OUT OF 170 MILLION PEOPLE IN NIGERIA, GOD PLACED US WITH YOU GUYS!!!

That’s me bragging to my sister from God, Nosen, yesterday in one of our sacred conversations.

I was bragging on God. Bragging on how out of millions and millions of people, He hand-picked Nosen and her husband to train us.

God sent us to them to learn how to calm down. Check the emotions! To learn how to pray about everything by having constant conversations with God all day. That’s discernment! To be wise. To keep our focus on God. And to tie love and loyalty around our necks.

Proverbs 3:3 says it plain: “Let love and loyalty never leave you; tie them around your neck.”

They lived it. They taught it. And now God has sent me out into the world to teach what they taught us.

And y’all, God got in on our conversation.

It was after 11 AM today when I finally got my alone time with God. Rough morning! So I said, Lord, let’s see what page 11 has to say on our family’s website, weRollWithGod.com.

And I gasped.

Precisely, word for word, everything we discussed yesterday showed up in that blog from four years ago.

That’s not coincidence. That’s God whispering: “I was in that conversation. I’m intimately involved in all your ways. Every word you speak. Every thought you think. I am all up in your business, because you are Mine.”

GOD WHISPER: He is not watching FROM a distance. He is in the middle of the conversation.

Here is that blog I wrote four years ago, re-released with fresh oil an important reminder that we must trust God ABSOLUTELY no matter what is going on in our lives because He is intimately involved in everything and HE HAS OUR BACKS:

“WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?”

I asked Kevin, Jason, and Ceri this morning in our WhatsApp group — showing them a pic of the song ‘Highest In The Room’ playing by Travis Scott that I named our group after (they are really putting up with me, guys!!!)

The goal is to put together a book of ten chapters with some awesome advice on living our best lives with God. Today, for full transparency, I added my husband and a close friend to the conversation to keep me accountable.

But to explain what I mean by the highest in the room, I wanted to write about someone who LIVED it. Our great friend, Lucky Omoluwa, until God said He wanted His special angel back with Him.

Let me tell ya, I had the honor and privilege of watching Lucky in action. He lived life having direct communications with God Himself.

This is what I imagine when I say highest in the room: Living life with one foot on earth and one foot in heaven, having moment-by-moment conversations, asking God what He would have us do or not do, say or not say, go or not go, in every moment. In every conversation. In every circumstance. In every relationship.

GOD WHISPER: That’s Psalm 32:8 — “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” Highest in the room isn’t attitude. It’s ACCESS.

The things Lucky accomplished while here were nothing but extraordinary, and I have no doubt that this was how he did them.

Take for example the school he built where my kids attended in Nigeria. That school has given us five fierce kids. No joke!

Today I did a video call with my daughter Ember at her university in New York, where she was sitting so pretty in the skybox overlooking the football team as one of the team managers. This super fierce daughter was trained in Lucky’s school, where she got a strong foundation in not only academic excellence, but also in character training — learning perseverance, responsibility, integrity, discipline, and excellence as part of the core values.

Even after his death, his legacy lives on in the hundreds of students still passing through those school doors. That’s the highest in the room I’m talking about. Even after death he continues to positively impact the world!

GOD WHISPER: Your obedience builds something that outlives you. What you do WITH God today will speak after you’re gone.

I write a lot about love and loyalty in these posts because Lucky demonstrated these values on an out of this world level. We travelled all over the world together and he was exceedingly generous and loving, taking our family as if we were his family. Like, who would pay for a family of six people to travel the world with them and pay the majority of the expenses? Lucky!

They welcomed us to their home every Saturday in Nigeria, where I know God Himself sent me to his wife for training on how to be a wise and calm wife. Still learning! Before Kevin and I became so close, she was my guardrails, helping me to stay cool when the crazy lady wanted to come out. She is my shining example of a person who has beautifully pointed me to God. Her and Lucky have been great influencers on my family. Not one moment around them was a waste of time. Even in death, I remain loyal to Lucky.

Bottom line: What I really want us taking from Lucky is that God was his Man! The level of generosity, courage, love, loyalty, and excellence he demonstrated showed he was having continual conversations with God Himself, using God’s wisdom, tact, and guidance. Not that he got it right all the time — nobody’s perfect!

This is where I want us all! Everything is between us and God and not between us and anyone else. Seeing Ember on that video call looking so happy and flourishing was my special reminder of how God exceeds our expectations when we stick with Him.

May Lucky’s life remind us all that we’re not here for a long time — every moment is a gift! — but we are here for a good time, hopefully accomplishing some great things on God’s behalf. Amen!

STEP 2: THE BREAKDOWN — WHAT YOU ARE TRAINING THE READERS ON + HOW TO LIVE IT

Your bloggy is not just a memory. It’s a masterclass. It’s God showing us how He trains one family to train the world.

THEME OF THE PIECE: “Out of 170 Million, God Placed Us With YOU Guys”

This whole blog is one big testimony that God is strategic. He doesn’t place you randomly. Out of 170 million people in Nigeria, He placed you with Lucky and Nosen on purpose. Why? For training. For guardrails. For love and loyalty school. God got in on your conversation with Nosen yesterday, and then proved it today on Page 11. That is the theme: God is intimately involved in all our ways. Every word we speak. Every thought we think. God is all up in our business, because He is training us for what’s next. Your line says it all: Everything is between us and God and not between us and anyone else.

FIVE KEY LESSONS + HOW THE READER LIVES THEM TODAY

Lesson One: God Places You Strategically. Don’t Miss Your Trainers. You said out of 170 million people, God placed us with you guys. That wasn’t luck. That was placement. He sent you to Nosen for training on how to calm down, check the emotions, and be a wise wife. He sent you to Lucky to see what highest in the room looks like. The scripture behind this is Proverbs 3:3, tie love and loyalty around your neck. God uses people to tie those things on you. For the reader today, ask: Who did God strategically place in my life to train me? Stop being annoyed by them and start being trained by them. Do this today: Text your trainer. Tell them, Thank you for not giving up on me. I see that God placed you here on purpose.

Lesson Two: Check The Emotions! Calm Down Is A Superpower. You bragged that Nosen and her husband taught you to calm down. Before Kevin and you became so close, Nosen was your guardrails when the crazy lady wanted to come out. That is wisdom. A fool vents all their feelings, but a wise person holds them back. Proverbs 29:11. For the reader today, ask: Where do I need to check my emotions this week? Where is my crazy lady or crazy man trying to come out? Do this today: When you feel that heat rise, pause and pray, God, what would You have me do or not do, say or not say? That five second pause is you living with one foot in heaven.

Lesson Three: Highest In The Room Means Praying All Day. You said Lucky lived with direct communication with God Himself. One foot on earth, one foot in heaven, moment by moment conversations. That is what you mean by highest in the room. That is what you teach in your WhatsApp group with Kevin, Jason, and Ceri. It’s not a song. It’s a lifestyle. The scripture is Psalm 32:8, God will guide you and advise you and watch over you. But you have to be talking to Him to get the guidance. For the reader today, ask: Am I making decisions without consulting God first? Do this today: Practice the Lucky lifestyle. For 24 hours, before every conversation, every text, every decision, whisper, God, what do You want me to do here? That is discernment training.

Lesson Four: Love And Loyalty Are Not Feelings, They Are Legacy. You wrote, even in death, I remain loyal to Lucky. Wow. That’s what tie them around your neck means. You don’t take them off when it’s inconvenient. Lucky paid for a family of six to travel the world. He built a school that is still producing fierce kids like Ember in a skybox in New York four years later. His generosity outlived him. That’s love and loyalty. For the reader today, ask: Who am I loyal to only when it’s easy? Where has God called me to be generous like Lucky? Do this today: Do one extravagant, no-strings-attached generous act for someone God placed in your life. Love them like family, even if they aren’t blood.

Lesson Five: God Exceeds Your Expectations When You Stick With Him. You ended seeing Ember flourishing on video call as your reminder that God exceeds expectations. You thought you were just giving your kids school. God gave you five fierce kids with character, perseverance, integrity, discipline, and excellence. You thought you were gaining friends in Nigeria. God gave you trainers for life. Ephesians 3:20 says God does exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think. For the reader today, ask: Where do I need to trust that sticking with God will be worth it? Do this today: Write down one area where you are tired of sticking with God. Then pray, God, I will seek to honor You, obey Your word, and do Your will. I trust You to exceed my expectations.

THE SUPERNATURAL PATTERN IN YOUR STORY

This is the Rolling With God training school pattern: First, PLACEMENT. God places you. Out of 170 million, He placed you with them. Second, TRAINING. He uses them to teach you to calm down, pray all day, tie love and loyalty around your neck. Third, WITNESSING. You watch someone live it. Lucky lived highest in the room in front of you. Fourth, CONFIRMATION. God gets in on the conversation. Page 11 matches yesterday’s talk. Ember in the skybox matches seeds planted years ago. Fifth, SENDING. Now He has sent me out into the world to teach what they taught us. That’s you! You are now the trainer! That is how God moves. He trains you, then He uses you to train the world.

READER’S ACTION PLAN: THREE THINGS TO DO BEFORE BED TONIGHT

One, Name Your Nosen And Lucky. Who out of billions did God place you with for training? Write their names down. Pray for them. Thank them. Don’t miss your placement season.

Two, Practice Highest In The Room For One Hour. Set a timer for one hour. For that whole hour, live with one foot in heaven. Every single decision, ask, God, what would You have me do, say, not say, go, not go? Journal what He tells you. That’s your discernment muscle growing.

Three, Pray The Love And Loyalty Prayer. Put your hand on your neck tonight and pray, God, tie love and loyalty around my neck. Let them never leave me. Teach me to be like Lucky, generous even after I’m gone. I will seek to honor You, obey Your word, and do Your will. Amen.

STEP 3: FIVE VERSES THAT CAPTURE ESSENCE OF BLOG + MIGHTY CLOSE-OUT PRAYER

1.Proverbs 3:3-4 — “Let love and loyalty never leave you; tie them around your neck. Write them deep within your heart. Then you will find favor with both God and people.” Why I picked it: This is the whole training Nosen and Lucky gave you. You said it yourself — tying love and loyalty around your necks. This is why you remain loyal even after death. You tied it on and never took it off.
2.Psalm 32:8 — “The Lord says, I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” Why I picked it: This is your definition of highest in the room. One foot on earth, one foot in heaven, moment-by-moment conversations asking God what to do, say, not say, go, not go. Lucky lived this. You are training your readers to live it.
3.Psalm 139:2-3 — “You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do.” Why I picked it: Because you said it today — God got in on our conversation! After 11 AM, Page 11, every word matching yesterday’s talk. God is all up in our business. Every thought we think. Every word we speak. He proves He is intimately involved.
4.Proverbs 13:22 — “A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children.” Why I picked it: This is Lucky’s school. The five fierce kids. Ember in the skybox in New York. Hundreds of students still passing through those doors after his death. That’s not just money. That’s character — perseverance, integrity, discipline, excellence. A legacy that lives on.
5.Ephesians 3:20 — “Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” Why I picked it: Because you said it — seeing Ember flourishing was your reminder that God exceeds our expectations when we stick with Him. You thought you were getting schooling. God gave you fierce world-changers. You thought you were getting friends. God gave you family for life and trainers for your calling.
