GOD, YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH ALL MY WAYS!!!
I can’t get over all this love and attention I receive from Him – WE ARE NEVER ALONE!!! Like I wrote this yesterday:
“Let me tell ya, no greater wisdom than wisdom from God. He teaches us through everyday struggles, like a big fight with my husband last night. I have a picture of my son, Emmie, by the prayer altar, reminding me to be the mom he needs ON THE HIGH ROAD WITH GOD even when others are unfair with me, I remind myself that God’s ways are more than fair and that I want to do my utmost best to please Him.”
Fast forward some hours later, my brother, Ceri, shared a post, and I commented:
“Wow! That’s precisely what I feel God telling me today, ‘Nik, STAY ON THE HIGH ROAD WITH ME. When others are unfair with you, remember My ways with you are more than fair!'”
Fast forward a few hours, I go to have an appointment with God, reading my over 700 page devotional, Jesus Calling, and after the first page I read didn’t feel like my high five from God, look what showed up on the very next page I randomly opened to, written as if God is speaking directly to us:
“STAY ON THE HIGH ROAD WITH ME (Wink! Wink!)”
Wow! Wow! Wow! God is pretty talkative, and what I can never get over is how intimately He is involved in every aspect of our lives. For Him to go to the trouble of having me go to Ceri’s post and the Jesus Calling to say, ‘Yes, My Nik, this is where I want you, on the high road with Me, forgiving plenty and loving extravagantly!’
And God confirmed another important message from Ceri yesterday! I sent him a video about how we forgive others, not for them, but FORGIVENESS IS FOR US. I thanked him for teaching me this crucial lesson. Can you believe this very message showed up by my prayer altar today:
“As Ceri says, this FORGIVENESS IS FOR US (Wink! Wink!). So we can have a clean slate with God. God, I did the right thing! And it gives us peace!”
So there you have it folks, wisdom direct from God! Let’s continue to be His representatives by staying on the high road with Him and by continuing to forgive ourselves and others. FORGIVENESS IS REALLY FOR US TO BE FREE AND NOT BOUGED DOWN WITH BITTERNESS AND RESENTMENTS.
In the conversation with Kevin a few minutes ago, I thanked him for teaching me to stay in the ring and not give up. We discussed how my bro, Jason, told me one day that he wished he had a wife like me and Kevin’s wife, who forgave them for everything. I asked Kevin, “Doesn’t God forgive us for everything we do?” So that’s the challenge from God: to extend the same unconditional love he gives us with others. So help us God!
I shared with Kevin how I felt God was singing this song to me today, and I was singing them back to the hubby on the ride to work today:

I’ll keep you safe, I’ll stand beside you right or wrong

Let’s bring back love and loyalty, extending God’s grace, mercy, patience, kindness, and gentleness to others, starting in our homes and branching out from there.
