That was my son Emmie today!
And I had to laugh. Because he was right to call me out.
I told him, “Mama was tired this morning baby. But more importantly, God gave me an upgrade.”
We don’t just need a 5AM Club. We need a PRAY ALL DAY CLUB!!!
That’s the new mission: Start your day at the prayer altar with God — whatever time is good for you — and then keep that altar going ALL DAY. Talking to Him moment by moment. Step by step.
That’s where your girl is right now and I AM LOVING IT!
God Himself is my Life Partner and my Guide. There is NOTHING better than this relationship.
Like Eddie taught us, the spiritual realm is our residence where anything is possible with God. It’s just for us to stick with Him, asking for His strength, guidance, wisdom, favor, love, and solutions.
And like my daughter Julie taught us, FORGET LOGIC AND HUMAN REASONING WHEN YOU ARE ROLLING WITH GOD. He can do more than we can ever ask or imagine. Clock it.
God Whisper: I didn’t need you at 5AM to prove you love Me. I needed you all day. I want to be your Life Partner, NOT your morning appointment.
And y’all, even though I woke up late, God still found so many ways today to let me know His Presence never left me.
Yesterday in a rough moment I said, “God let me see what You have to say to me” and opened my book, Keep Calm You’re Rolling With God. I felt Him say go to Day 69. Then I went to Day 70 and this showed up:
“The FAITHFULNESS was a big one that day. We’re called by God to be loyal, dependable, and trustworthy, no matter what anyone else is doing.”
Today when I sat by our prayer altar, I felt led to go to page 5 of our family website, werollwithgod.com — and it was THERE AGAIN. Same exact word:
“The FAITHFULNESS was a big one that day. We’re called by God to be loyal, dependable, and trustworthy, no matter what anyone else is doing.”
That’s no coincidence guys! That was God saying: “I saw you yesterday running to your appointment with Me. I am HERE, AND I am teaching you how to live.”
God Whisper: You thought you missed Me because you slept in? I never missed you. I followed you from Day 69 to Day 70 to Page 5. I am still teaching you the same lesson because I am still guiding you on the best path. Faithfulness. Stay loyal to what I show you, even when no one else is doing it. I repay faithfulness greatly.
Then Emmie said, “Mom, I like how you are handling everything.”
Whew. That one hit. Because I’m not just supposed to WRITE the blogs, I have to LIVE them.
And God confirmed it with the verse that showed up today:
“So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you. Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.” – Colossians 3:12-14
God Whisper: Start at the altar downloading My principles, then live them all day. You won’t get it perfect. You will fall. But every morning you get to get up, forgive yourself, forgive others, and begin again. Fall a billion times, get up a billion and one. That’s how you build a relationship with Me.
STEP 2: THE BREAKDOWN — WHAT GOD IS REALLY TEACHING US AND HOW WE LIVE IT
The Big Shift: We are upgrading from a TIME-BASED appointment with God to a LIFESTYLE with God.
What Nikki is Really Teaching:
1. God as Life Partner, Not Morning Ritual: Don’t just visit God. Do life WITH Him. Ask for strength, guidance, wisdom, favor, love, solutions — moment by moment.
2. Our Residence Is The Spiritual Realm: When you roll with God, logic can’t limit you. Stop trying to figure it out down here. Live from up there where exceedingly more than you can ask or imagine lives.
3. Faithfulness Is The Lesson: God repeated the same line two days in a row. He saw you keep the appointment yesterday. Now keep the CHARACTER today. Be loyal to what He shows you when no one else is doing it.
4. We Don’t Just Write It, We Live It: The real test of the prayer altar is how you handle everything OFF the altar.
HOW TO INCORPORATE IT:
1. The Altar Download (Start of Day): Pick YOUR time. 5AM, 6AM, 7AM — whatever you and God arrange. No guilt. Just keep it. Ask: “God, what do You have to say to me today?” Open werollwithgod.com, your Bible, your devotional. Write down ONE principle.
2. The All-Day Conversation (Pray All Day): Turn it into a hotline. Before you text back → “God, what do I say?” Before you decide → “God, what do we NOT do?” Before you move → “God, where do we go?”
FOR THE MEN: You carry heavy decisions — business, family, finances. Your upgrade is not more logic, it’s more listening. Ask for WISDOM before you execute. Your faithfulness in private is what God rewards in public.
FOR THE WOMEN: You hold everyone together and pour out all day. Your upgrade is you don’t have to hold it alone. Put on Colossians 3 every morning like your armor: compassion over comparison, patience over pressure, love over control. God didn’t shame you for waking up late — He met you again on Page 5.
3. The Night Reset: You will not get it right all day. That’s expected. End at the altar: “Father, I forgive them. I forgive me. We begin again tomorrow.” That’s faithfulness too.
STEP 3: 5 VERSES THAT CAPTURE TODAY
1. Colossians 3:12-14 — “Put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience… Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.”
This IS the bloggy. This is what you download at the altar and then LIVE all day. This is how Emmie can say “Mom, I like how you are handling everything.”
2. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 — “Pray continually.”
This is your upgrade from 5AM Club to PRAY ALL DAY Club in two words. Not a morning visit, but a 24/7 hotline.
3. Lamentations 3:22-23 — “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
For the tired mama and for everyone who didn’t get it right today. You get to fall a billion times and get up a billion and one because His mercy resets every morning.
4. Ephesians 3:20 — “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine…”
This is your Julie word: FORGET LOGIC AND HUMAN REASONING. Your residence is the supernatural where anything is possible.
5. Luke 16:10 — “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much…”
This is your Day 69 to Page 5 moment. God saw you keep the small appointment yesterday, so He repeated the lesson today. He repays faithfulness greatly.
OUR PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father,
We come to You first. At our altar. Whatever time we made for You today — thank You for meeting us there. Thank You that when we woke up late, You didn’t leave. You met us again on Page 5.
Today we make the upgrade. You are not just our morning visit, You are our Life Partner and Guide. We want constant conversation with You — asking for Your strength, guidance, wisdom, favor, love, and solutions for every single step.
Forgive us for trying to live this from logic down here. Today we take our residence back up there in the supernatural realm where anything is possible with You.
Father, we ask for FAITHFULNESS. Make us loyal, dependable, and trustworthy even when no one else is doing it. Help us live what we write, live what we preach.
And today we put on Colossians 3 — compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, forgiveness, and LOVE which holds it all together. For every man carrying heavy decisions, give him Your wisdom. For every woman holding her family together, give her Your mercy. For every child watching how we handle everything, let them see You in us.
And when we miss it — because we will — we will not stay down. We will forgive ourselves, forgive others, and get back to the altar. We will fall a billion times and get up a billion and one.
So we declare today:
WE ROLL WITH GOD… WE ROLL WITH STRENGTH, COURAGE, LOVE, PEACE, JOY, FAITHFULNESS, KINDNESS, COMPASSION, HUMILITY AND MERCY.
We roll with God even when we wake up late. We roll with God even when we don’t get it right. We roll with God even when our heart is broken and our eyes are filled with tears. We roll with God no matter what.
