Yesterday, I couldn’t open my ‘Nook,’ my electronic book reader app on my phone, where I go mostly to hear from God. I deleted it and reinstalled it, but my library of books refused to download. I kept waiting and waiting, but nothing was happening. Then, I panicked when I had an anxious moment after a troubling phone call, and I didn’t know where I would run to so that I could hear from God. I remembered our family’s website, werollwithgod.com, and I looked around and saw the number 20, and quickly I went there to read this:

“Though there are many ups and downs along the way, the overall gradient is upward. Do not expect easy conditions on such a high reaching adventure, but do expect Me to support you all the way to heaven.” – Jesus Calling

Believe it or not, I took this as my high five from God because the words “UPS AND DOWNS” were the words I had just used in a post that morning:

“This is a business we’ve had for 27 years by God’s grace. We’ve been through our UPS AND DOWNS, but with God, we’re still standing.”

Call me crazy, but that was enough for me to feel God’s Presence with me, for those three words to show up on page 20 with Him reminding me that HE IS MY SUPPORT.

But here’s the sweetness of God. Can you believe He went as far as confirming that this was TRULY a message from Him? I was at work, and I decided to delete and reinstall my Nook app again. This time it worked. The first book and the first page I decided to read, look what astonishingly showed up, from exactly where I had last left off:

The very passage I felt Him speak to me through in that anxious moment as if saying, ‘Nik, that was a message from Me to you. (Wink! Wink!) I am here to support you.’

This business is really bringing me closer to God, y’all. I’m away from hubby, having to make crucial decisions in running it, learning to be courageous, and bravely handle situations, and God has constantly been showing up for me. Like with a big challenge I’m facing today, I woke up this morning with the perfect solution from Him. I’m like, ‘Thanks, God! I didn’t think of that!’

I had another special evening with God yesterday watching Justin Bieber (my messenger from God). It was also in the Jesus Calling where He said to me, “I am never too busy. I am always available to help you.” Then a few hours later, Justin sings his song, ‘Available’ confirming God’s message:

‘I’m available. Oh, yes I am. I’m available. Yeah, for you I am… Got My arms wide open.’

He is waiting for you with arms wide open. No matter where you are right now, He’s available. Just how that solution popped into my head this morning, He can help you too with whatever situation you’re facing. Just pray and ask for His help. I promise you a fantastic life with Him despite the ups and downs! (SMILE)

“YOU CAN’T SAY THAT WAS NOT A GOD WINK!”

That was me to my nephew, Duro, yesterday. My sister, Marilyn, and I kept missing each other’s phone calls the entire day, and when we finally connected she said, “We’ve been playing BO PEEP,” at the exact moment Duro and I were driving past a store, ‘BO PEEP (Wink! Wink!) & HATTIE’S GROCERY.’ I’m talking extraordinarily timed and orchestrated by God to reveal His invisible Presence with us. Another one of my God winks where, out of the blue, everything lines up a little bit too perfect to be some ordinary and random occurrence. It was God reminding us of His love and deep involvement in every moment of our lives.

Are you feeling His sweet Presence with you? I’m telling you, this is the sweet life with God where I can wake up every day KNOWING He is on my side helping me with all my struggles and challenges. Helping me to fight battles in the spiritual realm while giving me the wisdom and strategies to take care of situations on my end. He is pretty amazing like that! Solutions will magically pop in my head, and I would know right away its from Him because I’m not that smart. LOL!

I feel so confident in God’s direction and His help with me that I sent my hubby a text message that I want to take over an essential aspect: “What I’m doing with this business is not for you and me. It’s for our grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will be eating from there by God’s grace. I feel God’s Presence strongly with us. Let me show you what I can do with God’s help.” Your girl is Godfident – Confident in God!

This is a business we’ve had for 27 years by God’s grace. We’ve been through our ups and downs but with God, we’re still standing. When we’re weak, fall, or make mistakes, He always shows up to help. Even when it feels like we’re back at ground zero, He says, ‘No problem, little by little and one step at a time, we’ll get things back on track.” We do our best and leave the rest for Him. In God we trust.

“Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good,” is where I want us knowing that God will be our reward when we stay on the high road with Him, doing what He would have us to do. I’m training Duro that in every moment, every example and every experience, that we’re to do the right thing and excellent thing because God is our Boss. I’m so proud to see him up his game in working with us. I’m proud of you, Duro. This business is for you too!!! I told him soon we can open another location for him to run. We’re putting our complete hope in God, KNOWING He doesn’t disappoint when we live lives honoring and pleasing to Him. Amen!

“Hi, God.” That was the cute little conversation I had with my sons as we waited for hubby IN OUR CAR yesterday evening. One asked, “Is God really here? Where is He?” I answered, “God is everywhere, and He is always with us.” “Will God answer us back?” another asked. “Sometimes He does,” I replied. Can you believe God did answer?!? He figured out a way to let me know that His Presence was INDEED with us IN THAT CAR.

Fast forward a few hours, I’m in bed trying to sleep. But because my body clock still has not adjusted to the Nigerian time zone, I couldn’t. I then decided to listen to Rich Roll’s podcast, but for some reason it refused to play. I then go to listen to Bel Air’s Church’s, and boom, it surprisingly worked. However, the one that played, I ended up changing to play another episode. Listen to what the Pastor unbelievably says a couple of minutes into that other sermon:

“We CAN imagine that God is in the same room OR THE SAME CAR WITH US…” Wink! Wink!

Again, for that to line up sooooo perfectly, out of the blue, like that, was no ordinary coincident. It was God revealing His invisible Presence that’s ALWAYS with us. Of all the podcasts I could have listened to, for Rich Roll’s one to refuse to play, and for me to listen to THAT specific one after my sons wanted to know if God was really in that vehicle, was another one of my God winks, with Him sweetly answering, “Yes, I was there IN THAT CAR WITH YOU.”

And this is the love I’ve gotten to KNOW from God. He stoops down and comes to our level and our little lives to let us know that He’s REALLY there. Right after that, I smiled with Him, and I drifted happily off to sleep.

Are you getting to know God’s voice and His communications with you? You see that smile on my face in this pic? No fake smile over here! This is the smile of someone with REAL joy who KNOWS she’s incredibly loved by her God/Heavenly Father. I USED to be STARVING for the love and affection from others. No more! His joy. His love. His peace. EQUALS MORE THAN ENOUGH. God, fill our lives with even more of Your Presence. Amen.

MARRIAGE AND SINGLE MATTERS

“GOD LOVES US MOSTEST”

That was me to my sweetie sister, Marilyn. We have these playful arguments about who loves who the most and this one statement we both agreed on. I think that’s my latest calling from Him. To share with you guys that He’s not this harsh, judgmental, and angry God who is mad at us. It’s the reverse, He is madly in LOVE with us.

Like on Saturday, I spent like an entire hour listening to Chris Brown’s song, ‘Go Crazy,’ feeling the lyrics were God singing to me:

‘Everything you do is amazing’

I then go and shoot one of my videos telling the world that I thought God was singing those words to me. Talk about going crazy! Right after that, we hop in the car to go to the mall, and of all radio stations and all songs, this same song plays with me saying to my kids, “See, this song was a message from God to me. He does think everything I do is amazing.”

The next day, though, I said maybe that sounds a little bit too conceited and arrogant for me to say that, but out on a five-mile run with the Nike Run Club, Coach Bennet brings it up saying something like you are amazing giving everything your body is doing right now – the entire act of running is amazing!

So, yesterday, again, I brought up this whole everything you do is amazing feeling in another video, like that was God’s message to all of us, not just to me – we’re all amazing when you think of all the things our bodies are capable of in one moment – breathe, see, hear, move, think…. That’s pretty freaking AMAZING!

I then go to my closet a few hours later, and noticed that the bag we brought home from the mall, astonishingly said:

“YOU ARE AMAZING. REMEMBER THAT'”

Thanks, Charlotte Russe, for this fantastic God wink where once again, out of the blue, everything lines up a little bit too perfect to be just some random coincident. From listening to that song getting dressed, to shooting that video telling the world about it, to the song playing on the radio minutes later, to Coach Bennet saying it on my run with him the next day, to me doing another video about it, to seeing those words appear  on that bag, was all the LOVE I’m feeling from Papa God that He wants you feeling too.

Forget the angry God and replace it with the MOST LOVING BEING EVER. In fact, He wipes our slates clean every moment, and holds our transgressions as far as the east is from the west away from us. That no matter how many times we fall and fail, His love is unconditional. Do you feel it? I know I do!
