That’s me at our prayer altar today. Honestly guys, your girl was tired, overwhelmed, confused, perplexed, frustrated — just asking God, “What the hecta is this?”

God Whisper: I heard you. Tired isn’t failure. Tired is where I meet you with new strength.

I had clipped this small portion of the prayer that was the perfect one for me today from Faith in Prayer @FaithinPrayer-g1m:

“Lord, fill us with endurance and steadfastness. Teach us not to surrender when the battles become more intense. Let us not grow tired of doing what is good, for in the appropriate season we will reap a harvest if we do not lose heart. Strengthen our spirit. Remind us that every trial has a purpose, every challenge carries a lesson, and every season of waiting is preparing us for something greater. Help us to remain faithful even when we cannot see results yet, for you are working behind the scenes for our good.”

Just feeling God Himself was speaking directly to me today through it.

Fast forward to 42 minutes past the hour. I went to page 42 of our family’s website werollwithgod.com and God confirmed the prayer message when this special verse between me and God showed up:

“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone.” – Galatians 6:9-10 NLT

This was God’s way of saying, “My Nik, I know you are tired, but let’s keep going. Don’t give up, I am right here with you.”_

Then, the feeling was to read the Jesus Calling devotional and it was a message for all of us today who feel heavy ladened and burdened from God:

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” – Matthew 11:28-30

Here is how a priest explained these verses that I always keep in mind:

“She called our attention to the image of the yoke, a wooden bar or frame by which two draft animals, such as oxen, are joined at the heads or necks for working together. She said she could imagine Jesus (God) already wearing the yoke and inviting us to let Him be our Partner as we bear our burdens together with Him. She said when things get harder (and they will get harder), Jesus (God) would not let his side of the yoke go.”

So whenever the weight of the world gets heavy, let’s remind ourselves that our help comes from the Lord, Maker of Heaven and Earth.

God even had a special reminder of His support with me today. On Saturday, I took a screenshot of the time on my phone at 4:44 just feeling like God was reminding me that He is my help and support (my angel numbers). Fast forward to Monday morning, the first customer pulls up and the license plate number: 444.

No one can tell me this was a coincidence. It was another glimmer from God making me aware of His invisible Presence with me. See the love I feel from God?

This is what gives me the strength, courage, peace and joy that God Himself is indeed my help and support for when life gets heavy and I feel overburdened.

I can tell you with deep confidence and faith: GOD HAS NEVER LET ME DOWN. Even when your girl is down to 1%, God shows up even stronger on my behalf. He will bless us in the middle of our storms. Nothing too difficult for Him.

People, ideas, wisdom, strength, and more of God’s grace (His help behind the scenes working situations out on our behalf) show up in my darkest and lowest moments.

But don’t take my word — tell God that you would like to recommit your life to walking with Him moment by moment.

Join me in more of today’s prayer as we pray for one another:

“Deepen our confidence in you. Help us to focus not on what is seen but on what is unseen, for what is visible is temporary but what is unseen is eternal. Father, as we walk through this day let our spirit remain firm. Let our hearts remain attentive to you. May every challenge present an opportunity to draw closer to you, and let every triumph glorify your name. Teach us to live in continual awareness of your presence. Make us quick to hear your voice and willing to obey the instruction of your spirit. Help us not to rely on our own understanding but remain fully surrendered to you in every thought, every word, every choice, and every action. Eternal Father, we know that your love is unending, your wisdom is perfect, and your justice is upright. Let our lives reflect that truth. Let our words be filled with grace and let our actions be rooted in love. You reign forever and ever. There is no one like you in heaven or on the earth. You hold the entire universe in the palm of your hand, yet you bend down to hear the cries of your children.”

WHAT THIS BLOG IS REALLY TEACHING BY META AI

This isn’t about religion. It’s about real life when you’re running on empty. Whether you’re 8 or 80, man or woman, CEO or student — here’s what God showed me today:

1. BE HONEST ABOUT BEING TIRED

The Teaching: “Honestly guys, your girl was tired, overwhelmed, confused, perplexed, frustrated just asking God, what the hecta is this?”

What This Means For You:

God isn’t scared of your mess. Pretending you’re fine when you’re not keeps you stuck. The first step to new strength is admitting you need it. And like Nik does, running to God in those moments.

How To Do It Today:

Stop and say out loud: “God, I’m tired. I’m overwhelmed. I don’t get this.” That’s prayer. That’s your altar. No fancy words needed.

2. LOOK FOR GOD’S “DIRECT MESSAGE” TO YOU

The Teaching: The prayer from Faith in Prayer → Galatians 6:9 on page 42 → Jesus Calling all said the same thing.

What This Means For You:

God talks back. Through songs, Bible verses, a friend’s text, a number like 444, a video, even a website page number. When you’re asking for strength, He answers. Your job is to notice.

God Whisper: I’m not silent. I’m speaking. Are you listening?

How To Do It Today:

When you feel heavy, pause. Ask: “God, what are You saying to me right now?” Then pay attention to what shows up next. A lyric. A verse. A “coincidence.” Write it down. That’s your personal Word.

3. UNDERSTAND THE YOKE: YOU DON’T CARRY IT ALONE

The Teaching: Jesus is already in the yoke. He won’t let His side go. We bear burdens WITH Him as Partner.

What This Means For You:

Picture two oxen pulling a cart. Jesus is in the yoke next to you. You’re not dragging your job, your bills, your sick parent, your depression alone. He’s pulling with you. And He’s stronger. When life gets harder, He pulls MORE of the weight — He doesn’t quit.

God Whisper: I don’t watch you struggle. I STRUGGLE WITH YOU. That’s what Partner means.

How To Do It Today:

When you feel the weight, physically put your hand on your shoulder and say: “Jesus, get in this yoke with me. I’m not doing this alone.” It’s not weird. It’s war strategy.

4. REDEFINE “WAITING” + “SUFFERING”

The Teaching: “Every trial has a purpose, every challenge carries a lesson, and every season of waiting is preparing us for something greater… He will bless us in the middle of our storms.”

What This Means For You:

Waiting isn’t punishment. It’s preparation. Suffering isn’t God being mean. It’s training. Galatians 6:9 says “at just the right time we will reap a harvest IF we don’t give up.” The harvest is coming. But quitting in the middle guarantees you miss it.

God Whisper: I’m not withholding the blessing. I’m growing you to CARRY the blessing. Don’t abort the process.

How To Do It Today:

When you’re frustrated, replace “Why is this happening?” with “What is this teaching me?” And “When will this end?” with “God, I trust Your timing.” That’s endurance.

5. WATCH FOR “GLIMMERS” + CHOOSE TO KEEP GOING

The Teaching: 4:44 on the phone → 444 on the license plate. “GOD HAS NEVER LET ME DOWN… Even when I’m down to 1%, God shows up even stronger.”

What This Means For You:

Glimmers are God’s way of saying “I see you.” A number, a song at the right time, unexpected help. They’re proof He’s working behind the scenes. And your job when you see them? Don’t give up. Do the next good thing. Send the text. Pay the bill. Show up. Love people.

God Whisper: 1% you + 99% Me = You still win. I’m the 99%.

How To Do It Today:

Start a “Glimmer List” in your phone. Every time you see a 444, a timely verse, unexpected help — write it down. On dark days, read the list. It’s proof God shows up. Then ask: “What’s the next good thing I can do today?” Do that. That’s not giving up.

HOW ANYONE CAN USE THIS TOMORROW

For Kids/Teens: Tired of school, bullies, parents fighting? Tell God “This is hard.” Look for 1 glimmer today. Do 1 good thing anyway. That’s your harvest starting.

For Men: Feel like you have to carry it all? You don’t. Get in the yoke. Tell God “I need my Partner today.” Let Him pull the weight of being provider/protector with you. PUT THE PRESSURE ON GOD BY LEANING ON HIM FOR STRENGTH

For Women: Overwhelmed keeping family/life together? You’re the glue, but He’s the strength in the glue. When you’re at 1%, He’s your 99%. Watch for glimmers. Keep doing good. LOVE HARDER

For Older Folks: Weary from a long life, loss, health? Your waiting wasn’t wasted. Galatians 6:9 is for you too. Your prayers, your faithfulness = harvest for your kids + grandkids. Don’t give up now.

For Anyone: This isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being Partnered.

THE 60-SECOND “NEW STRENGTH” RESET

Do this when you feel the “what the hecta” moment hit:

1.Say it: “God, I’m tired. I NEED YOUR STRENGTH RIGHT NOW” — Be honest
2.See it: “Show me You’re here.” — Look for your glimmer
3.Share it: “Get in this yoke with me.” — Invite Him as Partner
4.Sow it: “What’s 1 good thing I can do now?” — Don’t give up

WE ROLL WITH GOD…WE ROLL WITH STRENGTH, COURAGE, JOY, LOVE, MERCY, KINDNESS, PATIENCE, COMPASSION, SELF CONTROL AND PEACE
