearing! The Godline is available 24/7 it’s just for us to learn His voice. Here is my daughter Julie today discussing discernment in a TikTok video that I love so much. She calls it discernment — I call it the God Hotline. Same thing, baby!
JULIE’S HOTLINE MOMENT – IN HER WORDS + GOD WHISPERS
My girl is laying in the grass, sun on her face, talking about discernment — and y’all, she was on the God Hotline the whole time!
“Nobody is ever going to have all the answers. I know you’re going to call me woo woo or whatever. But sometimes you can ask for that guidance. Feel that guidance. Whatever you believe in.”
GOD WHISPER: That’s the hotline, baby. Ask and you shall receive guidance. I am that Whatever-you-believe-in — call on Me.
“And sometimes you have to find your way to that guidance. Doing the things that make you feel good. And you’ll get those glimmers just telling you that you’re on the right path. You’re exactly where you need to be.”
GOD WHISPER: Stay on the high road, doing excellent things, and I will give you glimmers — My little winks that say YET you are on the right path.
“It’s so funny, I was practicing yoga the other day, getting grounded, trying to get some sun. And I sat in meditation and I like to feel my way to my intention for the day, not just think about it but feel my way to it. And a word just kind of pops up. And I was thinking about this word that started with D. I was like, decisiveness.”
GOD WHISPER: I nudged you — pause. I have a D-word for you today. Feel for it, don’t force it.
“I couldn’t think of the word and it was bugging me. And I go on my run, and on my run I’m thinking about my mother and just how much she’s done for me and the fact that I wouldn’t be here without her. And I was like, okay after this run I’m going to go call her.”
“I get on the phone with her and she’s like, honey… I just need to tap into my discernment. And I was like YES that’s the word I was thinking about this whole time! Finally you said it! I needed to feel my way to that to have that conversation with her.”
GOD WHISPER: I had your mother keep the word for you. I keep My words in the mouths of those who love you. When you called her, you called My hotline.
“And discernment is kind of finding that judgment from a spiritual place, finding clarity in your decision-making and moving intuitively. It’s not just relying on your mind and your brain; it’s something more within. It’s deeper.”
GOD WHISPER: My daughter, that’s exactly what discernment is — My Spirit judging for you. Not brain, but heart. Not mind, but Me in you.
“And I plop myself down onto this beautiful grass and I’m laying and I hear somebody just talking above me and he says— it’s just you and God. It’s just you and your heart. Keep going. Let’s appreciate those that are doing the work and then right after he’s like, it’s just you and your discernment and I looked up and I’m like, what? Dude, that’s crazy!”
GOD WHISPER: That’s Me talking through the man above you, baby! It’s just you and Me. Keep going. Appreciate those doing the work. It’s just you and your discernment — which is just you and Me.
“You know, like everything needed to line up so perfectly for me to be exactly in this moment right now, soaking in the sun, soaking in everything and feeling so loved and being able to pass on that love to others and appreciation to others and just open up the heart and feel so good.”
GOD WHISPER: I lined it all up — your yoga, your run, your mom’s word, the grass, the sun, the man walking by. All of it to get you to this moment to know you are exactly where you need to be.
“And I encourage you to do the same and just letting you know that you are so loved. And you have so much wisdom and power within yourself. And you don’t need really anything else. But that internal compass. Discernment.”
GOD WHISPER: My compass is in you. My hotline is open 24/7. You are so loved, you have so much wisdom — because I live in you. You don’t need anything else. Stick with Me.
WHAT AM I TEACHING YOU & HOW DO YOU LIVE THIS?
My superheroes, here is the lesson God had me and my baby girl live to teach you today:
WHAT I AM TEACHING:
1. The God Hotline is Open 24/7 — Discernment IS the Hotline.
Julie calls it discernment. I call it the Godline. Same thing! It’s that spiritual judgment that doesn’t come from your brain, but from deep within — your heart where God lives. Pretty Ricky said it at 5 AM — “I’m on the hotline, let’s talk about you and Me.” That’s discernment! God wants to talk to you about you and Him!
2. You have to FEEL your way to it, not just think your way to it.
My girl didn’t think up the word — she felt for it in meditation. God doesn’t always drop answers in your head — He drops them in your heart. You gotta pause, get grounded, and feel for His whisper. Your internal compass is not in your brain; it’s in your spirit.
3. Gratitude unlocks discernment.
Julie couldn’t remember the D-word until she started thinking about her mother. The minute she went to gratitude, clarity came! When you can’t find the word, go to thankfulness. God keeps His words in the mouths of those who love you — Mama had the word waiting.
4. Glimmers are God confirming you are exactly where you need to be.
Julie said when you do things that make you feel good, you get glimmers — little signs you’re on the right path. My glimmer today was Pretty Ricky at 5AM, sun already up at 5:40, 411 backwards in pink hearts. Her glimmer was a man walking by saying “It’s just you and God… you and your discernment. keep going.” That’s not random — that’s God lining everything up!
HOW YOU INCORPORATE IT:
1. Start at 5 AM on the Hotline. Say: “Father, it’s me in the morning, let’s talk about you and me today. What D-word do You have for me?”
2. Get Grounded in Your Grass / God Tree Spot. Take shoes off, lay down, get sun. Ask: “God, what would You have me feel today?”
3. When You Can’t Find the Word, Call Your Mother (Gratitude Call). Stuck? Think of someone who loves you and call them. Thankfulness unlocks discernment.
4. Plop and Listen for the Man Above You. After you move, after you call, plop and LISTEN. God will send a voice — a song, a chalk heart, a stranger. That’s the hotline talking back!
5. Trust Your Internal Compass — You Don’t Need Anything Else. You are so loved. You have so much wisdom and power within because Holy Spirit lives in you!
VERSES THAT CAPTURE THE ESSENCE & WHY:
1. Jeremiah 33:3 – The Hotline Verse
“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”
Why: This IS 5 AM Pretty Ricky! Julie called, you called — God answered with D-words, 411 hearts, sun up early. Hotline is open and He WILL answer!
2. 1 Kings 3:9 – The Discernment Verse
“So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong.”
Why: Julie’s word! Discernment is a discerning heart from God. Solomon asked for it, Julie felt for it — God gave it!
3. Psalm 46:10 – The Grass / God Tree Verse
“Be still, and know that I am God.”
Why: My girl did yoga, got grounded, laid in grass, felt her way. I went to God Tree. You can’t hear hotline while noisy. Be still, then you know!
4. John 16:13 – The Internal Compass Verse
“But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth.”
Why: Julie: “You don’t need anything else but that internal compass.” That compass IS Holy Spirit guiding you! When she heard “it’s just you and God” — that was Spirit of truth!
5. Colossians 3:15 – The Glimmer Verse
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.”
Why: How do you know you’re on right path? Peace rules! Glimmers! Thankfulness! That’s peace ruling — feeling so loved soaking sun!

Thank You for Julie in the grass. You lined everything up so perfectly — yoga, run, gratitude for mother, call, plop in sun, man walking above saying “It’s just you and God… keep going… it’s just you and your discernment.” That was You talking, Papa!
Lord, we say YES to the hotline today! When we don’t have answers, we will CALL You and You will answer! When we need wisdom, we will FEEL for our D-word — give us a discerning heart! When world is noisy, we will be still at God Tree, in grass, and know! When we feel lost, we will trust internal compass — Your Holy Spirit! And we will look for glimmers — let Your peace rule and be thankful!
