NEEKS, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A “GOD TREE” IN NIGERIA
WOW! I can’t get over my brother, Kevin!
Not having my regular routine of running to my God Tree every day in the US was really getting the best of me. I was seriously depressed. I didn’t even want to get out of bed.
That was until Kevin called and gave me that reminder. What really freaked me out was that the phone line wasn’t even clear, but he managed to get those words to me:
“Nik, how could you, the God maniac, forget you need that ‘God Tree’ place where you meet God every day?”
See the love of God, guys? He had Kevin call me with that important reminder to get my God morning routine back on. I immediately rose back up! Heehaw!!!
Fast forward almost three months later, God continues to meet me at the prayer altar.
This morning, I felt led to go to page 2 and look at all the God winks that showed up on just this one page:
Wisdom for Emmie
Before asking God what page to read, I sat for the longest just staring at my son Emmie’s photo. I was almost crying, just feeling so blessed to have this great son who I promised I would continue to make wise decisions for our family/team.
What showed up immediately on page 2:
“Let me tell ya, no greater wisdom than wisdom from God. He teaches us through everyday struggles, like a big fight with my husband last night. I have a picture of my son, Emmie, by the prayer altar, reminding me to be the mom he needs on the high road with God. EVEN WHEN OTHERS ARE UNFAIR WITH ME, I REMIND MYSELF THAT GOD’S WAYS ARE MORE THAN FAIR, and that I want to do my utmost best to please Him.”
God’s way of saying, ‘Nik, I’m right here with you, my sweetie!’
Forgiveness
The entire time I was listening to my prayer, I was venting to God. I kept hitting my head: ‘Nik, you gotta forgive. Nik, you gotta forgive. Nik, you gotta forgive.’
What showed up again on page 2:
“Nik, have mercy, please! The same mercy God shows us every day, He asks us to share it with others.”
“As Ceri says, this FORGIVENESS IS FOR US (Wink! Wink!). So we can have a clean slate with God. God, I did the right thing! And it gives us peace!”
The Song Confirmation
Then there was the song I was playing yesterday and taking pics of on my phone. That very song showed up:
“One morning, before chatting with a customer, I turned on the radio for some background music. Minutes later, as he was saying to me, “One monkey don’t stop no show!” unbelievably, the radio station was playing a song with the exact lyrics, “One monkey don’t stop no show!”” I jumped up with such enthusiasm and joy, knowing it was God revealing His invisible Presence there with us. Once again, out of the blue, everything lined up too perfectly!
And again today, I jumped up from that prayer altar with renewed strength, joy, faith, and courage, KNOWING God Himself is my Constant Companion.
THE JOY OF THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH, BABY!!!
He has asked me to bring you to Him with JOY! So, just like Kevin reminded me: make sure you have a place to meet God every morning.

Father,
Thank You for Kevin. Thank You that no static, no distance, no depression can block Your voice. You sent a brother through a broken line to call Nik back to the God Tree.
Today, Lord, do it again.

Meet them at their God Tree this morning.
If they’re heavy and can’t get out of bed, breathe strength into them to rise like Nik did.
If they’re staring at their child’s photo, overwhelmed, whisper ‘I’m right here with you, my sweetie.’
If they’re holding unforgiveness, break it. Give them the same mercy You give us daily. Let FORGIVENESS IS FOR US bring peace to their house.
