GOD DOESN’T KEEP TRACK OF OUR SINS AND MISTAKES; HIS LOVE IS UNCONDITIONAL!

I’ve been beating myself up a lot, feeling like I’m getting the cold shoulder from some people lately, like I’m a terrible person, I don’t blame them. But, this morning, God had a talk to me through my meditation book, Yes, Father, and He beautifully had this to say:

“It may then well happen that on certain days I count twenty lapses (mistakes), while I couldn’t none on other days. And yet I may have made greater progress on the days when twenty failures occurred than on the days without one.”

See how God changes my perspective on everything. Nik, I prefer you to have days where you make many mistakes, and you to learn and grow from them, than for you to have a day where you made no mistakes and no progress.

To be honest, I have learned a lot from these slip-ups. I can definitely be gentler, patient, talk less, not not be so nagging all the time, to appreciate and love the people who love me despite all my weaknesses a little bit more. Also, for me to be more loving, less pointing out of others’ failures and forgiving because we all mess up constantly. So, I should extend forgiveness to others just how I expect them to forgive me. LOTS OF VALUABLE LESSONS! Woohoo!

So that when my team made some errors this week, I said to them today, “I rather you guys learn the lessons and become stronger so that in future we know how to handle ourselves better.” We’re building a tougher team! God even used it to make me a better leader (SMILE) – more appreciative, kinder, gentler, humbler, patient, and forgiving. So, instead of beating myself up about my failures, I can say, ‘Thanks, universe, for the lessons that made me step up my game, happier, more loving, and grateful.

I can’t get over God’s unconditional love for each of us. The meditation book went on to say:

“All experience failure, and are required to right things after each lapse and go forward as if nothing as happened. Lamentations (crying) over these failures would only cost time and energy. These are precious gifts of God which we are not supposed to waste.”

My other mediation book, He and I, said this, written as if God was speaking to us:

“Why do you sometimes think of Me as a severe master waiting for a chance to find fault with you? Wouldn’t you rather see Me a very loving friend ready to make excuses for you if you fall? The friend who keeps watch over you. Don’t you think I’m like that?”

He even went as far as playing the song ‘Beautiful’ by Akon on my computer yesterday in a little heated moment with the boys who were upset at me. I’ve written so many times that when these glitches happen, I know it’s God reminding me of His Presence. In telling Joshie about it, he said, “I wondered why you were playing that video. You never play videos!’ It was all God singing to me. Others may see me a certain way, but He said, through that song, “You’re a symbol of what every beautiful woman should be.” That’s the kind of love I receive from Him! Others may reject us, but the real us, God’s guys and girls, can never be rejected by Him. Let’s keep our eyes fixed on Him and not this world!
