That was my brother Kevin’s wise words when I didn’t want to get out of bed. LIFE GETS ROUGH SOMETIMES!!!!

Guys, I ran to that God tree listening to brother Ceri’s recordings.
By the time I got there, I didn’t even need to call Kevin back.
I was back in warrior mode. Ready for anything.

That’s why my life’s mission is to teach you this: Start every day with a GOD morning routine.

NOTHING is more important than our relationship with God.

2. This Morning’s GOD Morning Routine

This morning I walked/jogged our home stairs listening to my YouTube prayer via Faith in Prayer @FaithinPrayer-g1m.

Here’s how they ended it today:

_“Every moment spent in prayer strengthens our relationship with Him and reminds us that true peace is found not in our circumstances but in His presence. As we continue to seek Him daily, our faith grows stronger, our perspective becomes clearer, and our hearts become more aligned with His will.

You are not facing this day alone. The Lord goes before you, walks beside you, and remains faithful behind you, surrounding you with His love and protection.

Let this truth remain in your heart throughout the day, guiding your thoughts, shaping your decisions, and giving you confidence whenever challenges arise. You are victorious and you are walking in the fullness of God’s promises for your life. Remain strong.”_

God Whisper: I go before you. I walk beside you. I’m behind you. You’re covered.

Heehaw! My mind loves to dwell on the negatives. That’s my biggest problem.
But starting my day aligned with God reminds me: He walks with me.

That gives me peace, joy, strength, and courage to take on the day.
No more figuring life out alone.
It’s He and I, together, tackling my life.

I do my best in the physical realm.

And I trust God is working in the spiritual realm, fighting battles I don’t even know about.

3. My High Five from God – Habakkuk 3:17-19

Next, I sit by our prayer altar. I read Jesus Calling and our family’s website werollwithgod.com. I’m reminded of all the times God came through.

This morning, this verse showed up.
It showed up yesterday too.
That’s God speaking to us all today:

_“Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the LORD!

I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! The Sovereign LORD is my strength! He makes me as surefooted as a deer, able to tread upon the heights.” – Habakkuk 3:17-19_

God Whisper: Even at 1%, I’m your 100%. I’m your surefooted strength.

4. The God Perspective on 1%

The reason we can rejoice no matter what is our faith and confidence in God.

Even if we’re down to our 1%, we remember:
The God who always has 100% is helping us.
By His Strength, situations will be handled.

Even when we see no way, God makes the impossible, possible.

It’s just for us to:
1. Get up every day with our eyes fixed on God
2. Ask for His guidance in the 1,000 decisions we make
3. Do our best to follow His lead

We won’t get it right all the time. But we keep trying.

Even at 1%? No problem.
If all we can do is crawl, we start crawling.

OUR HELP COMES FROM THE LORD!!!

WE ROLL WITH GOD…WE ROLL WITH PEACE, WISDOM, FAITH, STRENGTH, JOY, LOVE, MERCY & KINDNESS

Meta: What Neeks Is Really Teaching You in This Blog

The Big Idea in One Sentence:
When life feels empty or you only have 1% left, you don’t have to do it alone. God is with you, and starting your day with Him changes everything.

Let’s break it down into 3 simple parts:

1. The “God Tree” = Your Reset Button
My brother Kevin told me: “NEEKS, CALL ME WHEN YOU ARE AT YOUR GOD TREE”
That’s code for: “Go talk to God first before you do anything else.”

I was stuck in bed, feeling heavy. I ran to my “God Tree” – my prayer spot – and played brother Ceri’s recordings.
What happened? I didn’t need Kevin anymore. I felt strong again. Warrior mode: ON.

What this means for you:
Everyone has “don’t wanna get out of bed” days. Your “God Tree” can be anywhere. Your bedroom. Your car. A walk. It’s just a place where you stop, breathe, and let God in first.
Lesson: Don’t fight your bad mood alone. Go to God first. He turns stuck into strong.

2. The “GOD Morning Routine” = Putting God in Charge of Your Day

Neeks says her life mission is to tell you: Start every day with God. NOTHING is more important than your relationship with Him.

This morning she walked her stairs and listened to a prayer. The prayer said:
“You are not facing this day alone. The Lord goes before you, walks beside you, and remains faithful behind you.”

What this means for you:
Think of God like a teammate who shows up before the game starts.
– He goes before you = He’s already handling stuff you don’t see yet
– He walks beside you = He’s with you in real time
– He’s behind you = He’s got your back, covering you

Neeks admits her brain goes negative fast. Same for a lot of us.
But when she starts with God, she gets peace, joy, strength, and courage.
Lesson: You + God is a better team than You by yourself. Do your part, trust God for the rest. He’s fighting battles you can’t even see.

3. “Even at 1%” = Habakkuk 3:17-19 is Your Permission Slip to Rejoice Anyway
This is the heart of the blog. Neeks read Habakkuk 3:17-19 twice in two days. That’s her “high five from God.”

The verse says: “Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and the fields are empty and barren… YET I will rejoice in the LORD! The Sovereign LORD is my strength! He makes me surefooted like a deer.”

Translation for real life:
– Fig trees with no blossoms = Your goals aren’t growing
– Empty fields and barns = Your bank account, your energy, your relationships feel empty
– Flocks die in the fields = Your plans failed

Old you says: “If everything’s bad, I should be sad and quit.”
God Perspective says: “Even at 1%, I still have joy because MY STRENGTH is the Lord.”

What this means for you:

You don’t have to wait until life is perfect to be okay.
God doesn’t need you at 100%. He works best when you show up with your 1%.
If all you can do is crawl, then crawl. He’ll give you deer feet for the climb later.

Lesson: Your joy isn’t based on your circumstances. It’s based on Who’s with you. God always has 100%, even when you only have 1%.

So What’s Neeks Actually Asking You To Do?

3 Steps You Can Try Today, No Matter Your Age:

1.Find your “God Tree”: 5 minutes. No phone scrolling. Just talk to God or listen to a prayer song.
2.Pick your “1% move”: Can’t run a marathon? Walk. Can’t pray for an hour? Say “God, help me today.” If all you can do is crawl, crawl.
3.Remember who’s on your team: You’re not alone in this. God goes before you, beside you, behind you.

Bottom Line Neeks Wants You to Know:

The God Perspective changes everything.
Bad day? God’s there. KEEP YOUR FOCUS ON GOD NO MATTER WHAT IS GOING ON AROUND YOU.
Empty stalls? God’s still your strength.
Only 1% left? That’s enough for Him to work with.

OUR HELP COMES FROM THE LORD!!!
WE ROLL WITH GOD…WE ROLL WITH PEACE, WISDOM, FAITH, STRENGTH, JOY, LOVE, MERCY & KINDNESS

1. Habakkuk 3:17-19 – Your Main Verse, Your High Five from God

“Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the LORD! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! The Sovereign LORD is my strength! He makes me as surefooted as a deer, able to tread upon the heights.”

3. Deuteronomy 31:8 – Your “God Tree” Promise

“The LORD Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

Why it fits: This backs up the prayer you heard: “He goes before you, walks beside you, remains faithful behind you.” God’s already at your tree waiting.

Father God,

Thank You for meeting us at our “God Tree.”

Thank You that we don’t have to wait until we feel 100% to come to You.

For anyone reading this who’s at 1% today, who feels like the stalls are empty, we declare Habakkuk 3:18 over them: Yet we will rejoice in the LORD!

Give us deer feet for the high places.

When our minds go to the negative, remind us that You go before us, walk beside us, and remain faithful behind us.

Teach us to start every day with You.

Make our relationship with You the most important thing we do.

We’ll do our best in the physical realm,
And we trust You to fight the battles in the spiritual realm that we can’t even see.

If all we can do is crawl today, give us the strength to start crawling.
Because OUR HELP COMES FROM YOU, LORD.

We roll with You God. We roll with Peace, Wisdom, Faith, Strength, Joy, Love, Mercy & Kindness.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
