“THIS IS THE PEACE THAT YOU CANNOT BUY”
That’s me singing today with Tems and her song Free Mind. Honestly, this relationship with God is what gives me this out-of-this-world peace, and I want the entire world here with me, feeling so close to God. Are you with me?
I can’t get over a conversation with my brother, Kevin, yesterday. We discussed a certain situation and said, “K, all I got right now is God! Like you said the other day, “Neeks, pray!” I’m praying all day!” Fast forward a few hours, I decided to hang out with God in my meditation book, He and I, and He had this sweet message waiting on me there:
“If you didn’t count on Me (God) for help, to whom would you turn? Hope and trust to the utmost in Me, and you will honor Me. And I’ll answer every time you call.”
God, I’m counting wholeheartedly on You! And this is where I get my peace, knowing that whatever situation I face, I have God with me, beside me, behind me, and within me to help me courageously and bravely take on my life. I’m so grateful to God for being God! I have no doubt that He is behind these prayers on YouTube that I run up and down the stairs of our house like a crazy lady for 45 minutes listening to. They are changing my life as I start my day in alignment with God! Let me share a little portion with you:
“Lord, I will not wait for the manifestation to praise you. I will praise you right now. I will praise you in advance. I will lift my voice and declare that you are faithful, that you are powerful, and that you are worthy of all praise. As this prayer continues, I choose to remain in your presence. I choose to focus on your goodness. I choose to trust in your timing. And I choose to walk in faith, knowing that you are working all things together for my good.
Father, as I remain in this moment of prayer, I choose to go deeper in my trust, deeper in my surrender, and deeper in my gratitude. I choose not to allow my attention to wander toward anything that does not honor you. I fix my thoughts on your word. I root my heart in your promises, and I ground my spirit in your presence. Lord, let everything within me come into alignment with your divine purpose.
For this day, I declare that my mind is being renewed even now. Every negative thought is being replaced with faith. Every doubt is being exchanged for confidence in your word. Every fear is being replaced with the assurance that you are with me, Lord, I will not carry what you have not called me to carry. I release every burden into your hands. I let go of every worry, every concern, and every hidden anxiety. I choose peace. I choose trust. I choose to rest in your presence.
Father, as I step into this day, let my path be directed by you. Guide my footsteps with precision. Align my decisions with your perfect will. If there is anything I am about to do that does not reflect your purpose, redirect me. Close the doors that lead to distraction and open the doors that lead to destiny. I trust that you are guiding me even when I cannot see the full picture. Lord, I ask for divine strength. Strength not only in my body but also in my spirit. Strength to remain faithful when challenges arise. Strength to stay consistent when motivation fades. Strength to remain grounded when circumstances feel overwhelming. Lord, let your strength rise within me and carry me through this day with confidence and stability.
Father, I pray for wisdom. Wisdom in my decisions, wisdom in my conversations, wisdom in my actions. Let me not lean on my own understanding, but acknowledge you in all my ways. Let your wisdom speak louder than my emotions. Let your truth guide me beyond what I feel or see. I choose to walk in divine insight today. Lord, I lift up my relationships before you. Every connection in my life, every interaction I will have today, I place them under your guidance. Let my words build up, not tear down. Let my actions reflect kindness, patience, and love. Where there has been tension, bring peace. Where there has been misunderstanding, bring clarity. Where there has been distance, bring healing.
Father, I pray for protection over my mind. Guard my thoughts from anything that seeks to bring confusion or negativity. Protect my heart from discouragement. Protect my spirit from anything that tries to weaken my faith. Let your word dwell richly within me, keeping me strong, steady, and focused. Lord, I declare that I will not be moved by what I see, but by what you have spoken. Your promises are my foundation. Your word is my anchor. Your presence is my strength. I will stand firm knowing that you are faithful to fulfill every promise you have spoken over my life.
Father, I thank you because you are already working behind the scenes. Even when I do not see it, you are at work. Even when I do not feel it, you are moving. Even when I do not understand it, you are arranging everything for my good. I trust your timing. I trust your process. I trust your plan. Lord, let this morning flow into the rest of my day. Let the peace I feel right now remain with me. Let the gratitude I experience right now continue to overflow. Let the joy I feel in this moment carry me through every part of my day. I will not allow this connection with you to fade. I take it with me wherever I go. Father, I declare blessings over this day. I proclaim that today will be filled with divine opportunities, unexpected favor, and open doors. I declare that today will be defined by peace, clarity, and success according to your will. I declare that no situation will overwhelm me because you are with me in every circumstance. Lord, I ask that you help me to be a light wherever I go. Let others see your presence through my actions.
