“THIS IS A MESSAGE FROM GOD TO ME”

That was me to my fantastic son, Emmie, yesterday when I found a piece of paper where he amazingly wrote this:

“Preparation: Our Responsibility

Even in the most difficult battles, in the most ROUGH TERRAIN…the warrior who comes prepared will always defeat the enemy. Preparation is what it takes to succeed.”

I told him how I’ve been going through a lot lately (A ROUGH TERRAIN!) and how my runs every day with God are what mentally prepare me to manfully and bravely take on whatever hard battles that come my way. I’m reminded that I’m not going through life alone and that God Himself is always standing beside me.

Can you believe that less than 30 minutes later, God confirmed that this was indeed a message from Him? I had to peepee (TMI!), and I thought to see what God had to say to me in a 757-page devotional I keep in our bathroom, and this astonishingly showed up, written as if God was speaking directly to me:

“LEARN TO APPRECIATE difficult days. Be stimulated by the challenges you encounter along your way. As you journey through ROUGH TERRAIN (Wink! Wink!) with Me, gain confidence from your knowledge that together we can handle anything.” – Jesus Calling by Sarah Young

No way that could just be an ordinary coincident for me to find those words “ROUGH TERRAIN” written on a piece of paper by my 12-year-old son and for the same “ROUGH TERRAIN” to show up in this huge devotional minutes later. It was indeed God revealing His invisible Presence wherever I go and His DEEP, DEEP love for me.

“what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?”- Psalm 8:4

On the run today with Him, I enjoyed Justin Bieber’s song, Come Around Me, that says, “Let’s not miss out on each other. Let’s get it in expeditiously.” I feel that’s His message to all of us. Let’s not miss out on a life close to God. I don’t know about you, but I’m taking His hand like a little child crossing the street every moment of my life. Especially in the saddest and most difficult of times, as He finds these sweet ways of saying, “I am always with you.”

I’M GETTING MY GROOVE BACK

Sorry I just disappeared on you guys, but I have alot going on right now. In this life we WILL have trouble, but this old post just reminded me that we can hold on to God’s hand to help us get through anything that life throws our way:

“HOW DO YOU MENTALLY DEAL WITH TOUGH SITUATIONS?”
Wow! That was the excellent question from a sweetie pie God has sent into my life! Here’s how:

God is my GREATEST FRIEND EVER! Anything I’m concerned about, He’s concerned about, let me tell ya. And He lovingly finds all sorts of ways to communicate with me (He’s quite talkative once you get to know Him!) Like yesterday, I was feeling seriously anxious about a situation, and when I finally went to Him to talk about it, I ended up balling crying like a little baby. This wink started from Sunday morning when I felt Him say this to me through my meditation book:

“When you were little you wanted someone to take your hand when you crossed the street. Ask me often to take your hand, because you are always little.” – He and I

I loved it so much, I immediately captioned it on this pic from the night before: God, Take Our Hands And Walk With Us. Amen.

Fast forward to the very next day, feeling so overwhelmed and anxious, I continued reading from where I had last left off in another meditation book:

“…My hand that never let’s go of yours.” Wink! Wink!

There I was in that moment saying God I need to hear from You, and He used that prayer of me asking Him to take hold of my hand like a little child crossing the street, and He sweetly says, ‘Nik, I never let your hand go.’ See the love I’m talking about! From one meditation book to a completely different one, He found a way to connect the two and remind me that His intimate Presence is always with me.

That’s what gives me a positive mindset to manly and bravely tackle whatever challenges come my way. I’m counting on God’s help! He continued speaking through Jesus Calling:

“Discuss everything with Me. Take a lighthearted view of trouble, seeing it as a challenge that you and I together can handle. Remember that I am on your side, and I have overcome the world.” Wink! Wink!

There is no situation too difficult for God! Do you have appointments with Him? See how I go from meditation book to meditation book, seeking His face, and He delightfully shows up as if saying, ‘I’m right here, Nik!’

“THE DEVIL WON’T PUT US TO SHAME; WE’RE GOING TO PUT THE DEVIL TO SHAME”

That was me to someone this morning after they were having a challenge with something that wanted to humiliate them. We’re rolling with God! That means we can tap into His knowledge, wisdom, guidance, help, love, and strength 24 hours a day asking, “God, what should I do here?” Then start paying attention to His voice, which could be a strong feeling or a gentle nudge to do something, or an idea that may pop in your head as to what direction to take. “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”

Like today, I was feeling anxious about something. Immediately, when I feel this way, I RUN to God. The feeling from Him was to go and read my own book that I wrote, ‘Keep Calm, You’re Rolling With God.’ I just continued reading from where I had last left off and it was the perfect message:

“Do not give into fear or worry, those robbers of abundant living. Trust Me enough to face problems as they come, rather than trying to anticipate them. Fix your eyes on Me, the Author and Perfector of your faith, and many difficulties on the road ahead will vanish before you reach them. Whenever you start to feel afraid, remember that I am holding you by your right hand. Nothing can separate you from my Presence! For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” – Jesus Calling

And this message was confirmed in my other meditation book that I opened for a brief minute when I needed to grab something from my handbag:

God: “I will go before you and level the mountains” (Isaiah 45:2).”

I was instantly reminded that God is my amazing Helper in every aspect of my life. As I do my best in the physical realm, He lovingly goes ahead of me in the spiritual realm to fight on my behalf. Wink! Wink! This frees me to enjoy His company 24 hours a day as I live holding onto His hands SUPERTIGHT enjoying the sweet life with Him. That’s FAITH, baby! Putting my complete TRUST in God.

“WEIRDEST”

That’s the word from my coffee mug that perfectly describes me! I’m pretty weird, I know, and I love it! I get to do me, being as strange as I want to be in telling you guys about this amazing love and attention I’m receiving from God.

Like on Saturday, I had the difficult job of trying to convince someone God has placed in my life to help out that they needed to go to the hospital’s emergency room. After the entire day of them refusing to go, I sat next to them on their sofa. As someone went out the door, I noticed the apartment number, “407” was my wedding anniversary, April 7. I said this to them as I sat reading articles on Google in regards to their condition and the urgency of the hospital visit. Within 10 minutes, a report on Google that I just happened to read was astonishingly also dated April 7, and I immediately knew it was a God wink, with Him revealing His invisible Presence with us there. I then felt Him saying to me to leave her for that night, and that His Spirit would be there to take care of her. I told her I’d be back to get her in the morning so that we could go then, and she amazingly agreed.

Fast forward the next day, we get to the emergency room, and I kept saying, “I get good vibes here, this feels good. They’re going to figure out what’s going wrong.” I kept saying, “I’m getting good vibes.” Then after they were settled in, I snuck out to go home for a little bit. I met my daughter in the driveway, and she complained of an issue in her car, so I took it for a quick spin. Getting back home, to turn off the car, I noticed her key for the house with the words “Good Vibes” printed on it. Again, that was God letting me know that His invisible Presence was with us.

And I know this seems weird that God would go through all this trouble to have me drive my daughter’s car (BTW, I found nothing wrong with it) just for me to see that key saying, “Good Vibes” after I kept saying it at the hospital, but that’s the love and attention I’m getting from Him. He constantly gives me signs that He’s with me and that I’m on the right track. This gives me such peace and joy knowing I’m not going through life alone, and He is with me. TURNING ROLLING WITH GOD INTO A LIFESTYLE

That’s me, baby! In every aspect of my life, I’m continuously looking to Him for His exceptional guidance, favor, wisdom, help, and love.

Your girl is in work mode now, getting our car sales business here on track again and I’m feeling God’s Presence so intimately. Like the other day, I harassed the person embroidering our uniform shirts to please add a smiley face because whenever I see one, it’s my reminder that God’s invisible Presence is always with me. He told me he would see what he could do and get back to me. But after not hearing back from him, I go to the store (I’m annoyingly persistent!) and met with another lady and apologized for disturbing her, but that I really would like this smiley face added. She probably thought, ‘Weirdo!’ but I didn’t care, I wanted my smiley face!!!

Right after leaving her, I picked up some relatives to help take them somewhere. As I waited in the car for them, I had an appointment with God on Tumblr.com, and He clearly spoke to me there through a post. It was a conversation that morning with a friend where I said to her that my mission from God was to learn these messy love lessons and teach you guys, and a post on Tumblr confirmed it.

When my relatives got back into the car, I enthusiastically asked, “You guys want to go on an adventure with me to pick up my new phone so that I can get back to my video vlogging for God?” They said, “Sure, why not!” So, I immediately asked the GPS on my phone to direct us to the nearest Apple Store. I usually check the routes it suggests first because I don’t like too many traffic lights, preferring highways. But in the excitement of it, I didn’t, and I ended up going through lots of lights and no highway. But can you believe, after all the conversations that day about adding the smiley face to our car sales uniform shirts, we drove by this other car dealership surrounded by a bunch of smiley face flags flying super high in the air? Believe it or not, this was no coincidence. Us driving by this place was all orchestrated by God to reveal His intimate Presence with me. He picked that route from where I had to take my relatives to the Apple Store just so I could get another glimpse of His invisible Presence. No way this lined up so perfectly on it’s own. It was God saying, ‘Nik, I am with You ALWAYS.’ Wink! Wink!

I then get to the Apple store, and exactly where they sat me to transfer my info from my old phone to the new phone was a big block of letters outside incredible reading “LOVE.” Another confirmation of my mission from God-to learn about HIS love and teach you. The videos are back on, baby! TURNING ROLLING WITH GOD INTO A LIFESTYLE. Our hope is in Him!

“WHAT DO YOU SAY TO YOURSELF WHEN YOU GO NEGATIVE?

”Wow! What an excellent question from my Nike Running Club’s Coach Bennet on my morning run with God. Perfect question for the crazy lady over here! In fact, I’m taking this as a question from God Himself because we all can be our own worst enemies when we let these negative thoughts bring us down. Let me tell ya, God has been my GREATEST FRIEND in helping me tackle them. Here’s how:I felt a nudge from Him in one of my low, depressed, thinking too much negative thoughts period to begin again my 50 days of discipline.It’s my way of challenging myself to be BETTER in some weak areas, but I never stick completely with it. I have an important date coming up, and I thought this was precisely what I needed to gear up for it. I grabbed my phone and calculated how many days from that starting point to my big date and unbelievably it was exactly 50 days. I gave God a smile because He already knew that the 50 days would take me directly to that date. I felt it was His Spirit putting that thought in my head – Nik, start your 50 days of discipline again! No doubt whatsoever. And because I KNOW it was Him, where everything lined up too perfectly, that I’ve pretty much stuck with the discipline goals this time. Not entirely, but MOSTLY and some amazing things have happened, y’all.One of the goals was instead of spending 2 hours reading meditation books, I would spend 24 hours with God. And oh my goodness, oh my goodness, oh my goodness. As I’ve seeked Him in the good and bad times, I’ve found Him.Like the other day when I was so determined to buy those dealer supplies. A complete stranger told me to meet him somewhere and the very next day another stranger showed up to buy a vehicle from us with a trade-in purchased from the EXACT place where I met the supply guy from the day before. That lined up EXTREMELY too perfect to be some random happening. It was all orchrestrated by God, revealing His invisible Presence with me – Nik, I’m with you, I’m with you, I’m with you! As I’ve seeked Him, I’ve sweetly found Him.So, when the negative thoughts want to come up, I simply remind myself that I’m rolling with the King of Kings, and He is taking excellent care of me and my family. I think back of all the times God has shown up for us, and I immediately dismiss the negative thoughts saying, “God’s taking care of this for us!’ I then do my best with whatever I feel He would have me to do on my end, and I politely, confidently, and happily turn the heavier parts over to Him. I’m going through my life lightheartedly, having fun with Him in every moment, 24/7, baby! Anything comes up, I know with Him on my side I can tackle ANYTHING. HEALTH MATTERS
EATING GOOD AND FEELING GOODI’m loving this 50 days of discipline where I’m trying to also stay on track with my eating! I’m really feeling strong, healthy and happy! I was on that run today dancing like it was nobody’s business! However, when I cheated and had some take out food the other day, it made me sick the entire night. Lesson learnt! I’m sticking to home cooked food with lots of veggies!“Let food be thy medicine!”
