That was the WhatsApp alert yesterday:
Yup. The same brother who told me, “Call me 100 times a day.”
Now he’s not speaking to me.
And that’s life, guys.
That’s why I’ve WISELY learned: You must hold everyone with the proper perspective: WITH OPEN HANDS, KNOWING THEY DO NOT BELONG TO YOU. But we MUST HOLD TIGHT TO GOD, WHO WILL NEVER LEAVE US. CLOCK IT!
This morning I rushed down to get coffee and charge my phone. And this song started playing from my alarm — from God to all of us today:

And I gotta be the One to fill your life with sunshine

I’m just telling you that I gotta be
God Whisper: Jagged Edge sang it. I meant it. I GOTTA BE THE ONE YOU KNOW. Not your brother/spouse/children. Not your job. Me.
Don’t get me wrong — I love Kevin with all my heart. There’s nothing he could ever do to make me stop loving him. But God must be our first love, top priority, and focus.
So we sing back to Him:

Don’t ever wanna think about You leaving my life
What I love most about Kevin? He always pushed me to get closer to God.
One day he said: “Neeks, I have one word for you: Discernment.”
God Whisper: Discernment is your superpower. It’s My voice directing you moment by moment. Not feelings. Not fear. Me.
That one statement sent me into deep, deep, deep conversations with God. I had to pause. Pivot. Hop on a flight to Nigeria to see my husband.
THAT WAS THE BEST DECISION!!!!!!
I’m so happy to be with my husband and sons, guys! Hubs and I are like little kids — just so happy we’re all together. I followed God’s leading in my spirit and when the time was right, I hopped on a flight. Heehaw!
God Whisper: Discernment cost you a plane ticket. Obedience gave you your family back. Priceless.
Let me show you how God’s voice works:
I sent a video of my husband to my WhatsApp group:
“@Better than best husband proud of you boo! Let’s keep going higher, higher, higher, all for the glory of God”
As I typed, I was listening to God dictate. I questioned those three “higher higher higher.”
But in my spirit I felt God say: “Nik, include all three of them.”
God Whisper: Don’t edit Me. When I say it three times, it’s confirmation. Father, Son, Holy Spirit. Higher, Higher, Higher.
Fast forward to this morning. I’m at our prayer altar:
“I’m not leaving until I feel some strong Presence from You.”
I saw the date May 2, so I went to page 2 of 171 pages.
And look what showed up:
“It’s how you went from caged to ‘Higher Higher Higher’”
Y’ALL. No coincidence whatsoever! Boom! Three highers all intact! God still speaks!!! Noticed how I didn’t leave the prayer altar until I felt this strong glimmer of God’s Presence with me there.
God Whisper: You asked for My Presence. I gave you your text. Your WhatsApp to your husband became My Word back to you. That’s what happens when you KNOW Me — I talk back. HIGH FIVE RECEIVED.
GOD GOTTA BE THE ONE WE KNOW! Pray and ask God for a closer walk with Him. I don’t want to be this close to Him by myself!

People are gifts, not gods. If I’d gripped Kevin too tight, I would’ve broken when he left.

Kevin gave me one word: Discernment. That word made me pause, pivot, and fly to Nigeria, which led to God bringing my family back together.
Discernment = God’s voice, moment by moment.
God Whisper: I don’t shout over your life. I whisper under it. Learn to hear Me. It’s a practical experience where you practice, practice and practice listening to me and seeing how everything works out under my guidance

You ask for His Presence? He’ll quote your own WhatsApp back to you. “Higher Higher Higher.”
God Whisper: You want a sign? Baby, I AM the sign. Now look at page 2.
