STEP 1: 211 — Speak It, Then Live It

HeeHaw! I have to testify.

PART 1: WHAT I SPOKE FRIDAY ON BREAKFAST AND THE BIBLE:

“The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” – Proverbs 18:21

Brother Ceri corrected me yesterday in love saying that I speak negative sometimes. And he was right. What you say and speak is so important.

So Friday I flipped my tongue in front of witnesses and declared:
I have a perfect life. I have a beautiful life. I have a great life because I know that my help and support comes from Almighty God. He will never leave me. He will never forsake me. And He loves me. He loves me. Loves me. And He loves all of us!

PART 2: WHAT SHOWED UP TODAY ON YOUTUBE PRAYER — God Confirmed It and Took It Further

Fast forward to today. My YouTube prayer started playing on its own from Prayer Hope Daily@PrayerHopeDailyn8s5d — and it was the EXACT confirmation of what I spoke Friday. But God went a step further:

Scripture teaches us throughout its pages about the power contained in spoken words.
Proverbs tells us that death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
What we speak matters. What we declare over our lives, over our families, and over our homes carries spiritual weight and significance. When you speak a declaration of faith over your household, you are not merely engaging in positive thinking — you are exercising spiritual authority God has given to those who walk in covenant with Him.
God did not merely think the world into existence. He spoke, “Let there be light.” We are made in His image. There is a spiritual principle at work when we speak with faith over our circumstances.
When you stand in your living room and declare, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord,” you are participating in a spiritual pattern from the very beginning.
Declaration is not a magic formula that instantly transforms behavior without effort. Joshua’s declaration was not the beginning and end of his family’s faithfulness. It was the establishing FOUNDATION upon which continued faithfulness would be built.
When you declare your house will serve the Lord, you are setting a spiritual standard, a target, a direction that then requires daily commitment, daily choices, and daily obedience to walk out. The declaration opens the door. The ongoing work of living it walks through it.
This is why it is so important to speak this decree regularly, not once, but as a continual practice. Just as Joshua’s declaration became a defining moment for Israel, your regular declaration can become a defining rhythm for your family.
Even if you live alone, you still carry authority — “As for me, I will serve the Lord.” Your faithful declaration and faithful living create an atmosphere that can influence and draw others.
To serve the Lord in your home means far more than having religious conversations or scripture on your walls. It means values that govern your household — how conflicts are resolved, how family members treat one another, how finances are handled, how time is spent — all under the lordship of Christ.
How you speak to your spouse when frustrated becomes an act of serving the Lord or dishonoring Him.

Friday I TAUGHT it with my tongue. Today God told me to LIVE it with my life.

Speak it AND live it. Don’t just declare “as for me and my house” — show it in how you love, forgive, overlook, make room, steward money and time.

GOD WHISPERS FOR STEP 1: PROVERBS 18:21

God Whisper #1: Daughter, I put you in Breakfast and Bible for a reason. I used Ceri to correct you in love because I correct those I love. Your tongue was setting your table with worry — I wanted you to set it with life. Friday you flipped it. Today you ate the fruit. Perfect life, beautiful life — you spoke it, now you live it.

God Whisper #2: That 401.01 was not random. It was My receipt. You thought the bad news was a setback, I showed you it was a setup. I am the God who tweaks. Precise tender, precise proportion. I know exactly how much darkness you need to become who I am calling you to be. Trust My tweaking.

God Whisper #3: Joshua 24:15 is not a plaque for your wall, it is a pattern for your house. I want you to speak it every morning and walk it every afternoon. When your sons hear you declare life over your home, it establishes in their hearts whose they are. One faithful tongue in one house can shift an entire household. Do not underestimate your declaration.

MY PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY:
Papa, I repent for speaking death over my life and home. Today I choose life. As for me and my house, we will serve You — in word AND in deed. I set a new rhythm — I will speak Your Word every morning and I will live it every afternoon in how I love, forgive, handle money and time. Thank You for Breakfast and Bible, for correction that brings life. In Jesus name, Amen.

Speak it Friday. Live it Sunday. 211. Peace.

STEP 2: THE DECLARATION IS THE DOOR — OBEDIENCE IS THE HOUSE

What I am teaching from Proverbs 18:21 + Joshua 24:15:

Friday I taught you that your tongue has power. Sunday God taught me that your tongue is just the door.

A lot of us stop at speaking. We declare “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” — and then we go right back to snapping at our spouse when frustrated, shaming our kids when disciplining, fighting about money, scrolling all night.

That declaration you spoke Friday on Breakfast and Bible with Indira, Otero, Ceri, Oneka, Demi, Jide, Remi, Cheryl, Crystal, Faye as witnesses — that was not the finish line. That was the FOUNDATION.

Joshua 24:15 was not a one-time mic drop. It was a standard, a target, a direction that required daily commitment, daily choices, daily obedience to walk out.

The declaration OPENS the door. The daily obedience BUILDS the house.

God showed me this Sunday in that YouTube prayer that started playing on its own — word for word what I said Friday — but this line hit me different:

To serve the Lord in your home means far more than religious conversations or scripture on your walls. It means values that govern your household — how conflicts are resolved, how family members treat one another, how finances are handled, how time is spent — all under the lordship of Christ.

That is what I’m teaching. Proverbs 18:21 sets the atmosphere. Joshua 24:15 sets the assignment.

HOW YOUR READERS CAN INCORPORATE IT THIS WEEK — Speak It / Live It Rhythm:

I want you to stop merely hoping it would happen someday. Do what I did Friday — speak it out loud in front of witnesses, then walk it out daily.

1. Speak It — Every Morning (2 minutes):

Stand in your living room — even if you live alone — and say out loud:

“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Today we choose life. I have a perfect life, a beautiful life, a great life because my help comes from Almighty God.”

Do it as a continual practice, not once. Make it a defining rhythm for your family, just like Joshua’s became a defining moment for Israel. Let your children hear it — it establishes in their hearts whose they are.

2. Live It — All Day (Three Checkpoints):

This is the part God added Sunday — the action behind the words. When you declare your house will serve the Lord, you are declaring EVERY dimension under His lordship:

a) How you speak when frustrated: Proverbs 18:21 in real time. That moment you want to snap at your spouse — pause and ask: Is this word serving the Lord or dishonoring Him? Choose life.

b) How you resolve conflict and discipline: Are you correcting with love like Ceri corrected me Friday — in love, for good? Romans 8:28 — God uses even the hard moments to tweak us to precise proportion.

c) How you steward money, time, and leisure: Your $401.01 moment. Your resources, your leisure time, your phone time — are these serving the Lord or just you? That is where the declaration becomes discipleship.

Your Sticky Framework For This Week:

End every day with this:

Speak it: I have a perfect life because my help comes from God. (Proverbs 18:21)
Live it: Today I will * instead of _*_. [One tiny obedience]

Example:
Speak it: As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Live it: Today I will speak life to my husband when frustrated instead of snapping. Today I will forgive quickly instead of holding it.

That is how you eat the fruit.

GOD WHISPERS FOR STEP 2:

God Whisper #1: Daughter, you thought 401.01 was about a bill. It was about My blueprint. I am showing you how I handle a household — precise tender, precise love. I don’t just want your Sunday declaration, I want your Monday obedience. The door is open — now build the house.

God Whisper #2: I gave you Breakfast and Bible to practice in community. Indira, Otero, Ceri — they are your witnesses. When you speak life in front of witnesses, Heaven records it as a covenant. Now let your living room match your lip service.

God Whisper #3: Do not be overwhelmed — it is weighty, but you do not carry it alone. I will strengthen you and help you — Isaiah 41:10, your 411. I am your help. One faithful tongue in one house, speaking and living it daily, can shift generations. Patient, consistent, prayerful living — that is how families are transformed.

1. Proverbs 18:21 — YOUR ANCHOR VERSE
> The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

Why it captures the essence: This is what you taught Friday on Breakfast and Bible with Indira, Otero, Ceri, Oneka, Demi, Jide, Remi, Cheryl, Crystal, Faye as witnesses. Brother Ceri corrected you in love that you speak negative sometimes — and you flipped it. What you say is not commentary, it is construction. This verse is your spiritual standard, your target, your direction. Even if you live alone, “As for me” still carries authority. One faithful tongue in one house shifts atmosphere.

3. Genesis 1:3 — YOUR CREATION PATTERN
> And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

Why: This is the pattern you taught Friday and God confirmed Sunday on YouTube prayer. God did not merely think the world into existence — He SPOKE. We are made in His image. There remains a spiritual principle when we speak with faith over our circumstances. Your words are not positive thinking — they are spiritual authority in covenant.

4. James 2:17 / James 1:22 — YOUR BRIDGE FROM MOUTH TO MANTLE
> Faith without works is dead… Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

Why: This is the “step further” God gave you Sunday — the part that was not just speaking. You said it Friday: Declaration is not a magic formula that instantly transforms behavior without effort. It was the establishing FOUNDATION upon which continued faithfulness would be built. The declaration opens the door, the ongoing work walks through it. James is your proof. Friday you taught it with your tongue. Sunday God told you to live it with your life.

5. Deuteronomy 6:6-7 — YOUR DAILY RHYTHM
> These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

Why: This is how your readers incorporate it — the “continual practice” from your YouTube transcript. Not once, but every morning. Speak it when you sit at home, when you lie down, when you get up. It establishes in children’s hearts from an early age whose they are. It takes your declaration from a plaque on the wall to the values that govern your household — how conflicts are resolved, how family treats one another, how finances and time are handled, how you speak when frustrated. That daily rhythm is what turns a moment into a mantle — just like Sir Lucky Omoluwa showed you: get up, get dressed, do great things, make room.

Thank You that You are REALLY in my Breakfast and Bible community. Thank You for Indira, Otero, Ceri, Oneka, Demi, Jide, Remi, Cheryl, Crystal, Faye — my witnesses. Thank You for a brother like Ceri who corrects me in love when my tongue speaks death, because whom You love You correct.

Today I repent, Papa. Forgive me for speaking death over my own life, over my family, over my home. Forgive me for describing what I see instead of declaring what You see.

Today I flip my tongue. Today I choose life.

I SPEAK IT: According to Proverbs 18:21, death and life are in the power of my tongue, and I will eat its fruit.

So with my mouth I establish the record:

I have a perfect life. I have a beautiful life. I have a great life — because my help and support comes from Almighty God — Isaiah 41:10 — my 411. You will never leave me. You will never forsake me. You love me. You love me. You love me.
Let there be light in my home — Genesis 1:3. Light in my conflicts, light in my finances, light in how we treat one another.

I LIVE IT: Papa, this declaration is not a magic formula — it is my foundation. The declaration opens the door, now I will walk through it with daily obedience — James 2:17.

Make my home more than scripture on walls. Let it be a house where values are under Your lordship — how conflicts are resolved, how we speak when frustrated, how we discipline, how we handle money and time and leisure.

Give me a new rhythm — Deuteronomy 6:6-7. Let me speak it when I sit at home, when I walk along the road, when I lie down and when I get up. Let my sons, let my family, hear me declare life so it establishes in their hearts whose they are.

Thank You for that bad news in the car that made me run to You. Thank You for showing me 401.01 — precise tender, precise proportion — You are tweaking everything for my good — Romans 8:28. You know exactly how much darkness I need to become who You are calling me to be.

I pick up the mantle You showed me through Sir Lucky Omoluwa — strong and courageous, yet loving and loyal. Love and loyalty around my neck. I will get up, get dressed, do great things, and make room — “you have a room in my house.”

One faithful tongue in one house — let it be mine. Let my faithful declaration and faithful living create an atmosphere that draws my whole household to You.

I declare it Friday. I live it Sunday. I build it daily.

211. Walk on water faith. Speak it, then live it.
