This is the greatest, the greatest, the greatest news ever. We have Papa God rolling with us on the daily.

Today I was running to the God Tree. I saw the number 140. So I went to page 140 of our family’s website, WeRollWithGod.com. It was an old post about a 5K run. Julie and I have these undisclosed competitions about who will finish a 5K first. One day I beat her. It was 16-year-old Julie versus 46-year-old me, and I was bragging how I beat her. But God had something else for me on that page.

God Whisper: My daughter, I led you to 140 on purpose. I have something I want to show you.

Expose The Darkness

Our daughter Julie is the one who says, “The darkness must be exposed, guys.” The darkness is anything we have hidden. It has to be exposed.

God Whisper: Nothing hidden is wasted when you bring it to My light. Bring it to Me.

What He Said To Me in “He and I”

In my meditation book, He and I, God speaks as if He is speaking directly to us. This is what He said:

“Don’t you understand that I prefer someone who has fallen many times but who despises himself at My feet, to the self-righteous person who thinks he’s without fault? My little girl, tell Me every day how sorry you are for the way you have pained Me. Take a steady look at your failures and offer them to Me so that I may wash them away. Tell Me how weak you are and how often you fail. Say, ‘My great friend, help me. You know only too well how helpless I am. But with You I can do anything.'”

God Whisper: I don’t want your perfection, My little girl. I want your honesty. Tell Me you are sorry. Tell Me you are weak. I will wash it away.

Boast of Your Weaknesses

So like Julie said, expose the darkness, guys. Expose your sins. Expose them to God. Go to God and say, “God help me. Here’s where I’m failing. God, help me. Help me. Help me.”

Guys, we can boast of our weaknesses. Do you hear me? We can boast of our faults and our failings because that’s when Almighty God comes in. His power is made perfect in our weakness.

God Whisper: Your weakness is not your shame. It is the doorway for My power. Boast in it, so I can come.

So don’t run from the darkness. Expose the darkness to the light of God. Say, “God, help me with this sin here, this thing I’m doing here.” Any messy situation you have, any fault you have, any problem you have — invite God in. He is the cleanup crew. He is the entire cleanup crew. We just have to show up and do our 0.00001%. And He, in the spiritual realm, does His 99.99999%.

God Whisper: You do the tiny part — showing up. I will do the rest. I am your cleanup crew.

That’s why we can boast of our weaknesses — because we don’t handle our situations alone.

My God Morning Routine – Running to God All Day

I go every day to my God Tree. God, help me. Here’s what I’m dealing with here, God. Help me with this. Help me with that. No shame again. I run to God all day, every day. And I want the whole world here with me, running to God.

This is the great invitation from Him to come to Him. Come to Him. Come to Him. Whatever you have going on, bring it to God. Any sin, any failure, even if you have to come back every day and say, “God, I messed up again.” No problem. Tomorrow you go back again. “God, I messed up again.” No problem. Just come boldly, boldly, boldly, boldly to God. Tell Him where you’re failing. “God, I need Your strength to help me _____________.”

God Whisper: Come boldly. There is no limit on how many times you can come back to Me. My mercy is daily. Come again.

We Got God On Our Side

Wake up every day. I have my God morning routine. Nothing, nothing better than starting your day with library time with God. You don’t tackle your problems alone. You have the Almighty God on your side. Our greatest, our greatest, our greatest friend.

Like Julie said, let’s expose it. Bring everything, everything to God and ask for discernment to help you with anything you are dealing with.

I promise you, our help comes from the Almighty God, the maker of heaven and earth. He’s on our side. He’s by our side. He’s ahead of us. Nothing, nothing too difficult for Him.

God Whisper: I am on your side. I am by your side. I am ahead of you. Nothing is too difficult for Me, because you are with Me.

That is the greatest news ever. We got God on our side, guys.

Today we come boldly to Your throne of grace, just as we are. No hiding. No self-righteous mask.

We expose the darkness, Papa. Like Julie taught us — anything hidden, anything messy, anything we failed in. We bring it to Your light. We don’t run from it anymore.

Forgive us, Papa. Wash us.

We boast of our weaknesses today. We are the ones who have fallen many times at Your feet. And You said You prefer us there over the self-righteous who think they are without fault.

We say with our whole heart: My great friend, help me. You know only too well how helpless I am. But with You, I can do anything.

We only bring our 0.00001% — our showing up, our God Tree moment, our library time with You in the morning. And we thank You that You bring Your 99.99999% — You are the entire cleanup crew. Our help comes from You, Maker of heaven and earth.

For every friend who ghosted, for every “no thankyou” that hurt, for every time we messed up again and again — we come again. Boldly, boldly, boldly, boldly. Because You said, “I am near. I respond when you call.”

Make us Same Team today, Papa. At the service of the President. Bringing heaven to earth in how we show up — loving and supporting each other. Resisting evil with stronger love, stronger commitment to love.
