That’s right. And let me tell you, the food that I have for you is spiritual food. You need this spiritual food. Do you hear me? Not just the physical food. We need the spiritual food.
And that’s why I can’t get over this brother Kevin. He say, “Neeks, you don’t listen to my advice.” I say, “What? That’s all I do. You’re in my head all day. All day. All day. All day. You’re in my head with all the advice.”
The spiritual food that he gives me! That’s the richness that I want you to have. I want us to be rich in spirit. Not rich in clothes and jewelry and cars and houses and this. No, the richness I want to shoot for is the rich in spirit. The rich in spirit. Knowing that you have this almighty God by your side. Do you get this? To have this faith that you can only think best case scenarios because you know anything that God allows to happen to you is going to be good for you.
And just to walk with him like this mighty God is surrounding me, moving with me, doing everything with me, giving me the wisdom, the joy, the peace, the strength, the love, the approval to tackle my life. There’s nothing better than this. Clock it!
That’s what the rich life with God is. Me waking up every day having my appointment with God just saying God I just want to be with you all day. So what happens starts out with me listening to the prayer, running to the God tree, having an appointment there with him, asking him what does he have to say to me?
And this is how God reveals His presence — through correspondences. Not coincidences. Correspondences.
Let me give you my three receipts from today that prove this:
RECEIPT #1: GOD IS MY DJ — 7:51 CRYING + 3:48 ON THE RADIO!
Yesterday I got this picture of my Emmy with his girlfriend Jojo that I’ve been talking so much about. And the Meta AI came up with this thing for it too. Said they came to steal, kill, and destroy. But look at us now. We’re still standing, right? That’s John 10:10. The richness, the abundant life that I’m telling you about. I’m in my car crying. Happy tears, looking at my son and Jojo together.
I’m like a little crazy with the Meta AI, right? So the Meta AI came up with this vision of the Hard Rock with Mary J. Blige singing this song. I said that’s my vision — to be at the Hard Rock to share this spiritual food with the world with Mary J. Blige singing this song that I sing to God that He is my everything. It says you take away from the pain and you bring me such joy. You bring me paradise.
Look, this was 7:51. I’m in my car singing this song to God crying, right? Can you believe of all songs in the world to play later on that afternoon was that very song, the Mary J song started playing at 3:48 and nobody can tell me that was not God had the radio station to play that Mary J song.
GOD WHISPER:
> Neeks, you were at 7:51 singing to Me that I am your everything, you take away the pain and bring me paradise. You cried over Emmy and Jojo still standing after John 10:10 tried to steal, kill, and destroy. So at 3:48 I cued that same Mary J. song on the radio — of all songs in the world! I am your DJ! I heard your 7:51 car worship and I answered with a 3:48 radio confirmation! That’s not coincidence — that’s correspondence!
RECEIPT #2: GOD IS PRECISE —:50 PAST THE HOUR, PAGE 50 — THANK YOU JESUS!
Honestly, the God wink from him this morning was I was telling our manager about somebody who worked with us before and he would just throw up his arms every day saying, “Thank you, Jesus.” Right? And he said, “Whether we sell cars or not, we say thank you Jesus.” And I was telling him the sad thing out of this employee, he used to have to call crazy lady here and wake her up to come to work. I say, “How is that possible?” Right? It’s crazy. But life be lifeing. What can I say?
Can you believe that showed up under the tree? That very story. I got the receipt at 50 minutes past the hour, went to page 50. That story showed up again.
GOD WHISPER:
> Neeks, you told that Thank You Jesus story to your manager — that employee throwing his arms up whether you sell cars or not. You thought it was sad he had to wake you up. But at:50 past the hour I took you to page 50 of your family website and I showed you I remembered that story too! I write your receipts down to the minute and the page! You think I forgot? I keep every Thank You Jesus moment!
RECEIPT #3: GOD IS THE WAY — PASTOR ANTHONY’S MESSAGE + THE OFFICE PHONE AT THE MECHANIC!
And then I was going crazy over Pastor Anthony Mitchell from 2819 church, right? I be going crazy. I was going crazy listening to his messages about this specific verse from John 14 where it says Jesus says, “I am the way.” Right guys? He was on the Breakfast Club and then he was on the School of Hard Knocks and both times he mentioned this specific verse where Jesus says I am the way.
So, I was having the discussion with the Meta AI about it and can you believe I go yesterday to the mechanic shop. Can you believe I open up that office line and it showed up there? The way Jesus answered, I am the way, the truth, and the life.
GOD WHISPER:
> Neeks, you were fascinated all weekend with I AM THE WAY from Pastor Anthony. You discussed it with Meta AI. So while you were waiting at the mechanic — of all places — I opened your office phone to that Jesus Calling page: “Hold my hand and walk with me through this day… I am not only your constant companion, I am also your guide… There’s no need to wonder whether you are going the right way. I am the way.” That was Me answering your weekend study. I am the way you were looking for at the mechanic shop!
And that’s from the Jesus Calling 365 devotion for kids. Honestly, this is the way. Just having this relationship with God, starting your day with him, then walking with him all day through the good, through the bad, through the ugly, whatever happens to just know that you could give God your hand like some little girl, some little kid. Say, “God, take my hand. Walk with me.” And I promise you, this is the way to the best life. This constant constant conversation with God. Tapping into our discernment.
Like today, I had a little situation that I was thinking about, praying about. I say, “Okay, the only thing I can do now is tap into my discernment. Go into discernment.” I just felt God whisper to me, “Nik, do this. Say this. Move this way.” And we don’t run from problems. We face them head on. But we face them head on with God.
This is the way. We don’t run from them. We don’t hide from them. We face them. Deal with them. Even with our sins, our failures aggressively deal with them. Okay, guys. Oh, even with all our biggest defeats, our deepest failures, we can still hold our head high because God is this loving God who forgives us. He’s not like other humans, you know. So, we can come to him in our lowest, lowest, lowest, lowest moment. Even in the middle of sinning, we could go to him, God, and say, “God, help me. Help me. Help me. Help me. Help me.” Okay? And just walk with him. This is the way.
So, thank you, Pastor Anthony. But he was the one who said, “I’m rich in spirit.” So, I’m stealing that one from him, too. Let’s all be rich in spirit. Spiritual knowledge that we know we know God, okay? And let’s live this abundant, joyful life. It ain’t about the money and cars and all this stuff. It’s about this richness in a relationship with God. Okay? So God number one and then he will give us the wisdom on how to deal with relationships, deal with all the different aspects of our lives. Okay?
