“STRONG AND SOFT”

That’s the name of a tissue brand I love! I had fun cleaning the bathrooms at our office, feeling so enthusiastic about teaching our kids the family hustle and crucial values, baby! Like this idea of being both soft and hard, you need both! That’s what God has been teaching your girl here. The trick is involving God in every decision asking when to use what. I’m talking constant, constant conversations with God, all day, every day. It’s a continuous battle to ask God to be the love and priority of our lives, making decisions from His perspective, not our emotional and crazy selves.

Like being away from my husband and taking charge of our business here, your girl is learning to be strong, brave, courageous, bold, unflinching, tough, determined, and fearless. That’s where a relationship with God comes sweetly in. Like yesterday, He figured out the perfect way to let me know that I’m not handling this car business alone. He is with me. We have the motto at our car business that we won’t sell vehicles we won’t drive ourselves, and so I went the extra mile in testing a vehicle myself after a mechanic had fixed it. Can you believe at exactly 3:11, God took my attention to the last three digits of the trip odometer of the vehicle, and it said 311. That lined up too perfectly to be some ordinary coincidence. It was God Himself letting me know that He is personally involved in this family hustle with us and that He is intimately involved in every moment of my life (HUGE SMILE). Me and my sons were so proud driving that vehicle, knowing we were selling a great car to our customers.

And that 311 showing up was again a reminder from God regarding me being soft and staying on the high road with Him:

“But the Spirit produces the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. There is no law that says these things are wrong.” – Galatians 5:22-23

Super tough, let me tell ya, but that’s where the self-control and constant conversations with God come in, asking Him what He would have you to say, what He would have you to do, and where He would have you to go. As I stay on the high road with God, he floods me with His favor and blessings, and why I say, ‘God, anything to please You let me learn. Amen.’ Make sure you have your appointments with Him where you learn His voice and specific guidance for your life. Back to enjoying the day with my kids and our family hustle where God is our Boss!!! Wink! Wink!
