I loved this conversation with my daughter Julie yesterday.
The reason why I’m happy over what happened — being ghosted and blocked — is because now I KNOW WHOSE I AM AND WHO I AM.
I’m no longer just God’s favorite girl. I’m His favorite PERSON. Out of billions!
And even if the entire world turns against me, no problem. Because with God on your side you don’t need no one else.
If God is for us, who can be against us? — Romans 8:31
GOD’S WHISPER: “My daughter, you finally got it. You stopped looking sideways at who left, and you looked up at Who stayed. I never left. I never will. And when you know Whose you are, you finally know who you are.”
And to live in that place where you KNOW God Himself is with you, it doesn’t matter:
People Stuff: Ghosted, blocked, unfollowed, left on read. Betrayed, backstabbed, talked about. Rejected, abandoned, left out, not invited. Used, taken for granted, taken advantage of. Judged, criticized, labeled, misunderstood. Forgotten, replaced, overlooked, unappreciated. Lied to, cheated on, led on, love-bombed then dropped.
Family & Close People Stuff: Disappointed by the people who were supposed to protect you. The apology you never got. The family members who don’t show up. The friends who only call when they need something. The people who clap for you in your face and cut you behind your back.
IT DOESN’T MATTER WHEN YOU ARE LOVED BY GOD!!!!
GOD’S WHISPER: “Nik, I heard every one of those hurts. I saw every read receipt, every block, every tear. And I took that sorrow — the deepest sorrow — and I am weaving it into a pattern for good. Just like I promised you on July 25th. I speak through everything, even ghosting. There is no limit to how I can reach you.”
He promises that He will never leave us or forsake us. He wakes us up every morning with new mercies — great is His faithfulness towards us!
It’s just for us to wake up every day and walk in His love, compassion, mercy and kindness. Even if you are at your lowest, no problem. I call myself the queen of falls and every day I get back to my prayer altar to begin again.
“God, the queen of falls is back again.”
All because I’ve come to KNOW the heart of God: HE LOVES US ALL UNCONDITIONALLY.
It’s just for us to seek Him and I promise you will find Him when you seek Him with all your heart. Hold everyone in their proper perspective — with open hands, knowing they will disappoint us. But just how God gives us mercy and grace we must do the same for others. GET TO KNOW GOD BETTER EVERY DAY!!!!
HOW TO LIVE LIKE YOU’RE GOD’S FAVORITE PERSON (EVEN AFTER YOU’VE BEEN GHOSTED AND BLOCKED)
I don’t want to feel like God’s favorite person by myself. I want everyone here with me feeling so loved by God — men and women — so here’s what God taught me and how you can live it.
1. STOP CHASING QUANTITY, START PRAYING FOR QUALITY.
I used to want everyone to like me. To keep everyone. To have a big crowd.
God said, “Nik, I prune for quality, not quantity.”
That block was God pruning. That ghost was God protecting.
How you do it: Every morning, pray: “God, show me who You want in my life and who You don’t want in my life. I trust Your pruning.” The ones who pull closer when it gets messy — that’s quality. Keep them.
GOD’S WHISPER: “Son, Daughter, you don’t need 100 lukewarm people. You need 2 or 3 quality ones who will stop everything to support you. I am sending you quality. Let Me remove quantity.”
2. KNOW WHOSE YOU ARE BEFORE YOU TRY TO KNOW WHO YOU ARE.
If you don’t know Whose you are, you will beg people to stay. You will chase approval. You will live on read receipts. GOD SEES OUR HEARTS AND HE IS THE ONLY BEING WHO CAN TRULY JUDGE US. NOBODY ELSE. GOD IS OUR DEFENDER KNOW MATTER WHO TURNS AGAINST US. EVERYTHING IS BETWEEN US AND GOD, NOT BETWEEN US AND ANYONE ELSE.
But when you know God is for you, who can be against you?
How you do it: Stop starting your day with your phone. Start your day with your Father. Wake up to an APPOINTMENT with Him reading or listening to anything spiritual that connects you to Him like our website that I am so in love with: werollwithgod.com. Say out loud: “I am God’s favorite person. He is with me. He will never leave me or forsake me.” Say it until you believe it. Because it’s true.
GOD’S WHISPER: “My favorite person, I chose you before you chose Me. You were never forgotten, replaced, or overlooked by Me. You are seen. You are Mine.”
3. HOLD PEOPLE WITH OPEN HANDS AND GOD WITH A TIGHT GRIP.
This set me free. EVERYONE will disappoint you. Even quality people. Because we are all human. NOBODY’S PERFECT.
I love you, but I don’t own you. You can disappoint me and I will still give you grace (forgiveness), just like God gives me grace every morning.
And brothers, listen to me — this is strength, not weakness. A real man holds his wife, his kids, his friends with open hands and trusts God to be the guardrail. You don’t have to control to be a leader. You just have to stay on your knees.
How you do it: When someone hurts you, open your hand. Pray: “God, I give them to You. I release them. Help me give them the same mercy You give me.”
GOD’S WHISPER: “My child, I give you new mercies every morning. Not because you earned them. Because I love you unconditionally.”
4. MAKE GOD NUMBER ONE.
You cannot feel this loved if God is number ten on your list. He has to be number one.
How you do it: Make a real appointment with God. Same time every day. Learn His voice for yourself. That’s how you know that even if you lose everything and everyone — no problem — because you can never lose God.
THE WORD THAT HOLDS US
For when you feel ghosted and blocked: “Yes, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.” — Jeremiah 31:3
For when you wonder WHOSE you are: “If God is for us, who can be against us?” — Romans 8:31
For when you feel left or forsaken: “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” — Hebrews 13:5
For when you need new mercy after you fall: “They are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness.” — Lamentations 3:22-23
For when you want to hear His voice: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” — John 10:27
For when you seek Him: “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” — Jeremiah 29:13
For quality over quantity: “Every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.” — John 15:2
GOD’S FINAL WHISPER: “I take the deepest sorrow and weave it into a pattern for good. Nothing you have lived through is wasted in My hands.”
OUR STRONG CLOSE-OUT PRAYER
Pray this with me out loud wherever you are:
PAPA GOD,
In the mighty name of Jesus, I come to You today as Your favorite person.
Thank You for loving me with an everlasting love, even when I felt ghosted, blocked, rejected, betrayed, abandoned, judged, forgotten, overlooked, used, and left on read.
Forgive me for looking sideways at who left instead of looking up at Who stayed. Today I repent. Today I return to my prayer altar.
I declare that I KNOW Whose I am and who I am. I am Yours. Out of billions, I am Yours. And if You are for me, who can be against me?
Lord, today I give You all the people who hurt me. I hold them with open hands. I release them to You. Give me the grace to give them the same mercy and compassion You give me every morning.
I am the queen — I am the king — of falls, and I am back again. Give me new mercies today. Wash me. Let me begin again.
I don’t want to feel like Your favorite by myself. I want my whole family to feel this love too. So I make You my number one priority. I make an appointment with You every day to learn Your voice and Your character for myself.
Even if I lose everything and everyone, I can never lose You. And You are more than enough.
I am quality, not quantity. Prune what needs to go and bring close what needs to stay. Surround me with quality people who stop everything to support me.
