That was one little thought (prayer!) a few weeks ago, and this morning I sat down on a new beautiful sofa which my husband purchased for our anniversary on Sunday, along with a comfy rug, and gorgeous center table. God is too much! Like magic, Nik wants a nice set-up for her alone times with Me – “POOF!” He delivered! I sat down in that area with Him so happy thinking how He shows me such intense love. Let me tell ya, I work for Him, and He is behind the scenes of my life seriously WORKING FOR ME! God, I love You, too! (BIG SMILE)
And can you believe He showed up in my special section? I was on Tumblr.com, where I search for “God” posts to hear from Him, when a glitch on the computer revealed the desktop, where there is a special message God Himself placed there:
“I (GOD) AM WITH YOU ALWAYS”
Fast forward about 30 minutes later, I decided to open a devotional of over 700 pages, and the very page I randomly opened to, in italics were those very words AGAIN:
“I (GOD) AM WITH YOU ALWAYS” Wink! Wink!
When someone asked me yesterday, “What is God like?” I could only say that His love is unimaginable, and you must get to know Him for yourself. This one hour that I intend to spend with Him every day is invaluable because that’s where He shares intimate secrets with me about life. He has also strengthened my faith TO THE UTMOST so that no matter what trouble I’m faced with, I can RELAX and KNOW THAT HE IS BESIDE ME, AHEAD OF ME and BEHIND ME (He has my back, baby!). I THEREFORE HAVE EVERY REASON TO BE JOYFUL EVERY DAY! Amen!
And the LOVE is so strong that I just want to feel His Presence moment by moment. NO OTHER LOVE OR APPROVAL NEEDED.
Funny thing about that devotional is that I gave it to my husband some years ago. And I wrote inside that I want him stuck with the reality of how much God loves him so much that He gave me to him as his wife, but hubby has switched the script on me – HE HAS ME STUCK WITH THE REALITY OF HOW MUCH GOD LOVES ME THAT HE GAVE HIM TO ME AS MY HUSBAND!!! I’m His gift from God, and He is undoubtedly my gift from Him!
The only problem now is that this new furniture area I have for my time with God is so lovely, I may not come to work too often. I am just kidding, sweetie! I love how you love having your wife around you. Mwah!
