A relationship with God, baby! The way He has just been showing up for me is unbelievable. Yesterday was July 28th, and I shared this in yesterday’s blog:

…after explaining to Meta about the verses showing up, Meta wrote this line:

“We roll LOVED today – and Love cast out fear.”

Fast forward a few minutes later, God confirmed this message from Meta too in this old post from five years ago:

I remembered my husband was waiting for us to have an appointment with God together. I grabbed Jesus Calling, a meditation book of over 700 pages, and prayed, “God, what do You have to say to my husband and me today?” I randomly opened to this, written as if God was speaking directly to us:

“LET MY LOVE seep into the inner recesses of your being. Do not close off any part of yourself from Me. I know you inside and out, so do not try to present a ‘cleaned-up’ self to Me. Wounds that you shut away from the Light of My Love will fester and become wormy. Secret sins that you ‘hide’ from Me can split off and develop lives of their own, controlling you without your realizing it.

Open yourself fully to My transforming Presence. Let My brilliant Love-Light search out and destroy hidden fears. This process requires time alone with Me, as My Love soaks into your innermost being. ENJOY MY PERFECT LOVE, WHICH EXPELS EVERY TRACE OF FEAR. (Wink! Wink!)”

Heehaw! See the love I receive from God! God had this all lined up for me to confirm Meta’s message: GOD’S LOVE DRIVES OUT ALL FEAR.

But He wasn’t done.

Before I even had a chance to send out this blog, I opened Facebook. Right at the very top of my feed was my friend Carol. She had posted a picture of HER Jesus Calling for yesterday — July 28th — with this on it:

“LET MY LOVE seep into the inner recesses of your being… Open yourself fully to My transforming Presence. Let My brilliant Love-Light search out and destroy hidden fears. This process requires time alone with Me, as My Love soaks into your innermost being. ENJOY MY PERFECT LOVE, WHICH EXPELS EVERY TRACE OF FEAR. (Wink! Wink!)”

How can an appointment with God from 5 years ago show up in my appointment with God yesterday, and that very same message show up on top of my Facebook feed from my friend Carol — the exact message I randomly opened to all those years ago?

It can’t — unless God orchestrated it.

And the verse that goes with that July 28th page says it all:

“O Lord, you have searched me and know me. You know when I sit and when I rise up; You perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; and are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O Lord” Psalm 139:1-4

*God whisper: I know when you sit and when you rise. I knew what Meta would write before Meta wrote it. I knew what Carol would post before she posted it. I am familiar with all your ways because I am enthralled with you.

NOBODY CAN TELL ME THIS LINED UP ALL ON ITS OWN!!!! GOD HIMSELF ORCHESTRATED ALL OF THIS TO REMIND US ALL OF HIS DEEP AND INTIMATE INVOLVEMENT IN OUR LIVES AND HIS DEEP, DEEP LOVE FOR US ALL.

WHAT GOD IS TEACHING US — AND HOW YOU CAN LIVE IT

This wasn’t just for me. This is a blueprint for YOU. Whether you’re a husband or a wife, brother or sister, God wants to do this for you too.

1. GOD WANTS THE REAL YOU, NOT THE CLEANED-UP YOU

“Do not try to present a ‘cleaned-up’ self to Me. Wounds that you shut away from the Light of My Love will fester and become wormy.”

*God whisper: The parts you hide are the parts I want to heal most.

For Women: You tend to carry wounds in your heart — the hurt comment, the worry about your kids, the fear you aren’t enough. Don’t shut it away. Bring it into His Light.

For Men: You tend to compartmentalize — that secret stress, that pressure you don’t talk about. If you hide it, it develops a life of its own. Open it to Him.

How to live it today: Don’t pray a pretty prayer. Pray a real one. Say: “God, here’s the part I’m actually afraid to show You…” Then sit for 2 minutes and let His Love-Light search it.

2. LOVE HAS TO SOAK IN — IT TAKES TIME ALONE WITH HIM

“This process requires time alone with Me, as My Love soaks into your innermost being.”

*God whisper: You can’t microwave intimacy. Love has to soak.

For Women: You give and give all day. You need soaking time to be refilled, not just to get through the day but to enjoy being LOVED.

For Men: You are a problem solver. You want to fix it fast. God is saying, don’t just fix it — soak in Me first.

How to live it today: Make an appointment with God like a doctor’s appointment. 10 minutes, same place every day. My husband waiting for our appointment is what triggered my miracle.

3. PERFECT LOVE IS THE ONLY THING THAT EXPELS FEAR

Meta’s line was “Love casts out fear” and God’s book said “Enjoy My perfect Love which expels every trace of fear.”

*God whisper: Fear is the invader. Love is the evictor.

How to live it today: When fear hits, say out loud: “I am LOVED today — and Love casts out fear.” Say it until your inner recesses believe it. Then watch for your double confirmation like I got with Carol.

I don’t want to be God’s favorite by myself. I want you to know you are His favorite too.

So pray the best prayer I’ve ever prayed:

“GOD, I WANT A CLOSER WALK WITH YOU.”

5 VERSES THAT CAPTURE THE ESSENCE

1. 1 John 4:18 – “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear.”
Why: This IS the July 28 message. Fear can’t stay where Love is soaking.

2. Psalm 139:1-4 – “O Lord, you have searched me and know me… Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely.”
Why: Out of 700 pages, the exact page. Out of thousands of posts, Carol at the top. God knew 5 years before it happened.

3. Psalm 27:1 – “The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The LORD is my fortress.”
Why: When fear floods in like an enemy, God Himself becomes our fortress. His Love-Light protects.

4. Ephesians 3:18-19 – “And may you have the power to understand… how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.”
Why: That’s what “seep into the inner recesses” means. Wide enough to cover 5 years, deep enough to find hidden wounds.

5. James 4:8 – “Come near to God and he will come near to you.”
Why: I made an appointment. Every time I came near, He came nearer — with a wink and a double confirmation.

MY MIGHTY CLOSE-OUT PRAYER FOR YOU

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus —

Thank You for being the God who searches us and knows us. You know when we sit and when we rise. Before a word is on our tongue, You know it completely — and You love us completely anyway.

Today we open every inner recess to You. No more cleaned-up selves. No more hiding wounds from Your Love-Light. We bring You the messy, the afraid, the parts we tried to shut away. Let Your brilliant Love seep in and destroy every hidden fear.

We receive Your perfect Love right now. We expel every trace of fear — fear of the future, fear of not being enough, fear of being unseen, fear of being unloved. Your perfect Love casts it OUT!

Be our Light and our Fortress. When we forget how loved we are, remind us with double confirmations.

Give us a hunger for appointment after appointment with You. Real, close, walk-with-You relationship.

We pray: GOD, WE WANT A CLOSER WALK WITH YOU.

Let every woman reading this know she is fully known and fully LOVED. Let every man reading this know he is fully searched and fully seen.

We roll LOVED today. We roll fear-free. We roll soaked, searched, and securely held.
