I’M IN A NEW REALM OF CLOSENESS WITH GOD, BABY!

The way He is showing up for me! Like last night, I was making up my bed thinking that I wanted to buy a perfume named “Alien” because I wanted to be reminded of my daughter, Julie, who is so hard-working, disciplined, and focused. She came to work with us and completely changed the culture of our business! ‘I need to be more like Julie!’ I thought to myself. Fast forward to this morning, the Nike Running Club announced that I had run 23 minutes for my first mile, so I went to page 23 of our family’s website, and look what incredibly showed up out of 146 pages:

“I gave her (Julie) a big hug because she has gone the extra mile for me as a daughter. I noticed that she smelled nice, so I asked her what perfume she was wearing. Guess the name, guys? “ALIEN””

Then, I was out running an errand for my brother, Jason, and I called him, telling him that the zip code where he sent me ended in “311,” which means that I should stay on the highest road with God and BE STILL AND KNOW THAT HE IS GOD (He is in control of everything and everyone). The following day at the God tree, this old post showed up:

“So, on Monday, your girl woke up stressing (hey, I’m only human!). But here is how God showed up. First, it was a customer who I offered to pick up. She sent me the address from where she had to return a rental vehicle, and the building number ended in “311.” Next, I’m filling out her application to apply for the loan, and her zip code astonishingly ends in “311.” I submitted her application, and the first bank that approved her, the payment turned out to be exactly “$311.11.” No way these were all random coincidences; they were all orchestrated by God to remind me of His deep love for me and that He is by my side as I bravely, courageously, and lovingly take on my life. HEEHAW!!!”

I can honestly go on and on forever with how close I’m feeling to God right now, but the critical message I want to get across to you today is what my brother, Kevin, has been teaching me, “Neeks, I want you to be wise. For me, that means making God the center of every move you make, your top priority and focus. Notice how I don’t play around with my daily runs to my God tree, where I sit down and ask what He has to say. I also don’t play with my ‘Words of Wisdom’ from Ceri, my other brother, on our “We Roll With God” YouTube channel. Ceri gives me the God mindset to take on my days lovingly, joyfully, and bravely, knowing there is never a moment when God’s Presence isn’t with me, helping and supporting me.

Don’t conform to the world that tells us things like not being weak or humble, setting boundaries, and not taking or putting up with stuff from other people. LISTEN TO GOD! Let me tell ya, God loves the humble and rewards humility. What the world may consider weak, like overlooking and covering offenses, is Godly wisdom. God rewards us when we have patience and seek peace, forgiveness, and love. Sometimes, He does ask us to go a little crazy, though, and not take some stuff, but it’s a constant conversation with God as to what He would have us to do or not do. Once you learn God’s voice, this is how He directs us on the best individual path for us that exceeds anything we can ask for or imagine. Trust me, you don’t want to miss out on this life with God! Wink! WinK! Wake up daily to some alone time with Him by listening or reading something you feel connects you with God, seeking His perspective for your life.
