RELAX!!!
THIS A WHOLE LOTTA LOVE; AINāT TRYING TO WASTE IT
Thatās how Iām feeling about God right now! I went out on an extra long run with Him today, and He didnāt disappoint. He showed up. As I played the song, āRACKS in the Middle,ā I turned a bend, there was a truck with the word āRACKā directly in front of me. And that right there was one of my God winks where everything lines up a little bit too perfectly to be some ordinary occurrence (coincident), it was Godās sweet way of saying, āNik, my invisible Presence is always with you.ā There was no way that out of all the songs in the world, I just happened to be listening to this specific one while jogging pass that truck ā all God orchestrated for His girl over here to show me His deep love.
This love is too good for me to keep it to myself, yāall! Are you feeling it? My son, Joshie, has been calling me a lot from Nigeria and Iāve been taking advantage of these sacred times to have appointments with God with him. And the one we had yesterday asked, āWhat do you have that you havenāt received from God?ā Nothing. This son who I get to love up is a gift from Him, as well as the rest of my family. To be able to go out and run today was another gift. Many people didnāt make it to see this day. Iām not taking anything for granted! Iām sucking up Godās love!
I read an email from Joel Osteen about being content in any and every circumstance. Not just enduring, but enjoying. I took it as another wink from God that He wants me ENJOYING my life with Him. Ok, Boss! That goes for us all! Letās be content, rejoicing always in whatever situations we find ourselves with our eyes ever towards the Lord, sucking up His love and seeking His guidance for our lives. Amen.
IāVE DECIDED NOT TO DWELL ON UNPLEASANT THINGS
Thatās after a great morning run with my daughter, Julie, yesterday. She was not in the running mood after not sleeping well but INSISTED on going with me. Thatās my boo! So, we ended up doing a āDonāt Wanna Runā run through the Nike Run Club app, and turns out, Coach Bennet had that run designed especially for ME, not Julie. He said he wanted us to get rid of negativity and gave us two minutes to vent out all our frustrations and things we were unhappy about, and to dump them in the garbage. I started out strong, throwing all my junk that was making me unhappy. But, after like 20 to 30 seconds, I was done. I said to myself, āReally, Nik, thatās all you have to complain about? Wow, sounds like you have a pretty wonderful life to me.What a reality check! I spent the rest of those two minutes thanking God for all my blessings. Nik, you have nothing to complain about! Me and my Jewls had the best time sharing her phone listening to the same music. I returned home a new person, FILLED WITH LOVE AND GRATITUDE FOR MY LIFE. Aināt gots no time to dwell on the unpleasant things! God has been good to me!And this is why I want to share with you all my secrets that Iāve been learning from God. Like this morning, Iām having some fun with Him saying, āMake up Your mind here!ā One moment I feel through my spirit (His voice) saying that I should be deaf, dumb, and blind, then the next He says I shouldnāt, then the next I should! LOL! Now wow, God! Thatās the HOLY SPIRIT I feel always directing me, and I donāt want you missing out. From one moment to the next, the Holy Spirit within each of us gives specific instructions. What God says to you could be completely different as to what He says to me. This is why we must learn His voice for ourselves. Like yesterday, I woke up feeling very agitated, and I asked God what he had to say to me, and this showed up in one of my meditation books:āBut the Spirit produces the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. There is no law that says these things are wrong.āI felt this was God saying to me in that precise moment, āNik, Chill. Be your most loving, gentle, and patient self.ā I said, āOK, Boss.ā Get to know the Holy Spirit for yourself. I promise you, He will guide your life on a gorgeous path, that even when the world is going crazy all around you, you can have peace and joy knowing God got us. Amen. WEROLLWITHGOD.COM

DAY 9 OF MY 50 DAYS OF DISCIPLINEAgain, it was the Holy Spirit I felt nudging me, “Nik start your 50 days of discipline again.” And let me tell ya, that little nudge has been keeping me happy. Having positive things to focus on is my way of keeping the negativity out. Not that the negativity doesn’t have its place, it does. It’s just about using the negativty as fuel to be better. Which is exactly what I’ve done with my 50 days of discipline. Using the negativty life throws my way as motivation to be BETTER. Like my run everyday with God to vent my frustratios to Him is on everyday whether I feel like it or not. And I come back a new and happier version of myself! And you can do the same! Wink! Wink!“Let food be thy medicine!”
āAINāT WORRIED āBOUT NOTHING, MANā
āAINāT WORRIED āBOUT NOTHING, MANāAināt worried ābout nothing! Thatās because God sees me. He figures out the most astonishing ways to show me such DEEP love and concern. He comes and sits with me. Talks to me intimately about situations that are bothering me.Like the other day, I called a friend to say thank you. I had reread an old post about a Saturday, years ago, where I just felt so hurt that I just wanted to hide under the covers and hide from the world. But I pushed myself to go out with the kids to her house and ended up opening Joel Osteenās book and the very chapter I opened to said this: “Donāt let bitterness take root. We all have unfair and unjust things happen to us; thatās a part of life. When we are hurt, we can choose to hold on to that pain and become bitter, or we can choose to let it go and trust God to make it up to us.ā Fast forward to this week, I needed this crucial reminder AGAIN, and I was so grateful to God for connecting me with such a positive friend. I left her house that day so happy, trusting God to make up that disappointment. Minutes after calling to thank her, I ended up reading Joel Osteenās emailed message for the day, and unbelievably it was about this same thing: āLife is too short to go through it with bitterness poisoning your life. If youāll let go of the hurt they inflicted and live out of a place of forgiveness, out of a place of wholeness, youāll not only feel better, but thatās what allows the Creator of the universe to go to work and take you higher.ā There was also a prayer there that meant so much to me: āHelp me to do good and bless those who have done me wrong. I am leaving them in Your hands and believing that You are taking me to new levels.ā Do you see how God stoops down to our level to let us know He is with us. This email was no coincident, it was a direct communication from God to me. Nikki, I see you and what youāve been going through. Leave this matter with me and go on with your life being the happy, joyful, and at peace Nikki I created you to be. Yes, Boss! And let me tell ya, God gives me more than I can ever imagine or expect from Him that my constant prayer is simple: “God, may Your will be done.” WEROLLWITHGOD.COM

This time at home being quarantined is the perfect opportunity for me to work on my discipline game-physically, mentally and spiritually! I’ve set some goals for myself and though I havent stuck with all of them, I keep striving to be the Nik that God Himself would have me to be.
