| I’ve been quoting that statement from Donald Trump ALOT lately, and a few minutes after saying this to someone, God found a fun way of revealing His invisible Presence with me. This message incredibly showed up in my meditation book: “This is an opportunity to TRUMP (Wink! Wink!) your roller-coaster feelings with faith in Me. Make the most of it.” – Jesus Calling That “TRUMP” showing up was no coincident! It was a tiny glimmer of God revealing His invisible Presence with me. I held on to that small glimpse of Him with me for the ENTIRE day reminded that He is ALWAYS with me and I’m to practice a more steady and confident faith in Him – no roller-coaster faith. That goes for you too!!! Another wink from Him was these verses showing up: “Then we will no longer be babies. We will not be tossed about like a ship that the waves carry one way and then another…Speaking the truth with love, we will grow up in every way… Each part does its own work to make the whole body grow and be strong with love.” – Ephesians 4:14-16 When I saw that “we will no longer be babies,” I knew God was talking directly to me saying, ‘Nik, I want you to grow up to be the mature, loving, confident in Me woman I designed you to be. Not being tossed to and fro by every little situation that pops up.’ I love when God talks tough to me! (SMILE) This big, emotional, and neurotic wreck of a train here that keeps falling, seriously needed the reminder. God corrects those He loves. But what I loved most about yesterday is that in a moment of feeling overwhelmed, I called my husband for some emotional support, and he was busy with a customer. That left me going to God and spending a little EXTRA time with Him, which left me feeling guilty that I needed that LONG appointment when I have so much on my plate to do right now. But, God knowing every thought I think, had this to say to me in a late-night alone time with Him: “SPENDING TIME alone with Me is essential for your well-being. It is not a luxury or an option; it is a necessity. Therefore, DO NOT FEEL GUILTY about taking time to be with Me… Talk to Me about what you are experiencing, and ask Me to show you the way forward…Come near to me, and I will come near to you.” – Jesus Calling I’m now thanking my husband for being busy yesterday because it pushed me CLOSER to God. And there I have His love, strategies, guidance, support, and solutions to tackle anything that comes my way and also ENJOY His company. A 24 hour a day Husband/Friend/Father/Companion. | Devon Franklin is reeally motivating me to step up my game to be BETTER. So far, these have been some of the crucial lessons:-Cut down on the Netflix/social media check-ins -Stop Judging -Stop anything that’s holding you back – I’ve cut out sweets -Stop the econstant phone check-ins -Get up early and have an appointment with God -Wake up earlier and get an earlier start on my day -FOCUS more -Stop worrying about what others think about me appearance wise and how many likes I get -Do the work God has called you to do -Have more faith in God – the God stock always goes up -Stop expecting so much from other people and expect MORE from God -No matter what anyone else is doing, I must be obedient to God and what He would have me to do in every moment.Search Devon Franklin on YouTube and his book, The Truth About Men, has been excellent so far.
