“ONLY GOD GOT US OUT OF THIS!!!”
That was me to my son, Joshie, when we had our daily appointment with God today! It was a mistake where my husband accidentally placed a bid on a costly vehicle (the price of a very nice house!), and the buyer accepted his offer. We asked them to withdraw as a “goodwill” because of our mistake, but they refused. So, there began our mission to figure out this situation.
After another company refused to help us pay for it, because it was too much of a risk for them. I immediately called my husband in Nigeria to let him know this bad news. Still, before calling, I wanted to tell him we should speak to this gentleman in Orlando who had helped us out before. Before I could mention it, hubby immediately said, “Call the guy in Orlando.” My body became filled with goosebumps!” Goosebumps are a significant communication from God, saying this time, ‘Yes, My peeps, this is the way to go!’
I was not able to speak to him, though. They put me in touch with another employee, Sharon, who was happy to assist me with a solution, allowing us three weeks to sort out the issue. She gave me her contact number because she said I would call her often. Calling her often I certainly did! In one of those calls, I told her we went to pick up the vehicle from the pick-up location, and it was not there. She said, “Oh, that’s a reason you can arbitrate and back out of this sale because the sellers were supposed to have it there within 72 hours of the sale. We immediately contacted the arbitration department and said we no longer wanted the vehicle.
I called hubby from under the God tree today, saying, “Today is the day they will move that vehicle out of our account!” A few minutes later, I looked up the status on my computer, and it said $0.00 owed because the buyer (that’s us!) withdrew! We won the arbitration case, thanks to Sharon! So those goosebumps from God led me directly to her! I called her today and thanked her for being patient and understanding in helping us sort the situation out. GOD IS GREAT!!!
When I saw the email saying we purchased that vehicle, it was a constant conversation with God! The following day, I ran in the dark, asking God for His direction, and He didn’t disappoint!
Even down to the tow truck company, God told me to stick with my guy, Jason, who cold-called me one day, asking if I had any long-distance towing needs. He then helped me deliver two vehicles safely, and because of that, he earned my trust and loyalty. The feeling from God was to stick with Jason on this super expensive vehicle, too.
But here’s what happened. Jason and his team kept promising me for days to pick up the vehicle, and every day, they disappointed me. Finally, we got the tow to arrive, only to find out the car wasn’t there, exceeding the 72 hours the seller was allowed to deliver! And swoosh, just like that, we got out of that trouble! Phew!
The thing has taken my confidence in God super high, though! The time I spend running every day and seeking God has not been wasted! I’ve learned God’s voice pretty well – Nik, stick with Jason and be patient with them. Nik, call the guy in Orlando. Nik, call Sharon and tell her the vehicle was not at the pick-up location.
Also, the values I learned in these times with God, like having PATIENCE with Jason and being LOYAL to him. Also, this particular auction, we’ve stayed loyal to them, which was a big part of why Sharon went overboard in assisting us. LOYALTY PAYS!!!! When other people suggest that we purchase vehicles from other auctions for our family business, hubby and I always stick with this one. Like that’s the order from God Himself!!! Loyalty and patience also got me this better than best husband that it’s my privilege to stick with him and fight whatever battles come our way! LOYALTY AND PATIENCE, MY PEEPS, ARE REWARDED BY GOD. Don’t worry what anyone else is doing, you be the person God has called you to be!
MAKE SURE YOU ARE TAKING YOUR ALONE TIME WITH GOD SERIOUSLY! He is truly our best friend! Learn His voice and follow His guidance one moment and step at a time. Problems are a part of life, but we can relax (not in a lazy way!) knowing God Himself stands with us and is ready to help us tackle anything that comes our way. We’re not going by the ordinary rules. Our help comes from the Lord! Wink! Wink! Are you getting to know His voice and ways better?
