GOD’S PRESENCE IS ALWAYS WITH ME, BABY!!!

He makes me feel like the most loved person in the world with all the attention I receive from Him. Like the other evening, Ember came home from work, and I immediately started singing this song to her:

“Motownphilly’s back again

Doin’ a little East Coast swing” – Boyz II Men

Fast forward an hour or so later, I’m watching my fav show lately, New Girl. At the very end of the first episode I continued watching from, OF ALL THE SONGS IN THE WORLD, can you believe the characters of the show ended up singing these exact lyrics:

“Motownphilly’s back again

Doin’ a little East Coast swing”

There are like 7 seasons of this show on Netflix, and I’m on 5th one. So, this again lined up too perfectly to be considered some ordinary coincidence. It was another one of my God winks. He lovingly orchestrated this to let me know His invisible Presence is always with me. For the very lyrics I sang to Ember to be sung by the characters of this show on the very episode I continued watching from was God showing me His deep, deep love. And this love is for you too! I’m just the God maniac here who pays attention to all these glimpses of His Presence to report back to you so you too can begin to feel His invisible Presence in your life.

Like I felt crazy telling you guys about this “311” showing up two places and how it was God telling me to be quiet in the middle of a conversation with my husband when I wanted to spew out everything I was angry with him about. THIS MARRIAGE THING IS NOT EASY!!! But God confirmed that it was indeed Him with this post showing up on Tumblr:

“Don’t waste words on people who deserve your silence. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can say is nothing at all.” – Mandy Hale

God said I should overwhelm the leaders who work hard for me with love and respect, and my husband goes overboard with his responsibilities as a husband and father. And if anyone deserves my silence, it’s my husband. He has really been our gift from God. I get to live this very gorgeous life with him and our super kids. Like my brother, Kevin, told me one day: “Neeks, you have a husband who takes good care of you and your children. He respects you, and there is nothing more you can ask for than that.”

God also spoke to me through another meditation book which talked about the wheat and the weed. We all have weeds growing in our souls but we must not let the weeds overshadow the wheat. I have so much wheat (good) with my husband that when the weeds (bad) show up, I have to just overlook them and focus on all the good in him. That goes for all our significant relationships! Wink! Wink!

“Don’t ever let love and loyalty leave you. Tie them around your neck, and write them on your heart. Then God will be pleased and think well of you and so will everyone else.” – Proverbs 3:3-4 ERV
