That’s my testimony, baby! Sure, we may have some ups and downs along the way, but the overall climb is always UP! In fact, God exceeds our expectations when we stick with Him. Yesterday He had my daughter Julie and me pursuing a textbook for her college class. She called ahead to one of the book stores, and they said they had it in stock, so off we went. Oh my goodness! I get there to meet this beautiful campus that blew the God maniac here away. Wow, God, you did this for us? He was the one who alerted me in my spirit all the way in Nigeria that I should get Julie enrolled in this program in the US where she is completing her last year of high school in college for free. The blessings of God! Let me tell ya, don’t miss out!
While there, I spoke to Julie about being a wise woman. I said to her that without a doubt, it was God who wanted her to attend that college. As I seek a closer walk with Him, He helps me in every aspect of my life, including parenting. I’ve learned His voice to the point that I knew it was Him who said to stop what I was doing one morning in Nigeria and send out that email to Julie’s school. He said specifically that I should not trust Julie to do it.
That’s the intimacy I’ve been experiencing with God. He whispers to me His secrets and His strategies for me to live my best life with Him. I get my advice from God. He blew me away with a customer who showed up in our office the other day. I told my husband that I wanted to stop buying cars until I could figure out some of the weaknesses we had going on with our business. God Himself has been opening my eyes on how we can improve. This customer took his time to explain why he drove an hour to come and purchase from us when he could have EASILY purchased from anywhere else. He confirmed, almost word for word, the business startegies I’ve been passing on to our manager as to what I felt God was whispering to me in my spirit. It was pretty freaky! It was a Sunday morning God even told me about a specific marketing source to use, and this was how this customer found us. Incredible! Those who look to God will not go hungry!
