PLEASE DON’T MENTION THAT AGAIN!!!

That was me to my daughter, Julie, after she jumped to fight for her sister’s rights to transfer from the university she is currently attending. I explained to her it was the same situation when everyone in the family turned against me when I wanted her to leave high school early and begin college. I’m so happy a customer, Richard, explained to both what’s going on with me:

“You guys may not understand your mom’s decisions now, but stick with her. Support her. Love her. Your mom is in a heavenly realm where she makes decisions with God. Just trust her and listen to her.”

And this is where I want us all, making decisions with God! Not always easy, like when Julie started the college-level classes, I went to her bedroom, and my baby was crying in front of her computer, having a meltdown because she didn’t fully understand what was required of her. She didn’t submit an assignment on time. I freaked out, thinking I had made a mistake by prematurely forcing her out of high school. Still, my baby girl needed that college experience to get her out of her comfort zone and step up to be the mature lady ready to tackle university far away from her parents in New York City, baby! Between college and coming to work at our family business a few times a week, our daughter is ready, by the grace of God. Amen!

I say that to you guys to explain that this is what God does to us. He knows the experiences we need to get us out of our comfort zones, tougher, stronger, braver, and more courageous. Still, at the same time, more loving, merciful, kinder, wiser, and most importantly, CLOSER TO HIM TO BE THE PEOPLE HE HAS DESIGNED US TO BE. God, I’m on to You! (HUGE SMILE)

Like your girl right now! I don’t like what God is always doing to me, but I can look back on some of the worst days and see God showing up for me and pulling me closer to His heart, where He wants all of us. I love my winks from Him yesterday when I looked to hear from Him in a difficult moment. I first randomly picked a post on Facebook to reread, and out of all of them, I ended up reading one entitled:

“MOMMY, YOU’RE THE ONE WHO PUTS THE RANGE IN THE ROVER!”

Still needing to hear more from God (No shame! Life gets rough!) I went to my old YouTube videos, and I literally closed my eyes, asking God to select the one He wanted me to watch. Incredibly it was me telling this same story of Joshie telling me that I was the one who put the Range in the Rover. Tell me, how could this line up so perfectly on its own. From the hundreds of videos on YouTube and the hundreds on Facebook, for me to read and watch myself tell the same story in both places within minutes of each other was all God reminding me that His Presence was there with me. No coincidence! The sweetness of God!

Then, I felt crazy telling you guys about Drake’s song Nonstop playing in the restaurant on Sunday and again the following day on a brief fifteen-minute run with God, out of my entire music library of over 800 songs. Can you believe that today on my run, the same thing happened where God had the song to play with these lyrics being rapped by Lil Kim:

“I’M THE ONE WHO PUTS THE RANGE IN THE ROVER!” – The Jump Off

See God’s fun personality? When I heard that song play, I just smiled, reminded that no matter what comes my way, God Himself stands with me. With you, too!! It’s just for us to learn His voice and what he is saying directly to us at every moment of the day. See how I took that time to seek God in that alone time with Him? That’s how you learn His voice, through spending alone times with Him. Let me tell ya, not one moment seeking Him is wasted. I want us to pray all day, every day and include God in all our decisions. Amen. This verse has been showing up a lot with Him reminding me that He was my peace no matter the troublesome situations:

“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]” – John 16:33

THIS IS THE CLOSEST I’VE EVER FELT TO GOD

(HUGE SMILE)

He has been showing up, showing up and showing up for me! Like today, I woke up late after having to go and pick up my son, Emmie, at 4 am from school. Still needing to go to work, I asked my daughter, Ember, to ask Siri on her Apple phone whether or not I should go for a run or if I could skip and rush out to the office. Siri picked choice number of two which meant that I should run.

I get under my God tree and a customer ends up calling and saying this specifically:

“Vengeance is mines says the Lord.”

Minutes after speaking to Him, it was 59 minutes past the hour and I go to page 59 of our family’s website and look what incredibly showed up there:

“Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, says the Lord.” But if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink.” – Romans 12:19-20

Is that incredible or what? For all the verses in the entire Bible, for this very one that this customer to repeat to me this morning in that call to show up at precisely 59 minutes on page 59 of our website was again everything lining up too perfect to be some ordinary coincidence. It was all God orchestrated with Him sweetly revealing His invisible Presence with me, as if saying, ‘Nik, I’m with you in every moment of your life and I know everything about you. We’re together!!!’

That customer and I had such a great conversation with him saying, “You’re a warrior! You’re a strong woman.” I explained to him how in looking back over the past few years, God has certainly been my strength to get where I am (I give Him all the glory and praise!) This message also showed up on page 59, written as if God was speaking to us:

“Never alone; you know that. Then let it be a source of strength to you. Strength to speak to Me, since I am there. Strength to act, since I can help you, particularly when you speak to others. Ask Me to speak through you. Never alone! What a joy for you! Could you ever thank Me enough?” – He and I

God, I can never thank You enough! And knowing God is close to me is what gives me the peace to joyfully live my life with Him no matter the challenges!

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” – John 14:27

Make sure you are praying for a closer walk with Him! I promise you, the best life is lived close to God where you have access to His love, help, support, wisdom, and favor on a moment by moment basis! He wants to reveal His Presence with you too, but He is like a shy person waiting in the background of your life waiting for you to invite Him in. May 2022 bring us all closer to Him. Amen!

“THE AWARENESS OF GOD’S PRESENCE IS WHAT GIVES YOU THE COURAGE TO KEEP GOING”

This statement from Dr. Charles Stanley yesterday blew me away when I was very low on courage. As usual, God has been sweetly revealing His invisible Presence so strongly with me. What you may call a coincidence, I call a God wink with Him saying, ‘Nik, have no fear, I am here!’ (HUGE SMILE)

Like yesterday driving home with my daughter, Ember, we spoke about her fav car that we sold to a lovely family wanting a car for their daughter over a year ago. That very customer ended up calling me today needing some information for the bank that financed him. I needed to text him, and his telephone number ended in 311. Later on, telling Ember about it, I reminded her of the importance of this 311 that God used to remind me to stay on the high road with him when her dad was not agreeing for her to go to New York to university. God even went as far as having a massive billboard with this 311 printed on it as a reminder on my way home one evening. Ember forgot all about it, and as I looked at the time, it was precisely 3:11 as we were having that conversation (Wink! Wink!). That 311 and staying on the high road with God is working! He exceeds my expectations! Ember came home a new person. The university is doing an excellent job. I told Ember to not even think about leaving there because God Himself picked it for her.

An hour later, or so, a customer came in, and I needed her work telephone number. It included the number 311, and I told her that it was special to me and that God was here with us. The payment I ended up getting for her turned out to be too high, so I called the lady at the bank to see if we could get it any lower. Unbelievably the bank rep says, “I can give her a $311 (Wink! Wink!) payment; my boss just has to approve it.”

Then, I went back to purchasing inventory today (the family hustle continues, baby, with the help of God), and I showed my daughter, Julie, what I had purchased from Champion Auto, saying, “That’s your momma, I’m a champion!” And let me tell ya how funny God is, at that precise moment, He drew my attention to Julie’s sock with the Champion brand logo on it! Like God Himself was saying, ‘Wink! Wink! My Nik, you are My Champion!’

Honestly, the burdens get so overwhelming, but that’s where a relationship with God comes in, as He continuously has this verse to come up:

“So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” – Isaiah 41:10

And helping me He is! Today, on the ride to work, Julie says, “Forget summer break! I will do my best to help you as much as I can.” This was after the customer from yesterday told her and her sister Ember that I needed more of their support. I was so happy passing on my values to her today about giving our best in every task and then leaving the rest for God, who can tweak situations on our behalf in the spiritual realm with His favor (He is excellent at that!). Wink! Wink! Have no fear; God is here! Amen!

BACK TO CRYING HAPPY TEARS

That was me this morning returning home from my God tree and meeting my two beautiful daughters sitting at our dining room table working together to help me with some vital family hustle work. I was blown away by God’s kindness to my family and me. I told you guys that God has this verse coming up all over the place as a special message to me:

“So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10

Seeing my daughters helping me and supporting me was all God at work in my life. I wrote this about a customer who showed up at our office this week and had this to say to them:“You guys may not understand your mom’s decisions now but stick with her. Support her. Love her. Your mom is in a heavenly realm where she makes decisions with God. Just trust her and listen to her.”The message sank in with Julie saying, “Forget summer break. Whatever you need my help with mom, just tell me.”

So to see Ember joining her to help me when I’m feeling so overwhelmed by my life truly brought me to my knees, thanking God for these beautiful daughters that He has helped us raise to be so hardworking, focused, intelligent, loving, and kind. I’m blessed and I give all the glory to God, our Co-Parent! I just walked to pick up a car from a mechanic shop, and I passed a sign with one word that has become so crucial to my relationship with God: Synergy.

Your girl here honestly hasn’t been her strongest self, but even at my lowest and weakest times, God has been with me, helping me as He promised in this post from over one year ago:Tell me about it! I say I fall a million times, but God helps me to get up a million and one. In fact, these falls are what push me even closer to God (Go figure).

Yesterday, a friend and I had one of our sacred conversations, and I said to her that my daughter and her son have great “SYNERGY.” After feeling a bit “weak” from the fasting I’m doing, I decided to just chill and have some time alone with God by reading my meditation book, Jesus Always. And of all words to show up, look what sweet message God had for me there in that weak moment (written as if He is speaking to me):”LEARN TO LEAN ON ME more and more. I know the full extent of your weakness, and that is where My powerful Presence meets you! My strength and your weakness fit together perfectly—in a wonderful SYNERGY (Wink! Wink!) designed long before your birth. Actually, My Power is most effective in weakness. This is counterintuitive and mysterious, yet it is true.

It is important to lean on Me when you’re feeling inadequate or overwhelmed. Remind yourself that you and I together are more than adequate. To sense my nearness, try closing your hand as if you’re holding on to Mine. For I take hold of your right hand and say to you, “Do not fear; I will help you.””No way that was a coincidence that that word synergy showed up minutes after that conversation with my friend. It was another glimmer of God’s invisible presence, reminding us that He will be with us even at our weakest. No shame! I can boast of my weaknesses because those are when God stands even stronger with me. He is with you too! Just tell Him you want a closer walk with Him.

It will not always be easy, but you will know without any doubt (like me this morning seeing my daughters at that table helping and supporting me) that God is always with us. It’s just for us to show up giving our best .01% as He gives us 99.9% support by working in the spiritual realm on our behalf. Wink! Wink!

GOD SHOWERS ME WITH ALL HIS ATTENTION

That’s my testimony, baby! Yesterday this was the header of my blog (a quote from Dr. Charles Stanley that I love):

“THE AWARENESS OF GOD’S PRESENCE IS WHAT GIVES YOU THE COURAGE TO KEEP GOING”

Can you believe God went to the trouble to confirm that His Presence is truly with me? I sat in my car this morning, waiting for Julie to join me to go to work together. I thought of having an appointment with God. Debating where to go to hear from Him, I finally decided on Jesus Calling, my fav meditation book that has brought me so close to God. My Nook electronic reader asked if I wanted to go where I had left off reading on another device, and I said yes. The book was written as if God was speaking directly to us, and look at the message it took me straight to:

“It is through AWARENESS OF MY PRESENCE (Wink! Wink!) that Peace displaces negative feelings.”

Tell me, how could this be considered some ordinary coincidence for those words “AWARENESS OF MY PRESENCE” to show up in this 365-day devotional? For me to decide yesterday to have this long title, feeling in my spirit that this was the message God Himself wanted you guys to know: “THE AWARENESS OF GOD’S PRESENCE IS WHAT GIVES YOU THE COURAGE TO KEEP GOING.” And then for me to talk to Him asking where I can go to hear from Him, and He confirms those very words. GOD SHOWERS ME WITH ALL HIS ATTENTION! (HUGE SMILE)

Then, Ember woke up this morning complaining about a sprained ankle. I said to her, “Pain is a part of life, sweetie! Get over it!” I then get to my God tree (where I meet with God most mornings on my jogs), and it was precisely 33 minutes past the hour, so I went this time to our family’s website page 33, and look what incredibly showed up:

“I’m a pretty tough momma, so whenever my kids complain to me about feeling pain somewhere, I simply respond, “Pain is a part of life, sweetie! Get over it.”

For my very conversation with my daughter a few minutes before reading that, to show up was all God again, making me aware that His invisible Presence is ALWAYS with me. Like he was saying, ‘Nik, I was there when you had that conversation with Ember a few minutes ago!’ No way these words just showed up randomly on their own. God got me to that tree precisely at 33 minutes past the hour to go to page 33 of our family’s website to let me know He was by my side as I courageously tackled my life with Him as my Partner and Guide.

And He is with you, too! I’m just the God nerd here to remind you that this life is too hard to do on our own; WE NEED GOD! Make sure you are making Him your priority. No shame in my game, I go to that tree looking for some glimmer of His presence just to take on my day joyfully, peacefully, and bravely and He sweetly shows up as if saying, NIK, I’M WITH YOU! I’M WITH YOU! I’M WITH YOU!’

“This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:9

“NO ONE COULD UNDERSTAND YOUR NARRATIVES”

That’s the important feedback I got yesterday from a post where I shared about one of my God winks with the number combination “81111” showing up in a friend’s telephone number that I felt God nudging me in my spirit to pay attention to (I actually stared at the number for a few seconds). Then a couple of hours later, I’m at the airport picking up my daughter, Ember, and the same “81111” is printed all over so many taxis there as the ending digits of the cab company’s telephone number. Once again, I considered this lined up too perfectly to be regarded as an ordinary coincidence. It was God’s sweet way of letting me know that His invisible Presence was also there with me to welcome Ember home.

Do you guys get that? God is real talkative, and it’s my honor and privilege to share with you how He communicates with us. Another person read the same post and had this to say:

“Thanks for sharing this message. God is reminding me of His Presence through numbers as well. It’s amazing that it was happening for years now, and I didn’t realize previously what it meant. I’m so thankful for those reminders of His Presence.”

God also talks to me through people like my brother/angel, Kevin. To be very honest with you guys, I don’t know where I would be right now if I didn’t have this brother holding my hands through the last three most difficult years of my life. His genuine love, support, kindness, strength, joy, wisdom, and patience were there with me as I took on an extraordinary sacrifice for my girls. I brought them to the US to finish their high school education, saying, “Let’s do hard things for God’s glory.” No joke, it has been THE HARDEST THING of my life!!! But God sent support: Kevin! Kevin is so funny. He sent me a voice message recently, “Neeks, I’ve realized that my special assignment from God is to keep you happy.” (HUGE SMILE) Thanks, my vro (valuable treasure!)!

And to really demonstrate how talkative God is, just this morning, I read this reminder from Kevin in my appointment with Him:

“Every day. Every day. Every day, my sister. Every day. Accumulate a little more strength, and you will see the most powerful woman you’ve ever seen in your life. Don’t mind all the noise around you. Work on that which you just sent me. You have to work on being a stronger person. And I don’t mean because you feel good today. The more strength you build up, the more muscle mass you build up, the stronger you are when you need that strength. I told you before you don’t pray for things not to happen; you pray for strength to deal with things when they happen. And things are happening. Every day. Every day. Every day. Every day. Take care of yourself.”

After reading that, I go for my run, and I see a duck. What’s the spiritual significance of a duck? I asked Google one day, and it astonishingly symbolizes STRENGTH. I then had to jump in my car to quickly go somewhere. On the radio station is a pastor saying specifically this, “I want you to learn to pray to God for STRENGTH. For the endurance and patience to handle the difficulties of your life.”

Told ya, God is quite talkative! Tell me, how could all of that line up as simply ordinary coincidences? God perfectly orchestrated the message from Kevin, the duck, and that pastor to remind me that HE IS MY STRENGTH as I take on my life lovingly, joyfully, and courageously with Him by my side. This is a reminder to you, too, WE ARE NOT ALONE; WE HAVE GOD. Amen.

MY BOO IS BACK!!

My daughter, Ember, from her first semester at university, and God showed up at the airport to meet her. I assured her that I would be there to pick her up, and God figured out a sweet way to let us know that His Presence was also there to welcome her back home for the summer.

This God wink started with a friend calling me a few hours before I was to pick up Ember. Right after the call, I felt God take my eyes to her telephone number, telling me to specifically pay attention to the “81111.” Guys, I got to the airport, and it was filled with yellow taxis with the telephone numbers unbelievably ending in “81111.” Wow! I was blown away by God, knowing that this was no coincidence that He had me staring at my friend’s number as if saying, ‘Nik, notice the 81111.’ That again lined up too perfectly to be some ordinary coincidence; it was God’s loving way of revealing His invisible Presence with us. (HUGE SMILE)

I got inside and immediately started questioning Ember about her appointments with God. She showed me what she had read in her last alone time with Him:

“I WANT YOU TO KNOW how safe and secure you are in My Presence…I will walk with you till the end of time and onward into eternity…When you forget I am with you, you may experience loneliness or fear. It is through awareness of My Presence that peace displaces negative feelings. Practice the discipline of walking consciously with Me through each day.” – Jesus Calling by Sarah Young

This was the exact message I felt Him saying to me under our tree recently that He wants me to practice this discipline of always walking with Him, and where I want us all, knowing that there is never a moment that He is not with us. God showing up at the airport to welcome Ember was the love He shows me and my family that I want you guys to feel for yourselves. I’m only the God nerd who pays serious attention to these glimpses of Hs invisible Presence to report back to you guys.

Both Ember and I cried seeing each other. Absence does indeed makes the heart grow fonder! The mom who was happy to say, ‘Here university, you take over raising her,’ was there eager to pick her up as we both held on to each other for the longest crying happy tears. Thank You, God, for this fierce, wonderful, and wise daughter who, along with my other kids, are pushing me out of my comfort zone to step up my game in every aspect of my life. And honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way!

I’ve even made this the summer of their dad, where I will do my best to teach them the values I’m learning from my hubby. I cried today when he surprisingly called me when I was having an appointment with God reading about faithfulness and immediately thought of hubs. I got all emotional reading it to him:

“The faithful person is dependable in all kinds of circumstances. This is a much-desired characteristic in others with whom we have any kind of relationship. We all need to be people of faithfulness!”

Hubs goes overboard in his responsibilities to us! We may go through our ups and downs, but at the end of the day, I know I have a ride or die hubby, and he knows that He has a ride or die wife. No breaking up here! God has become the crucial center of our lives where we try to honor him in our decisions. We may get it wrong lots, but we keep striving to be the people God would have us to be. I’m following the advice of Dr. Charles Stanley, who said to obey God and leave the consequences to Him. Right now, I’m on chill (silent) mode where God says to stay on the high road with Him going overboard in love and support. For this God who is taking such great care of us, I say, ‘Anything to please You, let me learn.’

I NEED YOUR COURAGE, BOO!!!

That was me to my husband this morning! Your girl has a lot on her right now, but guess who showed up to give me the needed courage? GOD!!! Here’s how this God wink went down:

So, whenever I think about delegating the dropping of the boys to school to my daughters, God tells me in my spirit, ‘No way, Ms. Nikki, you will do no such thing! This is too important a job!’ That’s where we have crucial appointments with God together, with my sons taking turns reading from our ‘Purpose Driven Life Devotional For Kids’ by Rick Warren. Who am I to argue with God?

This morning, as I sat waiting for my sons to come in the car, I read Joel Osteen’s email message for today, which quoted this verse:

“About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.” – Acts 16:25

Fast forward to Joshie picking from the kid’s devotional, out of 365 days, he astonishingly read this:

“About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.” – Acts 16:25

Wow! I couldn’t believe it! The exact verse from Joel Osteen’s email I had read minutes prior while waiting for them. Again, that’s one of my famous God winks where everything lined up a little bit too perfect to be considered a random coincidence. For this one verse to show up in both places of the entire Bible was God Himself revealing His invisible Presence there with my sons and me. I then get to my running field by my God tree to have an appointment with Him. Dr. Charles Stanley amazingly says, “The awareness of God’s Presence is what gives you the COURAGE to keep going.” Wink! Wink!

Why would God reveal Himself to us? I questioned the boys! That’s the love I want you to know and experience for yourself. Honestly, that boosted my confidence so high today because I knew without any doubt that this was God letting me know that as I take on these overwhelming at times burdens, He was there standing strong with me. HEEHAW!!!

While the girls and I had some urgent work to do for my husband, a customer sweetly waited for us to return, and he ended up purchasing a car from us. Let me tell you, this customer built up my faith even more in God. He had a great talk with the girls about something we always argue about. He said, “You guys may not understand your mom’s decisions now but stick with her. Support her. Love her. Your mom is in a heavenly realm where she makes decisions with God. Just trust her and listen to her.”

Honestly, he took my faith in God to another level when he spoke about losing everything, but he was determined to build himself back up, knowing God was with him. Today, I told my nephew, Duro, that I’m down to nothing (very little inventory), but I’m giving my nothing to God, who created the entire world from nothing. This customer also encouraged me to read Psalm 31 every day and pray over the girls. See the favor of God in action! This customer was headed to another nearby car dealership, but when he saw a car that I recently had them place in the front and center of ours, he saw it and stopped. My help comes from the Lord, baby!

IS THIS LADY STUPID AND CRAZY?

I’m sure many people ask about me sharing my stories about how God Himself (only the Creator of the entire universe) reveals His invisible Presence to let me know that He is intimately involved in my life and how I feel Him directing me on a moment-by-moment basis as to what He would have me to do, what He would have me to say and where He would have me to go. It sounds insane, but that’s the great news I have for you guys; we don’t have to handle life alone; We have God (HUGE SMILE).

Are you tapping into His crucial voice for guidance in your life? Like I wrote recently about how God uses the number “211” to say that my daughter Julie’s dream university in New York is, without any doubt, where He wants her to attend. To the point that I say that if she doesn’t go there, God would be upset at me. Again, I know this sounds crazy, but this communication from God started when Julie and I dropped Ember off at her university back in January. We had an adventure day where we walked, caught a train, caught another train, caught a bus, and then walked to see where Julie wanted to attend. I wrote this the next day:

“Another wink we had yesterday was when the number 211 kept showing up for me, and we got to a university Julie wanted to visit, and incredibly the number on the building was 2011.”

Oh my goodness, the way this 211 has been showing up is just making me cry how much God is showing Himself on behalf of Julie. After she called her sister and I spoilt, I said you’re spoilt too by God. She needs some help from me, and I’ve been procrastinating about doing it, and now God Himself is on my case to make it happen for her. Yesterday we were at the office together, and we had some batteries delivered, and as the truck was leaving, I asked if we had paid for them. He said no, and I called him back into the office so I could issue a check. We needed to pay for another invoice from their previous visit, which turned out to have taken place at precisely 2:11 pm. I gave Julie the longest hug knowing this was God again, revealing Himself with us.

Even that morning, the phone in my office kept beeping, saying there were messages saved. There were only two, and one took place again at exactly 2:11 pm. I showed a pic of it to the amazed battery guy. So many times just this week, 211 has been showing up that it has been crazy. Julie had to replace her phone, and the model number was 211. We needed to call a bank, and their number included 211. I sold a car, and the insurance company’s telephone number also included 211. I gave someone a ride, and exactly where I stopped to drop them off, apartment number 211 was directly ahead of me. God has seriously been on my case to make this happen for Julie! No coincidences!! This morning, no procrastinating; I got what Julie needed completed! I don’t want God mad at me (HUGE SMILE AGAIN).

This is the love He shows our family! He is personally involved with everything that is going on with us. Like I can’t stop thanking God for the year my boys had at a new school that totally took them out of their comfort zones. They needed a shake-up in a new environment, and they are new people now! That’s why I say God exceeds my expectations. Ember commented to me that it had looked like I had abandoned my sons, and now I confidently tell her, “Look at my boys now!” It was a big fight with my husband to make this happen, but God stood with me. Now, I’m just thanking this hubby for everything he does for us. Thanks, better than best husband!

I was counseling someone today about this marriage thing, and I told them how hubs and I had WAR on Good Friday because of some things he kept saying, but it was good for us to hash out our feelings. Julie later told me that it inspired her for when she gets married to know that yes, husband and wives fight, but then she sees her dad and I make up and love each other even more. The fights bring us closer and more committed. Go figure! God has been the center of our family, and we’re sticking with Him all the way! When He told me in my spirit to call off the war and go back to being the best wife on the high road with Him, I said no problem. God is doing so much for our family that I just want to live every moment doing my best to please Him no matter what anyone else is doing.

“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7
