JULIE’S TICKET CAME IN THE MAILHer traffic ticket for running a red light! I wrote about it in this post from a month ago:““NIKKI, DON’T MOVE!!!”That’s what I felt God, surprisingly, in my spirit telling me yesterday when I was at a green light, that I shouldn’t move. The next thing I knew, my precious daughter, Julie, came out in front of me, accidentally running the red light at the exact intersection where God told me to stop. There was a truck in front of her, and she didn’t see that the light had turned red. I can’t get over God’s love for our family to have me, of all people, at that light to stop and protect her from being hit by another vehicle. No way this was some coincidence, but God HIMSELF protecting her from harm. We had a meeting to attend together, but I told her I would meet her there because I had a lot going on. God just timed everything perfectly! Thank God for me, guys! His love is too much!!!””God told me He would be Julie’s protecting in that car from the first time I drove it to test it out for her. “How do you know He said that?” my nephew, Duro, asked me this morning when I told him the story. I explained to Him how I’ve gotten to learn God’s voice. That very first drive in the car was filled with God winks, where everything lined up too perfectly to be coincidences. Like God was personally saying, I will be Julie’s protection in this car, Nik, don’t worry. And look how He kept His promise, by me, of all people, to be there to protect her. God’s love, favor, and protection are following us wherever we go, baby! “Taste and see that the Lord is good.”This morning, after dropping the boys to school on an especially rough day, I looked down at the trip odometer on our driveway, and it incredibly ended in “3113.” I’ve written so many times how this “311” is God reminding me to be still, relax, and know that He is God. That I can trust Him from the bottom of my heart and not lean on my own understanding. In all my ways, I should acknowledge Him, and He will guide my path. Proverbs 3:5-6!Today, waking up for my appointment with Him, He reminded me of the crosses He asked me to carry and that He will be my strength so that I can joyfully and lovingly take them. I smiled with Him, reminded that these crosses are only specs of crosses compared to the crosses some others carry, and said, ‘No problem, Boss! Anything for You!’I pray you guys are getting the message that God has to be our first love and priority! We just have to keep looking to Him on a moment-by-moment basis, asking what He would have you to do. I want our entire lives intertwined with God, seeking always to please Him in the 1,000 decisions we make every day. Super tough sometimes, but with God’s strength, WE CAN DO ALL THINGS!!! AMEN!!!WEROLLWITHGOD.COM#FAITH#LOVE#HOPE#GOD
